近年来,在形形色色炒得火热的“保健品”中,鱼油可能是屈指可数有科学证据支持的一种。在过去的几十年中,学术界、工业界和主管部门争先恐后,从各个方面对鱼油进行了广泛的研究。在严肃的学术刊物上,有多达几十项的功能被探讨过。其中,它对于心血管健康的好处,已经得到了比较广泛的认同。

摘要:
CcpA是革兰氏阳性菌中由ccpA基因编码的介导碳分解代谢物阻遏的全局调控因子。近年来的研究表明,CcpA不仅参与CCR效应,还直接或间接参与病原细菌毒力基因的表达调控。为探讨CcpA对单核细胞增生李斯特菌(Lm)毒力的影响,应用同源重组方法构建CcpA缺失菌株。以BLAB/c小鼠为实验动物模型,检测野生株EGDe和缺失株EGDeΔccpA侵染小鼠后的半数致死剂量 LD_(50)和肝脾细菌载菌量,观察小鼠肝脏和脾脏的病理形态变化。结果显示:缺失CcpA后,Lm的LD_(50)降低了10倍,虽然肝脾细菌载菌量没有显著变化,但EGDe△ccpA对小鼠肝和脾的损害更为严重,表明CcpA缺失增强了细菌的毒力,CcpA对Lm毒力基因的表达可能具有间接或者直接的调控作用。

HIRA is one of the chaperones of histone H3.3. Mutation of Hira results in embryonic lethality in mice, suggesting a critical role in embryogenesis. However, Hira-mutated Drosophila may survive to adults, indicating that it is dispensable in Drosophila development. The role of Hira in fish development is unknown. In this study we first investigated the expression of Hira during embryogenesis of gibel carp (Carassius auratus gibelio) by whole-mount in situ hybridization. We found that Hira signal appeared ubiquitously in the early embryos. After gastrulation, it appeared mainly along the anterior-posterior axis, including the tail bud. In hatching period, the signal was detected in head, heart, and the endoderm region on the back of yolk. Then by microinjection with morpholino-HIRA at the beginning of development, we observed delayed gastrulation and abnormal somitogenesis in gibel carp embryos. The HIRA morphants exhibited short trunk, limited yolk extension, and twisted tail. Most of the mutants died during embryogenesis or shortly after hatching. The rest of the HIRA morphants could survive to larvae but with severe defects in organogenesis. These data suggest that HIRA may be essential for the development of gibel carp, and this function is conserved in vertebrates. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media Dordrecht.

说实话,这些都是既古老、又新鲜的问题,因此需要从最基础的血型和血液学知识来探讨.
血型与血型种类
我们所说的血型一般是指ABO血型,是按红细胞所含有的抗原来分型的.1920年,奥地利维也纳大学的病理学家兰德斯坦纳发现,如果按血液中红细胞所含抗原物质来划分血型就可以避免病人因输血而频频发生的血液凝集导致病人死亡的悲剧.

《楚天都市报》曾报道:2011年3月18日上午9时57分,32岁的襄阳小伙蒋大鹏在妻子陪同下,登上开往武汉的D5204次列车.在今后4天里,蒋大鹏将在武汉同济医院造血干细胞采集室,连续注射4天干细胞动员剂,然后捐出自己的骨髓,解救远在上海的一名白血病患者.

