Monoclinic lithium vanadium phosphate, Li3V2(PO 4)3, was synthesized by a sol-gel method under Ar/H 2 (8% H2) atmosphere. The influence of sintering temperatures on the synthesis of Li3V2(PO 4)3 has been investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD), SEM and electrochemical methods. XRD patterns show that the Li3V 2(PO4)3 crystallinity with monoclinic structure increases with the sintering temperature from 700 to 800 °C and then decreases from 800 to 900 °C.
