This half-day tutorial will be led by the original creators of AutoTutor, a prototype conversation-based adaptive instructional systems (CbAIS). The tutorial will inform you about (a) the theoretical foundations, enabling technologies, and practical applications of CbITS through hands-on and worked-out examples and (b) simple, common, and advanced data analysis methods that apply to the analysis of learner data.
