摘要:
One of the major design issues in heterogeneous wireless networks is the support of vertical handoff. Vertical handoff occurs when a user with a multi-interface terminal changes association from one type of wireless access technology to another while maintaining an active session. It is believed that vertical handoff decision will be based on multiple criteria. In this paper, new handoff criteria are introduced along with an improved vertical handoff decision strategy based on fuzzy logic. A performance study using the integration of cellular networks and WLANs as an example shows that our proposed vertical handoff decision algorithm can reduce the handoff call dropping probability as well as unnecessary handoffs in heterogeneous wireless networks.

摘要:
"Communication Principles" is a compulsory course combining theory with experiment teaching for the specialty of Electronic Information Engineering, but it is relatively difficult for teachers to teach and students to learn with the rapid development of communication technologies. The teaching model and operational mechanism of "Communication Principles" should be ameliorated with the modern educational philosophy and the information technology in order to meet the demands of modern education, career training, and the needs of society development. The course contents, the teaching methods and the student's learning concepts are reformed. The teaching mode has been changed from the traditional teacher-centered mode to student-centered, which improves students' ability of analyzing and solving problems, thus the students' initiative and their interest are inspired, desirable teaching effects and students' high praises have been gained in the practical teaching process.

摘要:
A secure communication method via chaotic parameter modulation is studied. Based on Lyapunov stability theory and active control strategy, the simple controller is presented. Via chaotic parameter modulation, chaotic secure communication is derived. The particle filtering technique is designed in the receiving terminal to make the information signals recover effectively. The simulation results show that chaos synchronization is effective, and the recovered signals are close to the information signals, moreover, it possesses strong confidentiality. Furthermore, the controller is simple and it is easy to implement in engineering.

摘要:
This paper presents an improved image retrieval algorithm which based on the gray projection cyclostyle matching to overcome the shortcomings of conventional content-based image retrieval methods. The algorithm based on the analysis that gray scale projection curves of horizontal and vertical direction of the images fully reflects the feature of gray distribution in the corresponding direction,then compares with them if it's not homology. The experimental results show that the presented algorithm can preferably meet the requirements of image retrieval and greatly decrease the amount of calculation.

With the development of network technology, people's learning concepts and style has been greatly changed. As the enrich and development of online learning mode, Web Learning Community become increasingly concerned by people. Web Learning Community pay close attention to social psychological factors, it highlights interpersonal relations, interacting activities and community culture which based on e-learning platform. The concept of learning community has long existed, but the formation of the Web Learning Community is not a natural thing, it needs to create conditions and resort to strategies to promote the exchanges between the members of the Community by organizers. That can't be easily realized on condition of Web 1.0 site environment. The appear of Web 2.0 site technology bring about a good learning environment, diversification of interactive means, a common learning goals and tasks, strong identity and sense of belonging and a diversifying evaluation methodologies, which makes the construction of Web Learning Community is possible.

摘要:
How to acquire fair educational opportunities in rural areas as in city is now a social hotspot in China. To solve the problem, E-leaning should play an important rule. However, some new challenges should be addressed in rural areas than in city. Based on Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), the user can access and learn a rich set of multimedia content by distance learning via dynamic and heterogeneous networks and devices. This paper proposes an available architecture to describe the applications of E-learning in Rural Area based on IPTV. In additional, based on our architecture, available solutions of some key techniques are proposed.
