Mining and setting up semantic relations between learning resources is an important premise to achieve effective learning resource organization, and is also an important basis for deep integration and sharing. To work out the knowledge correlations among the massive volume of learning resources, it is not enough and difficult to implement that only base on machines, because it requires full understanding of the relevant concepts, knowledge relationships, as well as specific domain knowledge, which is hard for machines. This paper studies the common methods of semantic correlation of learning resources, and proposes a knowledge correlation model based on the wisdom of crowds and design a learning Resource Correlation system. The system makes full use of human subjective initiative and elaborately solves the semantic problem of knowledge which is hard to understand for machines. And more, it can effectively aggregate all relation marking and comments submitted by the users to reasonable results.

摘要:
Tujia brocade as one of the national intangible cultural heritages in China, is an outstanding representative of traditional Chinese folk handicraft. However, there are many problems with cultural resources on Tujia brocade skills, such as its distribution is not concentrated, lack of semantic organization, difficult to obtain and dissemination and so on. In view of these problems, this paper constructs a set of Tujia brocade cultural knowledge base system based on ontology, initially, we proposes a method of ontology modeling in Tujia brocade domain, and constructs the ontology model of Tujia brocade domain via using ontology technology, and then design and realize the ontology annotation, semantic association and knowledge retrieval and display functions for Tujia brocade cultural knowledge through the system demand analysis. The system has realized the reasonable organization of Tujia brocade cultural resources, it will contributes to the widespread dissemination and sharing of Tujia brocade cultural knowledge.

It is important to track people's face efficiently and accurately in many Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSs) and Safety Driving Assistant Systems (SDASs). This paper presents a high-performance and low-cost real-time face tracking system, which runs on general onboard computer with very low CPU consumption. The proposed face tracking system is composed of four modules: the motion detector, face detector, face tracker, and face validator. The motion detector extracts motion areas by using a spatial-temporal bi-differential method with a very low computational cost. The face detector integrates motions into a cascade face detection framework to reject most of non-face scanning-windows to ensure efficient face localization. The face tracker fuses motion feature with color feature to alleviate the drifting problem during tracking. The face validator builds face appearance models online and identifies each specific tracked face to avoid confusion. Experimental results on three challenging video sequences show that the proposed face tracking system outperforms the state-of-the-art face tracker and consumes only 5-13% CPU resources of a low-spec onboard computer while processing in real time. Doctoral dissertation is one of the most important parts in the doctoral degree program. This paper analyzes the data of doctoral dissertations in a university for three consecutive years, and investigates the factors related to the quality of doctoral dissertations from the aspects of students' characteristics and cultivation methods. The results show that the enrollment age, study period, mode of study and subject categories, whether cross-specialty, etc., have significant impact on the quality of doctoral dissertations. Then, a prediction model based on the weighted Random Forest (RF) is presented to predict the quality of doctoral dissertation, which is effective for unbalanced data and improves the generalization ability of the original RF, the encouraging result of 81.29% prediction rate has been obtained, which provides objective evidence for doctoral degree program management.

This study focused on delineating and utilizing "habit loop" framework: cueing environment, routine, and satisfaction. This study further integrated the habit loop framework into portfolio management game for helping elementary school students to writing and rewriting in order to cultivate good writing habit. We also proposed two design principles: portfolio visualization and management: portfolio visualization and management. The former supported cueing environment; the latter increased satisfaction; students perform their routines (e.g. writing and rewriting) in a portfolio management game.

Speech interaction is a prominent interaction technology in educational robot, and educational robot with speech interaction can have a more harmonic and natural way of interaction. In some specific application scenarios such as education, the performance of speech recognition is not satisfactory due to the wide range of vocabularies and poor network. This paper trains the language model with professional vocabulary in the specific subject and establishes the corresponding phonetic dictionary in speech recognition based on Sphinx, and combines with speech synthesis based on Ekho to implement the speech interaction of educational robot in the offline state, and designs the relevant application of speech interaction about the teaching scenario of Chinese ancient poetry. The experiment demonstrates that the system designed and implemented can meet the demand of practical application of speech interaction in specific subject, and achieve the purpose of enhancing the student's learning experience and improving the learning effect.

Nowadays, Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) has obtained a rapid development and drawn much attention from the areas of learning analytics and artificial intelligence. There are lots of unstructured data being generated in online reviews area. The learning behavioral data become more and more diverse, and they prompt the emergence of big data in education. To mine useful information from these data, we need to use educational data mining and learning analysis technique to study the learning feelings and discussed topics among learners. This paper aims to mine and analyze topic information hidden in the unstructured reviews data in MOOC, a novel author topic model based on an unsupervised learning idea is proposed to extract learning topics for the each learner. According to the experimental results, we will analyze and focuses of interests of learners, which facilitates further personalized course recommendation and improve the quality of online courses.

Low-cost tags are widely used, but have very limited storage space and computing power. In this paper, we propose an efficent lightweight radio-frequency identification (RFID) authentication protocol with strong trajectory privacy protection to balance the security and availability of RFID systems. In this protocol, tags only adopt pseudo-random number generator and XOR operation. In the authentication process, tags always use pseudonyms to prevent the exposure of sensitive messages, the pseudonyms and secret numbers of the tags are synchronized with the background server all the time. The analysis shows that the protocol can solve security issues such as desynchronization attack, man in the middle attack, forward security, replay attack, clone and so on effectively, and meet the requirements of low-cost tags. The trajectory privacy model of RFID systems is also used to prove the strong trajectory privacy and security of the protocol. This protocol has a better performance in terms of storage cost, computation cost and communication cost, and the search efficiency of the background server comparing to the existing relevant research results.

Recently, blending learning has attracted more and more researchers attention in the field of teaching and learning. However, there are many troubles in making it clear as teaching model is suitable for specific knowledge points and there are no fixed implementing pattern. In this paper, we propose a new teaching strategy for blending learning, and divide all the knowledge into five categories, such as declarative knowledge, concept knowledge, rule knowledge, basic skill knowledge, and problem solving knowledge. Furthermore, we analyze the characteristics of each category and predict which teaching model is suitable for a specific category. Then we have carried out the proposed teaching strategy on the geography course in senior high school. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed strategy has the great significance in educational theory and practical application.

This paper presents a heuristic algorithm for solving a specific NP-hard 2D rectangular packing problem in which a rectangle called central rectangle is required to be placed in the center of the final layout, and the aspect ratio of the container is also required to be in a given range. The key component of the proposed algorithm is a greedy constructive procedure, according to which, the rectangles are packed into the container one by one and each rectangle is packed into the container by an angle-occupying placement with maximum fit degree. The proposed algorithm is evaluated on two groups of 35 well-known benchmark instances. Computational results disclose that the proposed algorithm outperforms the previous algorithm for the packing problem. For the first group of test instances, solutions with average filling rate 99.31% can be obtained; for the real-world layout problem in the second group, the filling rate of the solution is 94.75%.

With the gradual improvement of the level of educational information, the idea of education big data has gone deep into people's minds. More and more teaching staff and researchers have the consciousness of the data needs, and expect to do the data mining and learning analysis of education big data. However, the most realistic and basic problem they have in the process of carrying out research is that there is no good data support or a convenient way to get data. Aiming at the problem, this article puts forward an education big data open service model, and builds the education big data open service platform based on the model. The platform has tried to run on the Central China Normal University and provides some data service for all the teachers and students in school. The data acquisition trouble is solved perfectly for teaching staff and researchers.
