奥塔哥理工学院（Otago Polytechnic）是一所应用型技术学院,也是一所以课程职业导向著称的现代化职业学院。奥塔哥理工学院所开设的课程学科领域广泛,利用地理和人文环境优势,采用国际化、阶梯化和实用化的课程设置模式,并拥有成熟的职业培训系统,培养出了大批能适应新西兰和全球经济竞争的高技能和高素质的劳动者。本文通过对实地调研的分析和国内外职业教育的对比,希望能为中国职业技术教育的发展寻找到一些可行的思路和途径。
