Using a data sample of pp collisions corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb(-1), the Xi(-)(b) and Omega(-)(b) baryons are reconstructed in the Xi(-)(b) -> J/psi Xi(-) and Omega(-)(b) -> J/psi Omega(-) decay modes and their lifetimes measured to be tau(Xi(-)(b)) = 1.55(-0.09)(+0.10) (stat) +/- 0.03 (syst) ps, tau(Omega(-)(b)) = 1.54(-0.21)(+0.26) (stat) +/- 0.05 (syst) ps. These are the most precise determinations to date. Both measurements are in good agreement with previous experimental results and with theoretical predictions. (C) 2014 The Authors. An angular analysis of the decay B
0 → ϕK
*(892)0 is reported based on a pp collision data sample, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb−1, collected at a centre-of-mass energy of
$ \sqrt{s} $
= 7 TeV with the LHCb detector. The P-wave amplitudes and phases are measured with a greater precision than by previous experiments, and confirm about equal amounts of longitudinal and transverse polarization. The S-wave K
+
π
− and K
+
K
− contributions are taken into account and found to be significant. A comparison of the B
0 → ϕK
*(892)0 and
$ {{\overline{B}}^0}\to \phi {{\overline{K}}^{*}}{{\left( {892} \right)}^0} $
results shows no evidence for direct CP violation in the rate asymmetry, in the triple-product asymmetries or in the polarization amplitudes and phases.

STAR measurements of dihadron azimuthal correlations (Lambda phi) are reported in midcentral (20-60%) Au + Au collisions at v root sNN = 200 GeV as a function of the trigger particle's azimuthal angle relative to the event plane, phi(s) = | phi(1) -psi(EP)|. The elliptic (v(2)), triangular (v(3)), and quadratic (v(4)) flow harmonic backgrounds are subtracted using the zero yield at mini + Au collisions. It is found that a finite near-side (| Delta phi | < pi/2) long-range pseudorapidity correlation (ridge) is present in the in-plane direction (phi(s) similar to 0). The away-side (| Delta phi | > pi/2) correlation shows a modification from d+ Au data, varying with fs. The modification may be a consequence of path-length-dependent jet quenching and may lead to a better understanding of high-density QCD.

The (B) over bar (0)-B-0 and (B) over bar (0)(s)-B-s(0) production asymmetries, A(P)(B-0) and A(P)(B-s(0)), are measured by means of a time-dependent analysis of B-0 -> J/Psi K-*0, B-0 -> D-pi(+) and B-s(0) -> D-s(-)pi(+) decays, using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb(-1), collected by LHCb in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. The measurements are performed as a function of transverse momentum and pseudorapidity of the B-0 and B-s(0) mesons within the LHCb acceptance. The production asymmetries, integrated over p(T) and eta in the range 4 < p(T) < 30 GeV/c and 2.5 < eta < 4.5, are determined to be A(P)(B-0) = (-0.35 +/- 0.76 +/- 0.28)% and A(P)(B-s(0)) = (1.09 +/- 2.61 +/- 0.66)%, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. The direct CP asymmetries of the decays B
0 → K
*0
μ
+
μ
−
and B
+ → K
+
μ
+
μ
−
are measured using pp collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb−1 collected with the LHCb detector. The respective control modes B
0 → J/ψK
*0 and B
+ → J/ψK
+ are used to account for detection and production asymmetries. The measurements are made in several intervals of μ
+
μ
−
invariant mass squared, with the ϕ(1020) and charmonium resonance regions excluded. Under the hypothesis of zero CP asymmetry in the control modes, the average values of the asymmetries are
$$ \begin{array}{c}\hfill {\mathcal{A}}_{CP}\left({B}^0\to {K}^{*0}{\mu}^{+}{\mu}^{-}\right)=-0.035\pm 0.024\pm 0.003,\hfill \\ {}\hfill {\mathcal{A}}_{CP}\left({B}^{+}\to {K}^{+}{\mu}^{+}{\mu}^{-}\right)=0.012\pm 0.017\pm 0.001,\hfill \end{array} $$
where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are due to systematic effects. Both measurements are consistent with the Standard Model prediction of small CP asymmetry in these decays.

Time-integrated CP asymmetries in D
0 decays to the final states K
−
K
+ and π
−
π
+ are measured using proton-proton collisions corresponding to 3fb−1 of integrated luminosity collected at centre-of-mass energies of 7 TeV and 8 TeV. The D
0 mesons are produced in semileptonic b-hadron decays, where the charge of the accompanying muon is used to determine the initial flavour of the charm meson. The difference in CP asymmetries between the two final states is measured to be
$$ \varDelta {A}_{\mathrm{CP}}={A}_{\mathrm{CP}}\left({K}^{-}{K}^{+}\right)-{A}_{\mathrm{CP}}\left({\pi}^{-}{\pi}^{+}\right)=\left(+0.14 \pm 0.16\ \left(\mathrm{stat}\right)\pm 0.08\left(\mathrm{syst}\right)\right)\%. $$
A measurement of A
CP (K
−
K
+) is obtained assuming negligible CP violation in charm mixing and in Cabibbo-favoured D decays. It is found to be
$$ {A}_{\mathrm{CP}}\left({K}^{-}{K}^{+}\right)=\left(-0.06\pm 0.15\left(\mathrm{stat}\right)\pm 0.10\left(\mathrm{syst}\right)\right)\%, $$
where the correlation coefficient between ΔA
CP
and A
CP
(K
−
K
+) is ρ = 0.28. By combining these results, the CP asymmetry in the D
0 → π
−
π
+ channel is A
CP
(π
−
π
+) = (−0.20 ± 0.19 (stat) ± 0.10 (syst))%.

