The problem on prevention and cure of flood/drought disasters in Hubei is analyzed. It is concluded that it is necessary to reestimate the bearing capacity of natural environment impacted by human activities, and the measure on the flood in Jianghan plain and the drought in north Hubei should be paid much attention, especially the forecasting and evaluation for those utmost disasters.
