大陆高校多种形式的继续教育空前发展,形成学历继续教育和非学历继续教育齐头并进的局面。随着大陆经济社会转型步伐的加快,大陆高校继续教育传统的办学理念和办学模式已经不能适应经济社会发展的需要,而台湾地区高校继续教育为构建终身化学习社会服务的办学理念和市场化的管理体制和运行机制值得我们学习和借鉴。大陆高校继续教育要适应经济社会转型发展的要求,就必须更新重学历教育、轻非学历教育,重个人的职业能力的发展、轻文化素质的提升的传统观念,改革旧的管理体制和运行机制,充分发挥学校特色与优势,实现差异化发展。
