摘要:
In this work, wood plastic composites (WPCs) were prepared from polyvinyl chloride (PVC), wood flour (WD) and poly-1,4-butylene glycol adipate diol (PBA) based polyurethane prepolymer (PUP). It was found that during melt mixing, a multifunctional polyurethane layer between PVC and wood was in situ formed; the inner layer consisted of urethane linkages which increased the compatibility between wood filler and polyurethane, the outer layer was a PBA soft segment which was compatible with PVC continuous phase because PBA was a plasticizer for PVC. The novel interface structure improved compatibility of the composites, and the mechanical properties of the composites obviously improved compared to WD/PVC composites. With the increasing wood content, the mechanical properties and hydrophobicity of composites were decreased while the thermal stability increased. Polyurethane as a rubber component also could improve the impact property of composites. Therefore, the novel interface structure improved the compatibility and the properties of the composites.

摘要:
Ni/ZrO2-CeO2-Al2O3 catalysts were prepared by the precipitation-loading method (Ni-load) and sol gel method (Ni-gel), respectively, and their catalytic performances for syngas production from toluene cracking were investigated by the on-line gas analyzer. The condensed liquid was analyzed by GC-MS. The activity and stability of catalyst, resistance to carbon deposition were also discussed according to the BET, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results showed that the catalytic activity and stability of the Ni-load catalyst was better than that of Ni-gel catalyst. Ni-load catalyst was able to reduce the carbon deposition under partial oxygen (air flow) compared with under the carrier gas N-2, carbon deposition rate decreased from 15.6% under N-2 to 9.3% under air. The results of BET clearly showed that the specific surface area of Ni-load increased from 18.831 m(2)/g before reaction to 22.439 m(2)/g after reaction under the atmosphere of air, which enhanced the catalyst catalytic activity and stability. The picture of XRD indicated that the Ni-load catalyst under air could improve the degree of dispersion of NiO compared with under the atmosphere of N-2, which could significantly promote the catalyst catalytic activity.

摘要:
Fabrication of ZnO/graphene hybrid by homogeneous depositing a continuous and conformable ZnO layer on graphene remains a great challenge and highly desired. In this paper, well-defined flake-like ZnO/graphene hybrid was fabricated by a facile in situ hydrolysis-deposition route using zinc acetate and graphene oxide (GO) as starting materials and ammonia as precipitator and reductant. By rational control the hydrolysis and condensation of Zn precursor, ZnO nanocrystals are homogeneously anchored on graphene due to the strong interaction between ZnO and GO, which was simultaneously reduced to graphene. The photocatalytic activity of the photocatalyst was evaluated using Brilliant Red X-3B (X3B) dye as probe. It was found that the presence of GO enhanced the crystallization of ZnO, and the photocatalytic activity of ZnO/graphene hybrid increases first and then decreases with increasing the amount GO. The hybrid with 3 wt.% of GO shows the highest photocatalytic activity, which is 3 times higher than that of pure ZnO. © 2015 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

摘要:
We demonstrated a cost-effective and simple method of fabricating Ag-decorated polymer nanorod (ADPN) array by the combination of fabricated by the combination of photochemical reduction and nanoimprint technology. Here, nanoimprint lithography is utilized to fabricate polymer nanorod array as the periodic temple. Subsequently, ADPNs array can be achieved via UV irradiating. The as-synthesized ADPNs array exhibited a remarkable SERS activity and Raman signal reproducibility to rhodamine 6G, a concentration down to 1011 M can be identified. Our results revealed that the ADPN array is a highly desirable candidate as the reliable enhancer for high performance SERS analysis.

摘要:
In this study, we report that highly water dispersible TiO2 nanocrystals could be synthesized via a facile nonaqueous sol-gel method using titanium tetrachloride and ethanol as the precursors. The resulting TiO 2 samples were 5-10 nm in diameter according to characterizations with X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and high resolution transmission electron microscopy. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, thermal gravimetric analysis, and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy analysis revealed that carbonaceous species were formed and bound on the surface of TiO2 nanocrystals during the synthesis. These carbonaceous species could prevent the agglomeration of TiO2 nanocrystals and endow the TiO2 nanocrystals with highly water dispersible property and superior photocatalytic activity on the degradation of organic pollutant under visible light irradiation. We believe that the resulting TiO2 nanocrystals with highly water dispersibility and superior photocatalytic activity could find wide applications in many fields. © 2013 Elsevier B.V.

摘要:
In this paper, suspension polymerization is used for the preparation of PMMA microspheres, PMMA cross-linking DVB microspheres, PMMA-co-St composite microspheres and PMMA-St-SiO2 composite microspheres, and apply IR spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, compressive strength, density, thermal analysis to the prepared polymer microspheres. The purpose of our work is to find the feasibility method of synthesis process for PMMA material and composite microspheres, and the prepared theoretical basis of proppant with low density and high strength for oil drilling applications by performance test.

摘要:
In order to improve efficiency, processability, and stability, two groups of novel poly(p-phenylene vinylene) (PPV) derivatives (P1-P 3 and P4-P6) with hyperbranched structure and containing a nitro substituent were synthesized via a Gilch reaction in different monomer ratios. The properties of the polymers were investigated by using UV-Vis absorption, fluorescence spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and thermogravimetric analysis. The result shows that the band gaps of the PPV derivatives with a nitro substituent were decreased and the polymers had higher molecular weights (106), excellent solubility in common organic solvents, good film-forming ability, and better thermal stability.
