A facile and convenient synthesis of unsymmetric multisubstituted pyridines from β-ketoesters and ketene N,S-acetals or ketene N,N-acetals has been achieved in good yields catalyzed by Zn(NO3)2·6H2O in the presence of triethylbenzylammonium (TEBA) chloride in ethanol. This reaction was carried out under economical, one-pot reaction conditions (using easily obtained starting materials, and inexpensive catalyst and solvent) and offers considerable improvements over traditional methodology.
摘要:
Fifteen novel pyrazolo[3,4-b]-pyrido[4,3-d]-pyrimidine-4-ones (7a-o) were designed and have been successfully synthesized via tandem aza-Wittig and annulation reactions of the corresponding iminophosphorances 5, phenylisocyanate, and substituted phenols in 60-77% isolated yields. Their structures were clearly verified by infrared (IR), 1H NMR, electron impact-mass spectrometry (EI-MS), and elemental analysis. The results of a preliminary bioassay indicated that some compounds possess inhibition activities against the root of Brassica napus (rape) and Echinochloa crusgalli (barnyard grass) at a dosage of 100mg/L and 10mg/L.

Fifteen novel 3-substituted-5-methlyl-4-methylene-7-alkylsulfanyl-3,4-dihydro-pyrido[4,3-d]pyrimidine-8-carbonitriles 5a-o, were synthesized via it facile annulation process in which formation of the pyrimidine ring procceeded smoothly by the regioselective attack of a formamidate group on a neighboring carbonyl group instead of a cyano group. Bioassay results indicated that these compounds showed significant herbicidal activity at a dose of 100 mu g/mL on the roots of oil rape and barnyard grass. In addition, some of these compounds displayed fungicidal activity.

In the title compound, C19H15FN4S 2, the mean plane of the thia-zolopyrimidine makes a dihedral angle of 77.6 (1)° with the attached phenyl ring. The crystal packing is stabilized by inter-molecular C - H⋯N hydrogen bonds and weak C - H - π stacking inter-actions.

A series of bicycli caged phosphates were synthesized, and biological activity test showed that the title compounds exhibited moderate herbicidal activity.

A series of new 2-substituted tetrahydrobenzo[4′,5′]thieno[3′,2′:5,6]pyrido[4,3-d] pyrimidin-4(3H)-ones 5 has been designed and synthesized via an aza-Wittig reaction. Iminophosphorane 3a or iminophosphorane 3b reacted with 4-Cl-phenyl(or 4-F-phenyl) isocyanate to give carbodiimide 4a or carbodiimide 4b , which were further treated with phenols to cyclize to give compounds 5 in presence of a catalytic amount of K2CO3. The structures of compound 5 have been confirmed by 1H NMR, EI-MS, IR spectroscopy, and elemental analyses.
