In these proceedings, we present the measurements of proton, light nuclei, and strange particle with neutral kaons correlation functions in Au+Au collisions at the BES program and top RHIC energy. The experimental results are compared with model calculations to extract the size of emitting source and the properties of the final-state interactions. The collision energy and centrality dependence of the source size are studied. Further, the implications for the production mechanism of light nuclei are discussed.

摘要：
The B+ → Jψη′K+ decay is observed for the first time using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb−1. The branching fraction of this decay is measured relative to the known branching fraction of the B+ → ψ(2S)K+ decay and found to beBB+→Jψη′K+BB+→ψ2SK+=4.91±0.47±0.29±0.07×10−2,\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$ \frac{\mathcal{B}\left({B}^{+}\to {J\psi \eta}^{\prime }{K}^{+}\right)}{\mathcal{B}\left({B}^{+}\to \psi (2S){K}^{+}\right)}=\left(4.91\pm 0.47\pm 0.29\pm 0.07\right)\times {10}^{-2}, $$\end{document}where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic and the third is related to external branching fractions. A first look at the J/ψη′ mass distribution is performed and no signal of intermediate resonances is observed.

摘要：
We celebrate the legacies of our friend and mentor Professor Lianshou Liu who was one of the pioneers for the phenomenology of multi-particle interactions and initiated the physics of relativistic heavy-ion collisions in China. In this article, we discuss some of the recent exciting experimental observations on the collective phenomena including collectivity, chirality, criticality, strangeness production, and thermal equilibrium in high-energy nuclear collisions. Future directions, especially the physics at high baryon density, will be discussed with a focus on the first-order phase boundary and hyperon-nucleon interactions.

The thermodynamic properties of charged particles, such as the energy density, pressure, entropy density, particle density, and squared speed of sound at the kinetic freeze-out in the
$$\mathrm {Au+Au}$$
collisions from the relativistic heavy ion collider (RHIC) beam energy scan program (
$$\sqrt{s_\text {NN}}$$
= 7.7–200 GeV) and in the
$$\mathrm {Cu + Cu}$$
collisions at
$$\sqrt{s_\text {NN}}$$
= 62.4, 200 GeV are studied using the thermodynamically consistent Tsallis distribution. The energy density, pressure, and particle density decrease monotonically with the collision energy for the same collision centrality; These properties also decrease monotonically from the central to peripheral collisions at the same collision energy. While the scaled energy density
$$\varepsilon /T^4$$
and scaled entropy density
$$s/T^{3}$$
demonstrate the opposite trend with the collision energy for the same collision centrality. There is a correlation between
$$\varepsilon /T^{4}$$
and
$$s/T^{3}$$
at the same centrality. In addition, the squared speed of sound was calculated to determine that all the collision energies share nearly the same value at different collision centralities.

摘要：
In our paper, the authors take the simple case of periodic randomisation by disrupting two parameters in unit cells. The authors characterise the topological breakdown via directly calculating variances to Chern numbers under their defined perturbation. Their calculation demonstrates that such a periodic perturbation easily annihilates topological invariants, providing benchmark for future design of these topological devices. Abstract In the known field of topological photonics, what remains less so is the breakdown effect of topological phases deteriorated by perturbation. In this study, the authors investigate the variance on topological invariants for a periodic Kekulé medium perturbed in unit cells, which was a gyromagnetic photonic crystal holding topological phases induced by synchronised rotation of unit cells. Two parameters for geometric and material perturbation are respectively benchmarked to characterise the topological degradation. Our calculation demonstrates that such a periodic perturbation easily destructs the topological phase and thus calls for further checkups on robustness under such unit‐cell‐perturbation in realisation.

摘要：
Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs) are millisecond-duration transient events that are typically observed at radio wavelengths and cosmological distances but their origin remains unclear. Furthermore, most FRB origin models are related to the processes at stellar scales, involving neutron stars, blackholes, supernovae, etc. In this paper, our purpose is to determine whether multi-structural one-off FRBs and repeaters share similarities. To achieve this, we focus on analyzing the relationship between the FRB event rate and the star formation rate, complemented by statistical testing methods. Based on the CHIME/FRB Catalog 1, we calculate the energy functions for four subsamples, including apparent non-repeating FRBs (one-offs), repeaters, multi-structural one-offs, and the joint repeaters and multi-structural events, respectively. We then derive the FRB event rates at different redshifts for all four subsamples, all of which were found to share a similar cosmological evolution trend. However, we find that the multi-structural one-offs and repeaters are distinguishable from the KS and MWW tests.

