摘要:
We present the first measurements of charge-dependent correlations on angular difference variables eta(1) - eta(2) (pseudorapidity) and phi(1) - phi(2) (azimuth) for primary charged hadrons with transverse momentum 0.15 <= p(t) <= 2 GeV/c and vertical bar eta vertical bar <= 1.3 from Au-Au collisions at root(s)NN = 130 GeV. We observe correlation structures not predicted by theory but consistent with evolution of hadron emission geometry with increasing centrality from one-dimensional fragmentation of color strings along the beam direction to an at least two-dimensional hadronization geometry along the beam and azimuth directions of a hadron-opaque bulk medium. We present the first statistically meaningful results from two-K-s(0) interferometry in heavy-ion collisions at root s(NN)=200 GeV. A model that takes the effect of the strong interaction into account has been used to fit the measured correlation function. The effects of single and coupled channels were explored. At the mean transverse mass < m(T)>=1.07 GeV, we obtain the values R=4.09 +/- 0.46(stat)+/- 0.31(sys) fm and lambda=0.92 +/- 0.23(stat)+/- 0.13(sys), where R and lambda are the invariant radius and chaoticity parameters, respectively. The results are qualitatively consistent with m(T) systematics established with pions in a scenario characterized by a strong collective flow.

Hawking radiation viewed as a semiclassical tunneling process from the event horizon of the (2 + 1)-dimensional rotating BTZ black hole is carefully reexamined by taking into account not only the energy conservation but also the conservation of angular momentum when the effect of the emitted particle's self-gravitation is incorporated. In contrast to previous analysis of this issue in the literature, our result obtained here fits well to the Parikh-Wilczek's universal conclusion without any modification to the Bekenstein-Hawking area-entropy formulae of the BTZ black hole.

摘要:
The hadronization scheme for parton transport in relativistic heavy ion collisions is considered in detail. It is pointed out that the traditional scheme for particles being freezed out one by one leads to serious problem on unreasonable long lifetime of partons. A collective phase transition following a supercooling is implemented in a simple way. It turns out that the modified model with a sudden phase transition is able to reproduce the experimental longitudinal distributions of final state particles better than the original one does. The encouraging results indicate that equilibrium phase transition should be taken into proper account in parton transport models for relativistic heavy ion collisions.

摘要:
Type-I color superconductors display a first-order phase transition due to thermal gauge-field fluctuations. We numerically evaluated the critical temperature of the first-order phase transition and the corresponding discontinuity of the diquark condensate at the critical point.

摘要:
We investigated theoretically the emission spectrum for a harmonically trapped two-level atom; our study is not limited in Lamb-Dicke approximation. We have shown that the effects of the atomic motion on the emission spectrum are dependent on the initial state of the system, the Lamb-Dicke parameter η, and the detuning parameter.
