The DNA was extracted by saturated phenol method from VHA273 Strain of Heliothis armigera polyhedrosts virus. Three cell lines from Heliothis armigera (Ha). Spodoptera frugiperda(Sf)and Bombyx mori(Bm)were transfected respectively by the DNAs with calthium phosphate co-precipitation method, The virus particles, nucleocapsids, inclusion bodies and polyhedrin of VHA273 strain could not be detected at all by ELISA, light and electronic microscope.
