Inverse spinel structure Zn2SnO4 was successfully synthesized by a simple hydrothermal process using NaOH as an alkaline mineralizer. The hydrothermal conditions, such as alkaline concentration and synthesis temperature, have an important influence on the structure and performance of the product. The structural, morphological and electrochemical properties were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electrochemical measurement.
