为了阐明教育发展的历史与规律,中国教育史研究一直注重精英思想与制度形成,而忽视了教育中的人及其活动本身.教育史学的理论品性不断地得到提升,却对当代教育实践的变革缺乏足够的关注.实践品性视域下的中国教育史研究,强调教育史研究在对当代教育生活的关注中理解教育变革的历程,重新确立入及其活动在教育历史中的主体地位.走向生活的中国教育史研究,意味着教育史研究视线的下移、研究范式的变革和表述方式的更新.教育口述史作为实践品性视域下教育史研究的一种形态,正日益广泛地运用于教育史研究实践中.

The researches of the Chinese educational history have focused on the elite ideology with regard to the historical development. However, educational practice and specific activities are less attended to. While the theoretical studies become more significant, the researches of the contemporary educational practices are to be enhanced.
