A type of composite metamaterials (CMMs) with unique configurations is demonstrated and the transmission properties performed in free space exhibit a pass band at about 8.5 GHz.Simulations with lateral displacement of Gaussian beam transmitted through parallelogram-shaped medium are realized, which can demonstrate the negative refraction index.
