分析了长江流域洪灾的类型特征、水文特征、灾害特征，指出长江流域洪灾类型多样、水文特征复杂、灾害损失巨大且历时时间长；全面系统探讨了长江流域洪灾的成因，指出暴雨和河湖蓄泄洪能力不足是成灾的主要原因；阐述了应对长江流域洪灾的基本思路。

The paper analyzes the characteristics of the flood in the Changjing Basin from the aspects of type, hydrology and disaster. It points out its type is diverse, its hydrology is complex, its loss is huge and its lasting time is long.
