本文通过对土家族民间家具木雕艺术特征的分析,以及明清时期、改土归流之后土家族区域经济形态变化的研究,总结出土家族家具木雕造型的风格特征,认为它独特的形式风格主要体现在大胆夸张的以意造型;本质元素的以线概括;打破时空的自由空间.并从家具木雕艺术的题材与表现风格上与其它民族区域家具木雕的相似性,结合民族之间族际演化的特点深入探索土家民间文化与汉文化的互渗,说明土家族民间传统艺术对于保存传统文化遗产所起到的重要作用.

On analyzing the wood carving of Tu nationality's furniture in Wulin religion and researching on the changes of Wulin religional economy, this paper summaries the art features of the wood carving in the furniture.
