近年来，Ａｇｅｎｔ和面向Ａｇｅｎｔ的程序设计的研究和开发在国外得到了迅速的发展．它所具有的自身的社会性、开放性、自主性和智能性使其已经成为计算机科学的主流．本文评述了Ａ－ｇｅｎｔ和面向Ａｇｅｎｔ的程序设计研究和进展；讨论了Ａｇｅｎｔ的相关概念和分类属性；分析了面向对象程序和面向Ａｇｅｎｔ程序设计各自的特点并且提出了面向Ａｇｅｎｔ程序设计的框架．
