王亚南为中国知名经济学家，他在赴日本、德国游学研修之前，曾就读于私立武昌中华大学教育学系。有关他入读中华大学和转入中华大学教育系的时间，以及是否可以视他为该校或该系毕业生等问题，历来存在着诸多歧见。本文试图通过对相关史料的梳理，认定他于1922年春入读中华大学预科，又于1923年秋考入中华大学经济学系，并于次年秋转入该校教育学系；后又因为种种原因，未能修完大学第四年的课程，因而宜视其为中华大学教育系肄业生。