<正>几年前湖北健康新闻有则报道:一位怀孕七个月孕妇,在省妇幼保健院产科门诊做检查时,腹中宝宝被发现有多发性畸形,无脑尧唇裂尧脊裂尧马蹄足外翻,不得不引产。探其原因,竟是怀孕后入住新居数月,其装修环境污染所致。北京儿童医院血液科曾做过统计,该院接诊的白血病患儿中,有90%的家庭在半年之内曾经进行过装修。

摘要:
Bensulfuron methyl (BSM) is widely used for agricultural purposes and has raised health concerns, as well as ecological problems. Immunoassay would be one of the most advantaged measurements compared with traditional methods for BSM detection and measurement. In order to develop indirect competitive enzyme-linked immunoassay (icELISA), the anti-BSM monoclonal antibody (anti-BSM MAb) was produced. For the MAb production, BSM was conjugated to OVA and injected to mice with Freud's adjuvant for immunisation. Antiserum screening has revealed successful immunising. One stable hybridoma cell line (2H1) was obtained through cell fusion between spleen cells of immunised mouse and SP 2/0 cells. The MAb secreted by 2H1 cells was of high affinity and sensitivity, as well as specificity to BSM. Then the protocol of the icELISA and standard curve for BSM measurement was made and examined by controlled application. Significantly, the application has exhibited 96.530%-107.2% recovery of BSM. The produced MAb and established immunoassay may facilitate the measurement of BSM and herein help to ensure food safety and regulate environmental protection. © 2013 Taylor & Francis.

摘要:
The ability of the food-borne pathogen Listeria monocytogenes to tolerate bile is critical to its successful infection and colonization in the human gastrointestinal tract. Using comparative proteomics, a total of 48 proteins were identified in this study in the presence of moderate (0.3 %) or high (3 %) level of bile salts in the wild-type strain EGD. Identified proteins fell into 14 functional categories covering most of the biochemical functions of bacterial cells, indicating that there were complex physiological mechanisms involved in L. monocytogenes tolerance of bile stress. Among them, 16, 14, and 18 proteins were expressed differently in the isogenic deletion mutants of L. monocytogenes EGDΔsigB, EGDΔprfA, and EGDΔprfAΔsigB, respectively, compared with their parent strain EGD at corresponding concentrations of bile salts. All proteins identified in EGDΔsigB and EGDΔprfAΔsigB were all down-expressed in the presence of bile salts, whereas several proteins were up-expressed in EGDΔprfA, in particular at the high level of bile (3 %), indicating that SigB plays an essential positive role in L. monocytogenes tolerance of bile stress and that the negative effect of PrfA may facilitate its survival in bile in the gastrointestinal tract before its successful colonization and invasion. © 2012 Springer-Verlag and the University of Milan.

油炸食品儿童应少吃

瑞典科学家研究发现,碳水化合物食物经过烧烤、油炸,会生成具有致癌作用的丙烯酰胺。此后,英国、法国、美国等国家进行的试验和检测,都得出相同的结论。2005年4月,我国卫生部也发布“慎食含淀粉类的油炸食品”的公告,提示淀粉类食品在大于120。C的高温烹调下容易产生丙烯酰胺,可能会危害人体健康。建议公众尽可能避免连续长时间或高温烹饪淀粉类食品,以减少丙烯酰胺的摄入。

