The production of HΛ3 and H¯Λ¯3 , as well as H3, H¯3, He3 , and H¯e3 are studied in central collisions of isobars Ru4496+Ru4496 and Zr4096+Zr4096 at sNN=200 GeV, using the dynamically constrained phase-space coalescence model and the paciae model with chiral magnetic effect. The yield, yield ratio, coalescence parameters, and strangeness population factor of (anti-)hypertriton and (anti-)nuclei produced in isobaric Ru4496+Ru4496 and Zr4096+Zr4096 collisions are predicted. The (anti-)hypertriton and (anti-)nuclei production is found to be insensitive to the chiral magnetic effects. Experimental data of Cu+Cu, Au+Au, and Pb+Pb collisions from RHIC, LHC, and the results of the paciae + dcpc model are presented in the results for comparison.

摘要:
We propose a forward method based on PYTHIA6.4 to study the jet properties in ultra-relativistic pp collisions.In the forward method,the partonic initial states are first generated with PYTHIA6.4 and then hadronized in the Lund string fragmentation model,and finally the hadronic jets are constructed from the created hadrons.Jet properties calculated with the forward method for pp collisions at √s=7 TeV are comparable to those calculated with the usual anti-kt algorithm (backward method) in PYTHIA6.4.The comparison between the backward and forward methods may contribute to the understanding of the partonic origin of jets in the backward method.

The production of strange particles Xi(+)(c), K- is simulated in pp collisions at root s = 7 TeV at mid-rapidity with 0.2 <= P-T <= 6 GeV/c using the PACIAE model. The results are consistent with LHCb experimental data on Xi(+)(c) and K- yield. Then, a dynamically constrained phase-space coalescence model plus PACIAE model was used to produce the Xi K-+(c)- bound states and study the narrow excited Omega(0)(c) states through Omega(0)(c) -> Xi K-+(c)- in pp collisions at root s = 7 and 13 TeV. The yield, transverse momentum distribution, and rapidity distribution of the five new excited Omega(0)(c) states of Omega(c)(3000)(0), Omega(c)(3050)(0), Omega(c)(3066)(0), Omega(c)(3090)(0), and Omega(c)(3119)(0) were predicted.

The production of light (anti)nuclei is investigated using the dynamically constrained phase-space coalescence model based on the final-state hadrons generated by the PACIAE model in Cu+Cu collisions at $ \sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}=200$ GeV with $ \vert\eta\vert < 0.5$ and $ 0 < p_{T} < 8$ GeV/c. The results show that there is a strong centrality dependence of yields of d, $ \overline{d}$, 3He, ${}^{3}\overline{\mathrm{He}}$, 4He, and ${}^{4}\overline{\mathrm{He}}$, i.e., their yields decrease rapidly with the increase of centrality, and the greater the mass, the greater the dependence, whereas their ratios of antinucleus to nucleus remain constant as the centrality increases. The coalescence parameter $ B_{A}$ lightly decreases with the increasing of $ N_{part}$. In addition, the yields of (anti)nuclei are strongly dependent on the mass of the (anti)nuclei, indicating that the (anti)nuclei produced have mass scaling properties in high-energy heavy-ion collisions. Our results are consistent with the STAR experimental data.

The production of charged particles K±,p, and p¯ is simulated using the paciae model at scaled midrapidity |y|<0.5 in proton-proton collisions at s=7 TeV. The simulation results are consistent with ALICE experimental data on K±,p, and p¯ yield, with the transverse momentum of kaon at 0.2–6 GeV/ c and proton at 0.3–6 GeV/ c. Furthermore, the production of K−pp and K+p¯p¯ is predicted in the dynamically constrained phase-space coalescence (dcpc) model, based on the hadronic final states produced in the paciae model. It is found that the yield of K−pp is around 5×10−4, much larger than the yield of the K+p¯p¯ following the hypothesis that K−pp and K+p¯p¯ are formed in the way that a K−(K+) traps two protons (antiprotons) directly, without going through the so-called Λ*p doorway state.

Production of the (anti)hypertriton nuclei HΛ3 and H¯Λ¯3 in Cu+Cu interactions at sNN=200 GeV is studied in three centrality bins of 0–10%, 10–30%, and 30–60% using the dynamically constrained phase-space coalescence model together with paciae model simulations. They are compared with H3(H¯3) and He3(He¯3) nuclei. It is indicated by the study that the yields of light nuclei and hypernuclei increase rapidly from peripheral to central collisions while their antiparticle-to-particle ratios remain unchanged for different centrality bins. The strangeness population factor S3=(HΛ3/He3)/(Λ/p) was found to be close to unity, and was compatible with the STAR data and theoretical model calculations, suggesting that the phase-space population of strange quarks is similar to the ones of light quarks and the creation of deconfined high-temperature quark matter in Cu+Cu collisions.

