网络虚拟精神生活是当代青年精神生活发展中的新层次和主要形式。高校青年虚拟精神生活存在精神世界的困惑与虚拟求助、精神世界的拉扯与虚拟依赖、精神世界的无力与虚拟共舞三种状态。应通过帮助青年走出困惑来吸引青年、引导青年加强对自我本质的掌握来凝聚青年、确正新时代多样的奋斗理念来引领青年。同时，通过建立赢得关注、取得信任、稳健输出的引导机制，培植促进青年发展的网络意见领袖，传播和弘扬虚拟空间内的奋斗精神等形式，启智青年进行自我调适和自我教育。