Listeria monocytogenes is a food-borne bacterial pathogen and the causative agent of human and animal listeriosis. Among the three major genetic lineages of L. monocytogenes (i.e., LI, LII, and LIII), LI and LII are predominantly associated with food-borne listeriosis outbreaks, whereas LIII is rarely implicated in human infections. In a previous study, we identified a Crp/Fnr family transcription factor gene, lmo0753, that was highly specific to outbreak-associated LI and LII but absent from LIII. Lmo0753 shares two conserved functional domains, including a DNA binding domain, with the well-characterized master virulence regulator PrfA in L. monocytogenes. In this study, we constructed lmo0753 deletion and complementation mutants in two fully sequenced L. monocytogenes LII strains, 10403S and EGDe, and compared the flagellar motility, phospholipase C production, hemolysis, and intracellular growth of the mutants and their respective wild types. Our results suggested that lmo0753 plays a role in hemolytic activity in both EGDe and 10403S. More interestingly, we found that deletion of lmo0753 led to the loss of L-rhamnose utilization in EGDe, but not in 10403S. RNA-seq analysis of EGDe δ0753 incubated in phenol red medium containing L-rhamnose as the sole carbon source revealed that 126 (4.5%) and 546 (19.5%) out of 2,798 genes in the EGDe genome were up- and downregulated more than 2-fold, respectively, compared to the wild-type strain. Genes related to biotin biosynthesis, general stress response, and rhamnose metabolism were shown to be differentially regulated. Findings from this study collectively suggested varied functional roles of lmo0753 in different LII L. monocytogenes strain backgrounds associated with human listeriosis outbreaks. ©2013, American Society for Microbiology. The foodborne pathogen Listeria monocytogenes has the ability to develop biofilm in the food-processing environment, which becomes a major concern for food safety. PrfA, a key transcriptional activator that regulates most of the known listerial virulence gene expression, has been shown to promote L. monocytogenes biofilm formation. In this study, the whole-genome microarray was used to identify differentially expressed genes associated with the putative interaction between biofilm formation and PrfA in L. monocytogenes. Comparative transcriptome analyses indicated that over 21.9 % of the L. monocytogenes EGDe genes (627 out of 2,857 predicted) were altered in their expression of biofilm compared to the planktonic phase. These genes were classified into different functional categories which cover most of the biochemical functions encountered in bacterial cells, indicating that L. monocytogenes biofilm formation is probably controlled by a complex regulation network involved in variable genes required for the different biological pathways. Further comparison of gene expression profiles of biofilms between L. monocytogenes EGDe and its PrfA deletion mutant revealed 185 genes associated with PrfA and biofilm formation. Except for 10 genes, transcription levels of 175 genes were completely opposite between ΔprfA and wild-type during the biofilm formation, i.e., up-regulated genes in ΔprfA were down-regulated in the wild-type strain, and vice versa, indicating that loss of PrfA dramatically altered gene expression patterns in L. monocytogenes biofilm and resulted in reduced ability of the biofilm formation. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York.

Listeria monocytogenes (LM), a Gram-positive facultative intracellular bacterium, can be used as an effective exogenous antigen expression vector in tumor-target therapy. But for successful clinical application, it is necessary to construct attenuated LM stain that is safe yet retains the potency of LM based on the full virulent pathogen. In this study, attenuated LM and recombinants of LM expressing melanoma inhibitory activity (MIA) were constructed successfully. The median lethal dose (LD50) and invasion efficiency of attenuated LM strains were detected. The recombinants were utilized for immunotherapy of animal model of B16F10 melanoma. The level of MIA mRNA expression in tumor tissue was detected by using real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with specific sequence, meanwhile the anti-tumor immune response was assayed by flow cytometric analysis and enzyme-linked immunosorbent spot (ELISPOT) assay. The results showed the toxicity and invasiveness of attenuated LM were decreased as compared with LM, and attenuated LM expressing MIA, especially the double-genes attenuated LM recombinant, could significantly induce anti-tumor immune response and inhibit tumor growth. This study implicates attenuated LM may be a safer and more effective vector for immunotherapy of melanoma.

<正>假日来临,铁路、公路客运又将迎来高峰。不少乘车者常常会出现晕车、晕船和晕飞机的现象。此外,利用假期去游乐场玩各种惊险游戏的年轻人也比较多,虽然娱乐时很刺激,但从游乐机器上下来时往往会头晕目眩、呕吐不止,这就是我们常说的晕动病。晕动病又称运动病,多发生在乘坐车、船、飞机,或玩游乐设施时,与调节人体位置平衡的器官——前庭器官过分敏感有关。不习惯的气味、体质虚弱、疲劳、睡眠不足、闷热、饱食等,是晕动病的诱发或加重因素。主要表现为植物神经系统功能紊乱,出现眩晕、恶心、呕吐、面色苍白、出冷汗、流涎、嗜睡等症状。小儿也会患晕动病,可能与其神经系统、前庭功能不完善、缺少体育活动有关。