(′) =K, π) are searched for in proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb−1 recorded with the LHCb detector. The first observation of the B

→ J/ψK
S

K
±
π
∓ decay is reported, with significance in excess of 10 standard deviations. The B
0 → J/ψK
S
0
K
+
K
− decay is also observed for the first time. The branching fraction of B
0 → J/ψK
S
0
π
+
π
− is determined, to significantly better precision than previous measurements, using B
0 → J/ψK
S
0
as a normalisation channel. Branching fractions and upper limits of the other B
()
0
→ J/ψK
S
0
h
+
h
(′) − modes are determined relative to that of the B
0 → J/ψK
S
0
π
+
π
− decay.

The angular distributions of the rare decays B+ -> K+mu(+)mu(-) and B-0 -> K-S(0)mu(+)mu(-) are studied with data corresponding to 3 fb(-1) of integrated luminosity, collected in proton-proton collisions at 7 and 8 TeV centre-of-mass energies with the LHCb detector. The angular distribution is described by two parameters, F-H and the forward-backward asymmetry of the dimuon system A(FB), which are determined in bins of the dimuon mass squared. The parameter F-H is a measure of the contribution from (pseudo)scalar and tensor amplitudes to the decay width. The measurements of A(FB) and F-H reported here are the most precise to date and are compatible with predictions from the Standard Model.

− decays are measured as functions of the dimuon mass squared, q
2. The data used correspond to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb−1 from proton-proton collisions collected with the LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies of 7 TeV and 8 TeV in 2011 and 2012, respectively. The isospin asymmetries are both consistent with the Standard Model expectations. The three measured branching fractions favour lower values than their respective theoretical predictions, however they are all individually consistent with the Standard Model.

The kinematic dependences of the relative production rates,

, of Λ
0
baryons and B
0 mesons are measured using Λ
0
→ Λ
+
π
− and
$$ {\overline{B}}^0\ \to {D}^{+}{\pi}^{-} $$
decays. The measurements use proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1 fb−1 at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV, recorded in the forward region with the LHCb experiment. The relative production rates are observed to depend on the transverse momentum, p
T, and pseudorapidity, η, of the beauty hadron, in the studied kinematic region 1.5 < p
T
< 40 GeV/c and 2 < η < 5. Using a previous LHCb measurement of
$$ {f}_{\varLambda_b^0}/{f}_d $$
in semileptonic decays, the branching fraction ℬ(Λ
0
→ Λ
+
π
−) = (4.30 ± 0.03
− 0.11
+ 0.12
± 0.26 ± 0.21) × 10− 3 is obtained, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, the third is from the previous LHCb measurement of
$$ {f}_{\varLambda_b^0}/{f}_d $$
and the fourth is due to the b
$$ {\overline{B}}^0\ \to {D}^{+}{\pi}^{-} $$
branching fraction. This is the most precise measurement of a Λ
0
branching fraction to date.
摘要：
Flexible solid-state symmetric supercapacitor was fabricated using MnO2 nanofilms growing directly on carbon cloth as the electrodes and PVA/H3PO4 gel as the electrolyte/separator. The device can be operated at a stable cell-voltage up to 1.4 V, obviously larger than that of conventional solid-state symmetric supercapacitors (≤1 V). It exhibited excellent rate capability with a scan rate as high as 20 V s−1 and a long cyclability (∼60000 cycles) even under severe mechanical deformation. The charge storage mechanism at different scan rates was also quantitatively analyzed.

This paper reports results for directed flow v(1) and elliptic flow v(2) of charged particles in Cu + Cu collisions at root s(NN) = 22.4 GeV at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The measurements are for the 0-60% most central collisions, using charged particles observed in the STAR detector. Our measurements extend to 22.4-GeV Cu + Cu collisions the prior observation that v1 is independent of the system size at 62.4 and 200 GeV and also extend the scaling of v(1) with eta/y(beam) to this system. The measured v(2)(p(T)) in Cu + Cu collisions is similar for root s(NN) throughout the range 22.4 to 200 GeV. We also report a comparison with results from transport model (ultrarelativistic quantum molecular dynamics and multiphase transport model) calculations. The model results do not agree quantitatively with the measured v(1)(eta), v(2)(p(T)), and v(2)(eta).

Two-particle azimuthal (Delta phi) and pseudorapidity (Delta eta) correlations using a trigger particle with large transverse momentum (p(T)) in d+Au, Cu+Cu, and Au+Au collisions at root s(NN) = 62.4 GeV and 200 GeV from the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider are presented. The near-side correlation is separated into a jet-like component, narrow in both Delta phi and Delta eta, and the ridge, narrow in Delta phi but broad in Delta eta. Both components are studied as a function of collision centrality, and the jet-like correlation is studied as a function of the trigger and associated p(T). The behavior of the jet-like component is remarkably consistent for different collision systems, suggesting it is produced by fragmentation. The width of the jet-like correlation is found to increase with the system size. The ridge, previously observed in Au+Au collisions at root s(NN) = 200 GeV, is also found in Cu+Cu collisions and in collisions at root s(NN) = 62.4 GeV, but is found to be substantially smaller at root s(NN) = 62.4 GeV than at root s(NN) = 200 GeV for the same average number of participants (< N-part >). Measurements of the ridge are compared to models.
