在积极老龄化已成为社会共识、我国正在推进实施积极应对人口老龄化国家战略的背景下，老年人再就业在我国不仅具有重要意义，而且具有十分有利的现实条件，促进老年人再就业势在必行。为此，需加强积极老龄化宣传，营造适宜老年人就业的良好社会氛围；做出相应的制度安排和政策调整，为老年人再就业提供根本保障；促进经济发展，加大财政投入，为老年人再就业提供更多支持和机会；健全老年人再就业服务体系，创新和丰富老年人就业形式；提升老年人再就业能力，增强老年人再就业的适应性和稳定性。
