Three cadmium(II) coordination compounds were synthesized via controlling the pH in the in situ [2 + 3] cycloaddition reaction of CdSO4, 4-cyanopyridine, and sodium azide under hydrothermal treatment. Mononuclear 3 was obtained at weak acid solution pH 6.0 similar to 7.0, but 3-D coordination polymers 1 and 2 were preferred in weak alkaline conditions from pH 7.0 to 9.0. Hydrothermal reactions of CdSO4, 4-cyanopyridine, and sodium azide yield three metal coordination compounds via controlling the pH, [Cd-2(4-ptz)(SO4)(OH)(H2O)(2)](H2O) (1) [Cd-2(4-ptz)(SO4)(OH)(H2O)](n) (2), and known [Cd-2(4-ptz)(2)(H2O)(4)](H2O)(2) (3) (4-ptz=5-(4-pyridyl)tetrazole). The in situ [2+3] cycloaddition reaction of nitrile and azide in the presence of Cd(II) produces the multidentate 4-ptz in these compounds. X-ray diffraction results indicate that metal centers in 1 are linked by 4-ptz(-), and OH- in their respective (5)-, (2)-, (3)-bridging modes, forming a 3-D coordination polymer. For 2, although the same raw materials are used, the component anions are linked to Cd(II) centers in completely different ways, i.e. for 4-ptz(-) in (3)-, n (5)-, and OH- in (3)-bridging modes, forming another 3-D coordination network. Thermal stabilities and photoluminescent properties of 1 and 2 have also been investigated.

A three-dimensional quantitative structure–activity relationship (3D-QSAR) study was performed on two different chemical series, which have great herbicidal activity, employing comparative molecular field analysis (CoMFA) and comparative molecular similarity indices (CoMSIA) techniques to further investigate the structural requirement for the dicotyledonous stem inhibition. The optimal CoMFA and CoMSIA models obtained for the training set were all statistically significant with cross-validated coefficients (q2) of 0.702, 0.726 and conventional coefficients (R2) of 0.980, 0.963, respectively. These models were validated by a set of six molecules that were not included in the training set. The CoMFA yielded comparable models for phosphonate and phosphinate derivatives highlighting the significance of steric and electrostatic fields toward dicotyledonous stem inhibitory activity. The CoMSIA models indicated the importance of electrostatic and hydrophobic fields toward dicotyledonous stem inhibitory activity. The CoMSIA steric and electrostatic field maps are in accordance with field distribution of CoMFA maps and consistent with structure–activity relationships.

Fifteen novel 2-alkylamino-3-aryl-8-cyano-5-methyl-7-(methylthio)-pyrido[4,3-d]pyrimidin-4(3H)-ones 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d, 6e, 6f, 6g, 6h, 6i, 6j, 6k, 6l, 6m, 6n, 6o were designed and have been successfully synthesized via tandem aza-Wittig and annulation reactions with the corresponding iminophosphoranes 4, aryl isocyanate, and amines in good yields. Their structures were clearly verified by IR spectroscopy, 1H-NMR spectroscopy, EI-MS, and elemental analysis, and in the case of compound 6i, further analyzed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The preliminary results of an in vivo bioassay showed that some compounds display moderate antifungal activity.

摘要:
Let {cn}∞ n=1 be a sequence of complex numbers. In this paper we answer when the range of Σ ∞ n=1 ±cn is dense or equal to the complex plane. Some examples are given to explain our results. As its application, we calculate the Hausdorff dimension of the level sets of a Rademacher series with complex coefficients.

In this paper, we study the existence of multiple solutions to the following nonlinear elliptic boundary value problem of p-Laplacian type: {-Delta(p)u = f(x,u), x is an element of Omega, u = 0, x is an element of partial derivative Omega, where 1 < p < infinity, Omega subset of R-N is a bounded smooth domain, Delta(p)u = div (vertical bar Du vertical bar(p-2)Du) is the p-Laplacian of u and f: Omega x R -> R satisfies lim(vertical bar t vertical bar ->infinity) f(x, t)/vertical bar t vertical bar(p-2)t = l uniformly with respect to x is an element of Omega, and l is not an eigenvalue of -Delta(p) in W-0(1,p)(Omega) but f(x, t) dose not satisfy the Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz condition. Under suitable assumptions on f (x, t), we have proved that (*) has at least four nontrivitial solutions in W-0(1,p) (Omega) by using Nonsmooth Mountain-Pass Theorem under (C)(c) condition. Our main result generalizes a result by N. S. Papageorgiou, E. M. Rocha and V. Staicu in 2008 (Calculus of Variations and Partial Differential Equations, 33: 199-230(2008)) and a result by G. B. Li and H. S. Zhou in 2002 (Journal of the London Mathematical Society, 65: 123-138(2002)).

Let A be an abelian group with vertical bar A vertical bar >= 4. Suppose that G is a 3-edge-connected simple graph on n >= 19 vertices. We show in this paper that if max{d(x), d(y),d(z)} >= n/6 for every 3-independent vertices {x, y, z} of G, then either G is A-connected or G can be T-reduced to the Petersen graph, which generalizes the result of Zhang and Li (Graphs and Combin., 30 (2014), 1055-1063).

Two macrocyclic compounds containing propargylamine backbone have been synthesised via Mannich three-component reaction. The macrocycle 3a shows the intramolecular self-folding conformation. The macrocycle 3b self-assembles via multiple weak interactions to form a multiple double-helical system, which shows the alternate helical handedness.

Reactions of the diorganotin(IV) dichlorides with cyclohexanecarboxylate ligands yielded four new dimeric ladder-like tetraorganostannoxanes formulated as [R4Sn2(C6H11COO)(mu(3)-O)(mu(3)-OH)](2)[R = Et (1), Bu-n (2), (n)Oct (3) and Ph (4)]. All these complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, NMR (H-1, C-13, Sn-119) spectra and in one case by X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystal structure of 1 reveals the formation of the tetranuclear species contains a planar Sn4O4 core, consisting of three adjacent rhombs with bridging oxo and hydroxyl ligands. The central tin atoms are five-coordinated to assume a distorted trigonal bipyramidal configuration and the OH ligands act as monodentate O-bound planar. 2 exhibits good antitumor activity against KB cells (IC50 = 0.90 mu M) and 4 shows significant antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus (MIC = 0.147 mu g/ml), both being even higher than those of clinically used drugs.
