A highly significant structure is observed in the Λc+K-π+π+ mass spectrum, where the Λc+ baryon is reconstructed in the decay mode pK-π+. The structure is consistent with originating from a weakly decaying particle, identified as the doubly charmed baryon Ξcc++. The difference between the masses of the Ξcc++ and Λc+ states is measured to be 1334.94±0.72(stat.)±0.27(syst.) MeV/c2, and the Ξcc++ mass is then determined to be 3621.40±0.72(stat.)±0.27(syst.)±0.14(Λc+) MeV/c2, where the last uncertainty is due to the limited knowledge of the Λc+ mass. The state is observed in a sample of proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.7 fb-1, and confirmed in an additional sample of data collected at 8 TeV. © 2017 CERN, for the LHCb Collaboration.

The decays χc1→J/ψμ+μ- and χc2→J/ψμ+μ- are observed and used to study the resonance parameters of the χc1 and χc2 mesons. The masses of these states are measured to be m(χc1)=3510.71±0.04(stat)±0.09(syst) MeV and m(χc2)=3556.10±0.06(stat)±0.11(syst) MeV, where the knowledge of the momentum scale for charged particles dominates the systematic uncertainty. The momentum-scale uncertainties largely cancel in the mass difference m(χc2)-m(χc1)=45.39±0.07(stat)±0.03(syst) MeV. The natural width of the χc2 meson is measured to be Γ(χc2)=2.10±0.20(stat)±0.02(syst) MeV. These results are in good agreement with and have comparable precision to the current world averages. © 2017 CERN, for the LHCb Collaboration.

本研究采用问卷法调查了503名中小学教师,考察课堂情绪和教师效能感在情绪调节策略与工作投入之间的中介作用.结果发现:(1)认知重评策略不仪能直接正向地预测工作投入,也能通过积极、消极课堂情绪及教师效能感间接预测工作投入,还可通过积极、消极课堂情绪经教师效能感的多重中介间接预测工作投入.(2)表达抑制策略不能直接预测工作投入,但能通过积极课堂情绪间接预测工作投入,也可通过积极课堂情绪经效能感的多重中介间接预测工作投入.

摘要:
Brain connectivity analysis has shown great promise in understanding how aging affects functional connectivity; however, an explanatory framework to study healthy aging in terms of network efficiency is still missing. Here, we study network robustness, i.e., resilience to perturbations, in resting-state functional connectivity networks (rs-fMRI) in young and elder subjects. We apply analytic measures of network communication efficiency in the human brain to investigate the compensatory mechanisms elicited in aging. Specifically, we quantify the effect of “lesioning” (node canceling) of either single regions of interest (ROI) or whole networks on global connectivity metrics (i.e., efficiency). We find that young individuals are more resilient than old ones to random “lesioning” of brain areas; global network efficiency is over 3 times lower in older subjects relative to younger subjects. On the other hand, the “lesioning” of central and limbic structures in young subjects yield a larger efficiency loss than in older individuals. Overall, our study shows a more idiosyncratic response to specific brain network “lesioning” in elder compared to young subjects, and that young adults are more resilient to random deletion of single nodes compared to old adults. © Copyright © 2016 Gomez-Ramirez, Li, Wu and Wu.

A full amplitude analysis of Λb0→J/ψpπ- decays is performed with a data sample acquired with the LHCb detector from 7 and 8 TeV pp collisions, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb-1. A significantly better description of the data is achieved when, in addition to the previously observed nucleon excitations N→pπ-, either the Pc(4380)+ and Pc(4450)+→J/ψp states, previously observed in Λb0→J/ψpK- decays, or the Zc(4200)-→J/ψπ- state, previously reported in B0→J/ψK+π- decays, or all three, are included in the amplitude models. The data support a model containing all three exotic states, with a significance of more than three standard deviations. Within uncertainties, the data are consistent with the Pc(4380)+ and Pc(4450)+ production rates expected from their previous observation taking account of Cabibbo suppression. © 2016 CERN.

A search for CP violation in D0→K-K+ and D0→π-π+ decays is performed using pp collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb-1, collected using the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV. The flavor of the charm meson is inferred from the charge of the pion in D∗+→D0π+ and D∗-→D0π- decays. The difference between the CP asymmetries in D0→K-K+ and D0→π-π+ decays, ΔACP≡ACP(K-K+)-ACP(π-π+), is measured to be [-0.10±0.08(stat)±0.03(syst)]%. This is the most precise measurement of a time-integrated CP asymmetry in the charm sector from a single experiment. © 2016 CERN, for the LHCb Collaboration.

摘要:
研究以毕业生的回溯性评价为绩效标准,对34名中小学教师进行行为事件访谈,探讨对学生产生长远影响的教师胜任特征。通过对受访教师所叙述的关键事件进行主题分析和行为编码,比较绩优组与普通组教师的差异,构建了基于长期绩效的中小学教师的胜任力模型。结果显示,能对学生产生长久积极影响的教师具有主动性、人际了解、冲击与影响、关系建立、学生服务导向、培养他人、团队合作、分析性思考、自我控制、自信心、责任心、尊重他人、正直诚信和反思与改进等14项胜任特征。

