摘要：
Previous research implies a positive relationship between job stressors and cyberloafing, but that may be half the story. Under the challenge-hindrance stressors framework and conservation of resources theory, we propose that the impact of stressors on cyberloafing depends on the nature of stressors that employees encountered. Using a sample of 498 employees from various fields, we tested a conceptual model in which challenge stressors and hindrance stressors have differential effects on cyberloafing through resilience and emotional exhaustion separately. The results revealed that challenge stressors have a negative direct effect on cyberloafing, whereas hindrance stressors have a positive direct effect. Both two types of stressors have positive indirect effects on cyberloafing through emotional exhaustion. However, even though challenge stressors were positively related to resilience and hindrance stressors were negatively related to resilience, our data did support the mediating role of resilience between job stressors and cyberloafing. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed.

Artificial intelligence in programmatic advertising constitutes fertile grounds for marketing communication with tremendous opportunities. Yet, despite its touted benefits, contemporary implementations of programmatic advertising do not harness self-generative technologies so much so that different consumers are exposed to identical content. Consequently, we advance a smart generation system of personalized advertising copy (SGS-PAC) that can automatically personalize advertising content to align with the needs of individual consumers. Analytical results from a user experiment involving about 80 subjects underscore that personalized advertising copies generated by SGS-PAC can bolster click rate in online advertising platforms. Findings from this study bear significant implications for the application of artificial intelligence in online advertising.
摘要：
Knowledge Base Question Answering (KBQA) is a hot research topic in natural language processing (NLP). The most challenging problem in KBQA is how to understand the semantic information of natural language questions and how to bridge the semantic gap between the natural language questions and the structured fact triples in knowledge base. This paper focuses on simple questions which can be answered by a single fact triple in knowledge base. We propose a topic enhanced deep structured semantic model for KBQA. The proposed method considers the task of KBQA as a matching problem between questions and the subjects and predicates in knowledge base. And the proposed model consists of two stages to match the subjects and predicates, respectively. In the first stage, we propose a Convolutional based Topic Entity Extraction Model (CTEEM) to extract topic entities mentioned in questions. With the extracted entities, we can retrieve the relevant candidate fact triples from knowledge base and obviously decrease the amount of noising candidates. In the second stage, we employ Deep Structured Semantic Models (DSSMs) to compute the semantic relevant score between questions and predicates in the candidates. And we combine the semantic level and the lexical level scores to rank the candidates. We evaluate the proposed method on KBQA dataset released by NLPCC-ICCPOL 2016. The experimental results show that our proposed method achieves the third place among the 21 submitted systems. Furthermore, we also extend the DSSM by using BiLSTM and integrate a convolutional structure on the top of BiLSTM layers. Our experimental results show that the extension models can further improve the performance.

Background: It has not been solved what kind of needle sensation might influence outcomes of acupuncture treatment. Effects of personality factors on the therapeutic effect of acupuncture have not been investigated. This study aimed to find the effects of the traits of personality on the objective outcome when different acupuncture techniques were used in treating patients with Bell's palsy. Methods: We performed a secondary analysis of a prospective multicenter randomized controlled trial of acupuncture for Bell's palsy. Patients were randomly assigned to the de qi and control groups, respectively. The primary outcome was facial nerve function at month 6. The intensity of each needle sensation was rated by a visual analog scale. Psychosocial factors were assessed by the pretreatment mediator questionnaire; 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire (16PF) was used for assessing personality factors and digit cancellation test for assessing attention. Results: After 6 months, patients in the de qi group had better facial function (adjusted odds ratio [OR]: 4.16,95% confidence interval [CI]: 2.23-7.78). Path analysis showed that intensity of needle sensation of fullness had direct effect on House-Brackmann (HB) score at month 6. In de qi group, the low HB score on day 1 (OR: 0.13,95% CI: 0.03-0.45) and the low Social Boldness score (OR: 0.63,95% CI: 0.41-0.97) in 16PF were associated with better facial function. In control group, low HB score on day 1 (OR: 0.25,95% CI: 0.13-0.50), low Vigilance score (OR: 0.66,95% CI: 0.50-0.88), and high Tension score (OR: 1.41,95% CI: 1.12-1.77) in 16PF were related to better facial function. Conclusions: The needle sensation of fullness could predict better facial function and personality traits might influence outcomes of acupuncture treatment. Both of them should be considered seriously in acupuncture treatment and research.

Two experiments examined the effects of competition and cooperation contexts, as well as regulatory fit, on reducing the negative influence of stereotype threat. Experiment 1 demonstrated that in high stereotype threat conditions, participants in the cooperation context scored significantly higher on a math test than those in the competition context, while participants in low stereotype threat conditions did not differ in both contexts. Experiment 2 found that under stereotype threat, participants with induced prevention focus scored significantly higher on a math test in the cooperation context than those in the competition context or control group. At the same time, participants with induced promotion foci did not differ between the contexts. Thus, while the cooperation context may counteract the effect of stereotype threat, inducing a promotion focus may create a regulatory fit in the competition context that could also remove the effect of stereotype threat.
