越南在城市化进程中，出现了城市发展不均衡、城市贫富差距拉大、城市环境恶化、农地流失等问题。为此，越南政府采取了种种措施：大力推进农村工业化和城镇化，制定合理的城市发展战略，设立城市发展的社会民生指标，完善土地管理机制等。这些措施有效果，也有局限，其中的经验教训值得借鉴。

There have been some problems in the process of urbanization in Vietnam.
