摘要:
Differential evolution (DE) is one of the most powerful and effective evolutionary algorithms for the global optimization problems. However, the performance of DE highly depends on control parameters. To solve this problem, dissipative differential evolution with self-adaptive control parameters (DSDE) is proposed in this paper. In DSDE approach, the values of control parameters are adjusted by the fitness information between the target vector and trial vector. Because the population diversity is a key to avoid falling into the local optima, DSDE develops dissipative scheme to make the population far away equilibrium state. Experimental studies on comprehensive set of benchmark functions show DSDE achieves better results for the majority of test cases.

The identification of a module's fault-proneness is very important for minimizing cost and improving the effectiveness of the software development process. How to obtain the correlation between inspection metrics and module's fault-proneness, hiding in the observed data, has been focused by very researches. In this paper, we propose the use of a fuzzy inference system for this purpose. In order to empirically evaluate the effectiveness of proposed approach, we apply it on empirical data published by Ebenau and NASA's Metrics Data Program data repository, respectively. Experiments results confirm that proposed approach is very effective for establishing relationship between inspection metrics and fault-proneness, and that its implementation don't require neither extra cost nor expert's knowledge, and it is completely automated. Novel approach can provide software project managers with reasonably suggestion and much-needed insights.
摘要:
This paper proposes an effective particle swarm optimization algorithm with social weight (ESWPSO) to solve economic dispatch problem in power system. Many nonlinear characteristics of cost function and operational constraints are all considered for practical operation. The extremum disturbance operator in ESWPSO effectively contributes to finding better solutions by generating random points in promising area. The penalty strategy is adopted to help particles satisfy the dynamic power balance constraints. The effectiveness and feasibility of ESWPSO are demonstrated by two power system cases. Compared with previous literature, the experiment results show ESWPSO can fast find higher quality solutions.

Opposition-based Differential Evolution (ODE) has been proved to be an effective method to Differential Evolution (DE) in solving many optimization functions, and it's faster and more robust convergence than classical DE. In this paper, a fast ODE algorithm (FODE), using a local search method with Cauchy mutation is proposed. The simulation experiments are conducted on a comprehensive set of 10 complex benchmark functions. Compared with ODE, FODE is faster and more robust.

摘要:
This paper presents a study on predictive control for current closed loop control of active power filter (APF). Through analyzing the mathematical model of APF and predictive control theory, the current predictive control (CPC) of active power filter is deduced. The mathematical expressions of predictive model, feedback adjustment and optimization control are analyzed and the relationship between control parameters and system performance is discussed. The proposed method is tested on a DSP-based APF system. The results of simulation and experiment show that the method improves the controlling precision and dynamic performance of APF and it is correct and feasible.
