We present a systematic study of the global polarization of Lambda and Lambda hyperons in Au+Au collisions at root s(NN)=19.6 GeV using the viscous hydrodynamic model CCNU-LBNL-Viscous hydrodynamic model (CLVisc) with a modified 3D optical Glauber model initial condition. The global polarization splitting as a function of transverse momentum and rapidity is investigated. It is shown that the magnitude of the net baryon density and its longitudinal titled geometry at the initial stage both have significant effects on the global polarization splitting of Lambda and Lambda over bar hyperons.
