摘要:
This study investigated the effect of general creative personality and freedom of task choice on the social creativity of adolescents. The results indicated, first, that senior high school students scored higher than junior high school students. Second, girls scored higher than boys on originality, fluency, flexibility, appropriateness, and utility with regard to creative social problem-solving. Third, freedom of task choice and its interaction with creative personality had significant effects on the originality, appropriateness, utility, flexibility, and fluency of social creativity. Adolescents who completed the task voluntarily scored higher on these dimensions than adolescents who completed it reluctantly and, among the voluntary adolescents, those with high and medium creative personality scored higher than those with low creative personality, whereas no such difference was found among the reluctant adolescents. Adolescents were more likely to show social creativity, and their general creative personality was more likely to be brought into effect under the freedom of task choice condition.

摘要:
The Journal for Specialists in Pediatric Nursing (JSPN) is the international interdisciplinary resource for nurses who specialize in the care of children and families. T=\"I\">JSPN bridges the gap between research and practice by publishing peer-reviewed reliable, clinically relevant, and readily applicable evidence. Evidence includes qualitative and quantitative research, clinical expertise, and the perspectives of children and families. The journal integrates the best evidence with pediatric nurses' passion for achieving the best outcomes. The journal values interdisciplinary perspectives in the care of children and families and publishes a wide variety of peer-reviewed papers on clinically relevant topics. Each feature article concludes with a section titled, “How do I apply this information to nursing practice?” In addition, JSPN columns provide a forum for authors to share their expertise. The concise, information-packed columns are popular with students and educators as well as with clinicians.Coverage in the Journals@Ovid database begins with the January 2004 issue.

摘要:
Anhedonia, the diminished ability to experience pleasure, is a challenging negative symptom in patients with schizophrenia and can be observed in at-risk individuals with schizotypy. Deficits in hedonic processing have been postulated to be related to decreased motivation to engage in potentially rewarding events. It remains unclear whether non-pharmacological interventions, such as cognitive training, could improve anhedonia. The present study aimed to examine the neural mechanism for alleviating hedonic deficits with working memory (WM) training in individuals with social anhedonia. Fifteen individuals with social anhedonia were recruited and received 20 sessions of training on a dual n-back task, five sessions a week. Functional imaging paradigms of the Monetary Incentive Delay (MID) and the Affective Incentive Delay (AID) tasks were administered both before and after the training to evaluate the neural transfer effects on hedonic processing ability. Enhanced brain activations related to anticipation were observed at the anterior cingulate cortex, the left dorsal striatum and the left precuneus with the AID task, and at the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex and the supramarginal gyrus with the MID task. The present findings support that WM training may improve monetary-based and affective-based hedonic processing in individuals with social anhedonia.
摘要:
Research on personality types has recently received increasing attention in the field of personality and social psychology. The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between adolescents' personality types and prosocial/aggressive behavior. A sample of 1644 Chinese adolescents was recruited to complete the NEO Five-Factor Inventory and the Children's Behavior Inventory. Results revealed that there were four personality types in Chinese adolescents: Resilients, Withdrawn, Undercontrollers, and Ordinary. Results of ANOVA showed that resilient adolescents had the highest scores whereas withdrawn adolescents had the lowest scores on the measure of prosocial behavior. Both withdrawn and undercontrolled adolescents had the highest scores and resilient adolescents had the lowest scores on the measure of aggression. This is the first study of Chinese adolescents' personality types and the relationship between Chinese adolescents' personality types and prosocial behavior and aggression. The results have implications for understanding western notions of personality in the Chinese population. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

摘要:
Though ostracism often increases the risk for depression, the underlying processes that may moderate this relationship are largely unknown. Based on the diathesis stress model of depression, the aim of this study is to examine the effect of resilience in the relation between ostracism and depression among adolescents. The Ostracism Experience Scale for Adolescents, Connor and Davidson's Resilience Scale, and Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale were administered to 1126 adolescents in China. Results showed that, ostracism was positively associated with depression, while resilience was negatively associated with depression. Resilience was also found to moderate the association between ostracism and depression, with a stronger effect for individuals with low resilience. These results suggest that resilience could be a positive personality trait for alleviating the detrimental effect of ostracism, and are discussed in terms of their limitations and implications.
