The natural water has frequency dispersion and its permittivity is also related to temperature, which are important factors to design temperature insensitive absorber at microwave frequency. Here, a water-based metamaterial absorber which is fabricated by 3D-printing is proposed. The absorber can perform stably at different temperatures and it also shows 90% absorption in the frequency range of 7.9-21.7 GHz. The experiment proves that the absorber can work at a wide incident angle and is polarization insensitive. Based on these features, the water-based absorber could be applied to various electromagnetic scenarios such as stealth technology and electromagnetic compatibility in temperature-variable environment. A search for the
$$ {\Xi}_{cc}^{++} $$
baryon through the
$$ {\Xi}_{cc}^{++} $$
→ D+pK−π+ decay is performed with a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.7 fb−1 recorded by the LHCb experiment in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. No significant signal is observed in the mass range from the kinematic threshold of the decay to 3800 MeV/c2. An upper limit is set on the ratio of branching fractions
$$ \mathrm{\mathcal{R}}=\frac{\mathrm{\mathcal{B}}\left({\Xi}_{cc}^{++}\to {D}^{+}{pK}^{-}{\pi}^{+}\right)}{\mathrm{\mathcal{B}}\left({\Xi}_{cc}^{++}\to {\Lambda}_c^{+}{K}^{-}{\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{+}\right)} $$
with ℛ < 1.7 (2.1) × 10−2 at the 90% (95%) confidence level at the known mass of the
$$ {\Xi}_{cc}^{++} $$
state.

The production fraction of the B-c(-) meson with respect to the sum of B- and (B) over bar (0) mesons is measured in both 7 and 13 TeV center-of-mass (c.m.) energy pp collisions produced by the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), using the LHCb detector. The rate, approximately 3.7 per mine, does not change with energy, but shows a transverse momentum dependence. The B-c(-) - B-c(+) production asymmetry is also measured and is consistent with zero within the determined statistical and systematic uncertainties of a few percent.

The
$$ {B}^0\to {K}^{\ast 0}{\overline{K}}^{\ast 0} $$
and
$$ {B}_s^0\to {K}^{\ast 0}{\overline{K}}^{\ast 0} $$
decays are studied using proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb−1. An untagged and timeintegrated amplitude analysis of B
()
0
→ (K+π−)(K−π+) decays in two-body invariant mass regions of 150 MeV/c2 around the K∗0 mass is performed. A stronger longitudinal polarisation fraction in the
$$ {B}^0\to {K}^{\ast 0}{\overline{K}}^{\ast 0} $$
decay, fL = 0.724 ± 0.051 (stat) ± 0.016 (syst), is observed as compared to fL = 0.240 ± 0.031 (stat) ± 0.025 (syst) in the
$$ {B}_s^0\to {K}^{\ast 0}{\overline{K}}^{\ast 0} $$
decay. The ratio of branching fractions of the two decays is measured and used to determine
$$ \mathrm{\mathcal{B}}\left({B}^0\to {K}^{\ast 0}{\overline{K}}^{\ast 0}\right)=\left(8.0\pm 0.9\left(\mathrm{stat}\right)\pm 0.4\left(\mathrm{syst}\right)\right)\times {10}^{-7} $$

The production fractions of (B) over bar (0)(s) and Lambda(0)(b) hadrons, normalized to the sum of B- and (B) over bar (0) fractions, arc measured in 13 TeV pp collisions using data collected by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.67 fb(-1). These ratios, averaged over the b hadron transverse momenta from 4 to 25 GeV and pseudorapidity from 2 to 5, are 0.122 +/- 0.006 for (B) over bar (0)(s) and 0.259 +/- 0.018 for Lambda(0)(b) where the uncertainties arise from both statistical and systematic sources. The Lambda(0)(b) ratio depends strongly on transverse momentum, while the (B) over bar (0)(s) ratio shows a mild dependence. Neither ratio shows variations with pseudorapidity. The measurements are made using semileptonic decays to minimize theoretical uncertainties. In addition, the ratio of D+ to D-0 mesons produced in the sum of (B) over bar (0) and B- semileptonic decays is determined as 0.359 +/- 0.006 +/- 0.009, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic.

A measurement of the time-dependent CP-violating asymmetry in
$$ {B}_s^0\to \phi \phi $$
decays is presented. Using a sample of proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.0 fb−1 collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies
$$ \sqrt{s} $$
= 7 TeV in 2011, 8 TeV in 2012 and 13 TeV in 2015 and 2016, a signal yield of around 9000
$$ {B}_s^0\to \phi \phi $$
decays is obtained. The CP-violating phase
$$ {\phi}_s^{s\overline{s}s} $$
is measured to be −0.073 ± 0.115(stat) ± 0.027(syst) rad, under the assumption it is independent of the helicity of the ϕϕ decay. In addition, the CP-violating phases of the transverse polarisations under the assumption of CP conservation of the longitudinal phase are measured. The helicity-independent direct CP-violation parameter is also measured, and is found to be |λ| = 0.99 ± 0.05(stat) ± 0.01(syst). In addition, T-odd triple-product asymmetries are measured. The results obtained are consistent with the hypothesis of CP conservation in
$$ \overline{b}\to \overline{s}s\overline{s}s $$
transitions. Finally, a limit on the branching fraction of the B0 → ϕϕ decay is determined to be
$$ \mathcal{B}\left({B}^0\to \phi \phi \right)<2.7\times {10}^{-8} $$
at 90 % confidence level.

Asearch forCP violation in charmless four-body decays of Lambda(0)(b) and Xi(0)(b) baryons with a proton and three charged mesons in the final state is performed. To cancel out production and detection charge-asymmetry effects, the search is carried out by measuring the difference between the CP asymmetries in a charmless decay and in a decay with an intermediate charmed baryon with the same particles in the final state. The data sample used was recorded in 2011 and 2012 with the LHCb detector and corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1). A total of 18 CP asymmetries are considered, either accounting for the full phase space of the decays or exploring specific regions of the decay kinematics. No significant CP-violation effect is observed in any of the measurements.

A measurement of the charm-mixing parameter y_{CP} using D^{0}-->K^{+}K^{-}, D^{0}-->pi^{+}pi^{-}, and D^{0}-->K^{-}pi^{+} decays is reported. The D^{0} mesons are required to originate from semimuonic decays of B^{-} and B[over ]^{0} mesons. These decays are partially reconstructed in a data set of proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV collected with the LHCb experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb^{-1}. The y_{CP} parameter is measured to be (0.57+/-0.13(stat)+/-0.09(syst))%, in agreement with, and as precise as, the current world-average value.

The branching fractions of the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed decays D+ → K−K+K+, D+ → π−π+K+ and D
+
→ π−K+K+ are measured using the decays D+ → K−π+π+ and D
+
→ K−K+π+ as normalisation channels. The measurements are performed using proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.0 fb−1. The results are

where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. These are the most precise measurements up to date.
