Aquatic vegetation plays an important role in the maintenance of wetland biodiversity and ecological function. As the complex spectral characteristics and growth environment, its spatial distribution is affected by many factors. This study investigated the potential of using remote sensing to map aquatic vegetation distribution on a large scale in Honghu Lake, China.