Strangeness production has been suggested to be a sensitive probe to the early-time dynamics of the nuclear matter created in heavy-ion collisions. Transverse momentum distributions and yields of strange hadrons provide important information on their production mechanisms and can help us probe the properties of the created medium and its evolution. Thanks to the high statistics data taken during the STAR BES-II program in 2018-2021, a series of measurements on the properties of strangeness production at low energies are carried out. In these proceedings, the production of <i>K<i/><sup>−<sup/>, , <i>ϕ<i/>, <i>Λ<i/>, and Ξ<sup>−<sup/> in Au+Au collisions at GeV are presented. The strange hadron transverse momentum spectra, rapidity density distributions, and particle ratios are shown. These results are compared with UrQMD model calculations, and the extracted kinetic freeze-out parameters are discussed and compared with the ones from higher collision energies.

Hipposideros pratti called at higher intensities while keeping the constant frequencies of their echolocation pulses consistent under spectrally non-overlapping background noise conditions. The noise could decrease auditory sensitivity and sharp intensity tuning, suggesting an acoustic masking effect. These results provide further evidence of negative consequences of anthropogenic noise. The environment noise may disturb animal behavior and echolocation via three potential mechanisms: acoustic masking, reduced attention and noise avoidance. Compared with the mechanisms of reduced attention and noise avoidance, acoustic masking is thought to occur only when the signal and background noise overlap spectrally and temporally. In this study, we investigated the effects of spectrally non-overlapping noise on echolocation pulses and electrophysiological responses of a constant frequency-frequency modulation (CF-FM) bat, Hipposideros pratti. We found that H. pratti called at higher intensities while keeping the CFs of their echolocation pulses consistent. Electrophysiological tests indicated that the noise could decrease auditory sensitivity and sharp intensity tuning, suggesting that spectrally non-overlapping noise imparts an acoustic masking effect. Because anthropogenic noises are usually concentrated at low frequencies and are spectrally non-overlapping with the bat's echolocation pulses, our results provide further evidence of negative consequences of anthropogenic noise. On this basis, we sound a warning against noise in the foraging habitats of echolocating bats.

Searching for X-ray and gamma-ray bursts, including Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), Soft Gamma-ray Repeaters (SGRs), and high energy transients associated with Gravitational wave (GW) events or Fast radio bursts (FRBs), is of great importance in the multimessenger and multiwavelength era. Although a coherent search based on the likelihood ratio and Gaussian statistics has been established and utilized in many studies, this Gaussian-based method could be problematic for weak and short bursts which usually have very few counts. To deal with all bursts including weak ones, here we propose the coherent search in Poisson statistics. We studied the difference between Poisson-based and Gaussian-based search methods by Monte Carlo simulations, and find that the Poisson-based search method has advantages compared to the Gaussian case, especially for weak bursts. Our results show that, for very weak bursts with very low number of counts, the Poisson-based search can provide higher significance than the Gaussian-based search, and its likelihood ratio (for background fluctuation) still generally follows the chi(2) distribution, making the significance estimation of searched bursts very convenient. Thus, we suggest that the coherent search based on Poisson-likelihood ratio is more appropriate in the search for generic transients including very weak ones.

A Dalitz plot analysis of the Ds+\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$ {D}_s^{+} $$\end{document} → π−π+π+ decay is presented. The analysis is based on proton-proton collision data recorded by the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.5 fb−1. The resonant structure of the decay is obtained using a quasi-model-independent partial-wave analysis, in which the π+π− S-wave amplitude is parameterised as a generic complex function determined by a fit to the data. The S-wave component is found to be dominant, followed by the contribution from spin-2 resonances and a small contribution from spin-1 resonances. The latter includes the first observation of the Ds+\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$ {D}_s^{+} $$\end{document}→ ω(782)π+ channel in the Ds+\documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$ {D}_s^{+} $$\end{document}→ π−π+π+ decay. Based on the framework of Filippov solution, a non-chattering controller is presented to realize the fixed-time (FXT) stability for a nonlinear system with the discontinuous activation function. First, a novel FXT stability criterion is established through the reduction to absurdity, and the settling time is estimated. Then, by building two controllers without chattering, sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the FXT synchronization of the drive-response system. Moreover, compared with the existing results, the FXT obtained here is less conservative and more accurate. Finally, the validity of the proposed methods is provided by two numerical examples.
