Ⅰ. INTRODUCTION The squeezed field state, which exhibits fluctuations in one quadrature component of field smaller than those associated with the vacuum state, at the cost of increased fluctuations in the other quadrature component, is one type of the pure quantum-mechanical states of the radiation field. The state has been extensively studied because of its potential applications in optical communications and weak signal detections since it was introduced by Stoler in 1970.

摘要:
In this letter we show that most of the fluctuations in particle densities observed in relativistic heavy-ion collisions are consistent with stochastic emission, i.e., most of the correlations between produced particles are washed out due to the vast number of particles in the environment. We further explore the general trends by investigating different systems, energies and centrality cuts. Comparisons with the Fritiof model show that string fragmentation gives results similar to the data.

摘要:
We have calculated the polarization and intensity of radiation emergent from a geometrically thin and magnetized accretion disk, assuming that the radiation is synchrotron radiation scattered by thermal electrons in the disk. The results show that the degree of polarization and intensity depend sensitively on the orientation and on the total optical depth of the disk, and that the degree of polarization can exceed considerably the limit of 11.7% obtained with semi-infinite scattering atmospheres. The high degree of linear polarization and rapid variability of the disk radiation are consistent with observations of some QSOs and BL Lacertae objects.

This paper has discussed the behaviour of total entropy of self-gravitating polytropes in the nonsingular region and proved that the self-gravitating polytropes in the nonsingular region satisfy the equation of general relativistic hydrostatic equilibrium (TOV equation). We obtain that the magnitude order of total entropy of the polytropes with mass M. is (10(40) divided-by 10(41)) erg.K-1 by calculating the nonsingular entropy of self-gravitating polytropes with state equation p = K-rho(GAMMA), where K not-equal -1, -3-2 square-root 2 < K < -3 + 2 square-root 2, K > 0, GAMMA is a constant.