The energy dependence of light (anti)nuclei and (anti)hypertriton production are investigated in central Au-Au collisions from AGS up to LHC energies at midrapidity, using the parton and hadron cascade model (PACIAE) together with the dynamically constrained phase-space coalescence model(DCPC). We find that the yields, yield ratios of the antiparticles to their corresponding particles, the coalescence parameters
$B_A$
and the strangeness population factor
$s_3$
of light (anti)nuclei and (anti)hypertriton all show strong dependences on the energy. Furthermore, we analyze and discuss the strangeness population factor
$s_3$
and the coalescence parameters
$B_A$
, and find a transition point near 20 GeV. These results thus suggest, in relativistic heavy-ion collisions, the potential usefulness of the
$s_3$
and
$B_A$
of light nuclei production as an indirect probe of the transition point related to the QCD critical phenomena. The results from PACIAE+DCPC model are well consistent with experimental data within the error margin.

We present a systematic study of the strange particle production at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in proton-proton ( pp) collisions at s=7TeV based on paciae simulations. Two different mechanisms accounting for single string structure variations and multiple string interactions are implemented in the simulations. These modifications give rise to increased effective string tension in the Lund fragmentation model and generate more strange particles in the hadronic final state. By comparing the results with a wealth of the LHC data, we find that the inclusion of variable effective string tension yields an improved agreement between theory and experiment, especially for the recently observed multiplicity dependence of strangeness enhancement in pp collisions. This approach provides us a new method to understand the microscopic picture of the novel high multiplicity pp events collected at the LHC in the string fragmentation framework.

We study the production of charged particles ( K+, K−, p, and p¯) in proton-proton ( pp) collisions at s=0.9TeV within the paciae model whose parameters we fix by comparing the yield of charged particles with experimental data from ALICE. We analyze the production of K−p and K+p¯ bound states with the paciae+dcpc model. Results of our work indicate that in pp collisions at s=0.9TeV the Λ(1405) and its antiparticle may be produced at almost the same rate if the Λ(1405) is a K−p bound state formed during the hadron rescattering period. The combined yield of K−p and K+p¯ bound states is found to be of the order of 10−3, but the experimental results indicate that the combined yield of Λ(1405)+Λ¯(1405) is of the order of 10−2 if Λ(1405) is a standard three-quark baryon. Since there are no experimental data available on this observable at present, our work may provide a guide for future experiments.

We use a two-dimensional electrostatic model to explore Van der Pauw (VdP) method on samples with holes. Results of electrostatic simulation based on the model are consistent with the experimental results. The quantitative investigation of VdP method on sample with one hole indicate the value of f, i.e. the right hand side of VdP equation, is depend on the position of contacts and the size of holes. We also quantitatively explore the VdP method used on sample with two holes in special position of contacts and sample geometry. According to the guidance of simulation and experiment, we find proper position of contacts, which make VdP equation f = 1 valid again on sample with holes. It is helpful for the optimization of VdP method and measuring the resistivity of sample with holes. (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

The parton and hadron cascade model PACIAE 2.1 (cf. Comput. Phys. Commun. 184 (2013) 1476) has been upgraded to the new issue of PACIAE 2.2. By this new issue the lepton nucleon and lepton nucleus (inclusive) deep inelastic scatterings can also be investigated. As an example, the PACIAE 2.2 model is enabled to calculate the specific charged hadron multiplicity in the e(-)+p and e(-)+D semi-inclusive deep-inelastic scattering at 27.6 GeV electron beam energy. The calculated results are well comparing with the corresponding HERMES data. Additionally, the effect of model parameters alpha and beta in the Lund string fragmentation function on the multiplicity is studied. Unfortunately, the PACIAE 2.1 model is unable to describe the lepton nucleon and lepton nucleus DIS (SIDIS), the corresponding upgrade is highly required. Solution method: The parton and hadron cascade model of PACIAE 2.1 is upgraded to PACIAE 2.2 with the possibility of investigating the lepton-nucleon and lepton-nucleus DIS (SIDIS). In the PACIAE 2.2 model the lepton-nucleon and lepton-nucleus DIS are treated the same as proton-nucleon and proton-nucleus collisions in PACIAE 2.1, respectively. However, the lepton-nucleon DIS cross section is used instead of the nucleon-nucleon cross section in the initiation stage of the PACIAE model. Reasons for new version: In order that the PACIAE 2.2 model is now also able to simulate the lepton-nucleon and lepton-nucleus DIS. Summary of revisions: In the PACIAE 2.2 model the lepton-nucleon and lepton-nucleus DIS are dealt in the same way as the proton-nucleon and proton-nucleus collisions in PACIAE 2.1, respectively. However, the lepton-nucleon DIS cross section is employed instead of nucleon-nucleon cross section. Restrictions: Depend on the problem studied. Running time: PACIAE 2.2 has three versions of PACIAE 2.2a, 2.2b, and 2.2c. PACIAE 2.2a is for the elementary collision, such as pp, pp, and e(+)e(-) collisions, as well as the lepton-nucleon DIS, with input file of usux.dat. PACIAE 2.2b and PACIAE 2.2c are for the nuclear-nucleus collision of p+A and A+B as well as the lepton-nucleus DIS with input file of usu.dat. PACIAE 2.2b and 2.2c are similar in the physical contents but are different in the topological structure (see text for the details). Using the attached input file of usux.dat to run 1000 events for the root s = 200 GeV Non Single Diffractive pp collision by PACIAE 2.2a takes 0.5 min. Using the attached input file of usu.dat to run 10 events for the 10%-40% most central Au + Au collisions at root sNN = 200 GeV by PACIAE 2.2b takes 4 min.
