Data fields in a form contain invaluable information so that field data extraction is important in form processing. Most conventional data extraction methods depend on the line frames. However there are many types of forms such as table-form and non table-from that are without line frames and popularly used in our daily lives as well. A new field locating method using priori knowledge is proposed. It is based on two-level regulated hit or miss transform features of form background. The feasibility of the method is proved theoretically. Experiments and application show that it is several dozen times faster than ordinary regulated hit or miss transform and the correct rate is satisfied with real applications.

In this paper,we prove that a complete n-dimensional Riemannian manifold with nonnegative kth-Ricci curvature, large volume growth has finite topological type provided that limr→∞{(vol[B(p,r)]/ωnrn-αM)rk(n-1)k+1(1-α/2)}≤ε for some constant ε> 0. We also prove that a complete Riemannian manifold with nonnegative kth-Ricci curvature and under some pinching conditions is diffeomorphic to Rn.

Based on the existence theory on the Boltzmann equation with external forces in infinite vacuum, in this paper, we will study the L-1 and BV-type stability of the classical solutions for small initial data. The stability results generalize those for the Boltzmann equation without force to the case with external force. In particular, we show that the stability can be established for the soft potentials directly, while the stability for the hard potentials and hard sphere model is obtained through the construction of some nonlinear functionals. The functionals thus constructed generalize those constructed in [S.-Y. Ha, Nonlinear functionals of the Boltzmann equation and uniform stability estimates, J. Differential Equations 215 (2005) 178-205] for the case without force to capture the effect of the force term on the time evolution of the solutions. (c) 2006 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.

In this paper, we consider an initial boundary value problem for some nonlinear evolution system with dissipation and ellipticity. We establish the global existence and furthermore obtain the L-p (p >= 2) decay rates of solutions corresponding to diffusion waves. 摘要:
This paper is concerned with matrices of abstract differential operators which are parabolic in the sense of Shilov or correct in the sense of Petrovskij. We show that they generate regularized cosine functions with suitable regularizing operators under sharper conditions. The results then are applied to matrices of partial differential operators on many function spaces. Finally, the wellposedness of the associated second-order systems is discussed.

Abstract: This paper concerns space-like submanifolds in a pseudo-Riemannianspace-time Sp^m+p∪→Ep^m+p+1 (P ≥ 1), and proves that connected compact maximalsuace-like submanifolds in a pseudo-Riemannian spacetime Sp^m+p∪→Ep^m+p+1 (P ≥ 1) must be totally umbilical, and also totally geodesic. Particularly, when p = 1, our result is just Montiel's in case of H = 0.