The first observation of the Bs0→D0KS0 decay mode and evidence for the Bs0→D∗0KS0 decay mode are reported. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb-1 collected in pp collisions by LHCb at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV. The branching fractions are measured to be B(Bs0→D0K0)=[4.3±0.5(stat)±0.3(syst)±0.3(frag)±0.6(norm)]×10-4,B(Bs0→D∗0K0)=[2.8±1.0(stat)±0.3(syst)±0.2(frag)±0.4(norm)]×10-4,where the uncertainties are due to contributions coming from statistical precision, systematic effects, and the precision of two external inputs, the ratio fs/fd and the branching fraction of B0→D0KS0, which is used as a calibration channel. © 2016 CERN, for the LHCb Collaboration. Top quark production in the forward region in proton-proton collisions is observed for the first time. The W + b final state with W -> mu nu is reconstructed using muons with a transverse momentum, p(T), larger than 25 GeV in the pseudorapidity range 2.0 < eta < 4.5. The b jets are required to have 50 < p(T) < 100 GeV and 2.2 < eta < 4.2, while the transverse component of the sum of the muon and b-jet momenta must satisfy p(T) > 20 GeV. The results are based on data corresponding to integrated luminosities of 1.0 and 2.0 fb(-1) collected at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV by LHCb. The inclusive top quark production cross sections in the fiducial region are sigma(top)[7 TeV] = 239 +/- 53(stat) +/- 33(syst) +/- 24(theory) fb; sigma(top)[8 TeV ] = 289 +/- 43(stat) +/- 40(syst) +/- 29(theory) fb: These results, along with the observed differential yields and charge asymmetries, are in agreement with next-to-leading order standard model predictions.

Production of Bc+ mesons in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV is studied with data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.0fb-1 recorded by the LHCb experiment. The ratio of production cross sections times branching fractions between the Bc+→J/ψπ+ and B+→J/ψK+ decays is measured as a function of transverse momentum and rapidity in the regions 0<pT<20GeV/c and 2.0<y<4.5. The ratio in this kinematic range is measured to be (0.683±0.018±0.009)%, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. © 2015 CERN, for the LHCb Collaboration.

本研究采用问卷法调查了503名中小学教师,考察课堂情绪和教师效能感在情绪调节策略与工作投入之间的中介作用.结果发现:(1)认知重评策略不仪能直接正向地预测工作投入,也能通过积极、消极课堂情绪及教师效能感间接预测工作投入,还可通过积极、消极课堂情绪经教师效能感的多重中介间接预测工作投入.(2)表达抑制策略不能直接预测工作投入,但能通过积极课堂情绪间接预测工作投入,也可通过积极课堂情绪经效能感的多重中介间接预测工作投入.

Euro-Canadians and Chinese typically hold different theories about change; Euro-Canadians often engage in linear thinking whereas Chinese often engage in non-linear thinking. The present research investigated the effects of culture-specific theories of change in two related gambling fallacies: the gambler’s fallacy (GF; the belief that one is due for a win after a run of losses) and the hot-hand fallacy (HHF; the belief that one’s winning streak is likely to continue). In Study 1, participants predicted the outcome of a coin toss following a sequence of tosses. Study 2 involved predicting and betting on the outcome of a basketball player’s shot following a sequence of shots. In Study 1, Asians (mainly Chinese) were significantly more likely than Euro-Canadians to believe that they would win (correctly predict the coin toss) after a series of losses (a non-linear thinking pattern), suggesting greater susceptibility to the gambler’s fallacy. In Study 2, Euro-Canadians were more likely than Chinese to predict outcomes consistent with a basketball player’s streaks (a linear thinking pattern), suggesting greater susceptibility to the hot hand fallacy. By illustrating the role of cultural differences in cognition, these findings contribute to our understanding of why certain cultural groups, such as Chinese, are more susceptible to gambling. © 2015, Ji et al.

A search is presented for hidden-sector bosons, χ, produced in the decay B0→K∗(892)0χ, with K∗(892)0→K+π- and χ→μ+μ-. The search is performed using pp-collision data corresponding to 3.0fb-1 collected with the LHCb detector. No significant signal is observed in the accessible mass range 214≤m(χ)≤4350MeV, and upper limits are placed on the branching fraction product B(B0→K∗(892)0χ)×B(χ→μ+μ-) as a function of the mass and lifetime of the χ boson. These limits are of the order of 10-9 for χ lifetimes less than 100 ps over most of the m(χ) range, and place the most stringent constraints to date on many theories that predict the existence of additional low-mass bosons. © 2015 CERN. © 2015 CERN, for the LHCb Collaboration. Advanced aging is accompanied by a decline in visuospatial attention. Previous neuroimaging and electrophysiological studies have demonstrated dysfunction in specific brain areas related to visuospatial attention. However, it is still unclear how the functional connectivity between brain regions causes the decline of visuospatial attention. Here, we combined task and rest functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to investigate the age-dependent alterations of resting-state functional connectivity within the task-related network. Twenty-three young subjects and nineteen elderly subjects participated in this study, and a modified Posner paradigm was used to define the region of interest (ROI). Our results showed that a marked reduction in the number of connections occurred with age, but this effect was not uniform throughout the brain: while there was a significant loss of communication in the anterior portion of the brain and between the anterior and posterior cerebral cortices, communication in the posterior portion of the brain was preserved. Moreover, the older adults exhibited weakened resting-state functional connectivity between the supplementary motor area and left anterior insular cortex. These findings suggest that, the disrupted functional connectivity of the brain network for visuospatial attention that occurs during normal aging may underlie the decline in cognitive performance. 教师的内隐职业认同与外显职业认同比较

研究以78名中小学教师为被试,采用内隐联想测验法和问卷法,考察了教师内隐和外显职业认同的关系及社会赞许性在两者中的作用。结果发现:(1)中小学教师的外显职业认同得分较高,且存在中等程度的内隐职业认同;(2)中小学教师的外显职业认同存在性别、城乡和学校类别差异;(3)在控制社会赞许性之前,外显职业认同与内隐职业认同的相关不显著,控制了社会赞许性之后,两者相关显著;(4)社会赞许性可以正向预测外显职业认同。
