摘要:
Applying Parikh's quantum tunneling method, the tunneling characteristics of stationary Kaluza-Klein black hole is researched. The result shows that the tunneling rate across the event horizon of the black hole is relevant to the change of Bekenstein-Hawking entropy and the derived radiation spectrum deviates from pure thermal when the self-gravitation, energy conservation and angular momentum conservation are taken into consideration. Finally, we use the obtained results to reduce to stationary Kerr black hole and static Swarzschild black hole, and find that only ignoring the spectrum at higher energies the tunneling radiation spectrum is consistent with Hawking pure thermal one.

We have measured the thermal conductivity of bulky pellets made of various boron nitride (BN)-based nanomaterials, including spherical nanoparticles, perfectly structured, bamboo-like nanotubes, and collapsed nanotubes. The thermal conductivity strongly depends on the morphology of the BN nanomaterials, especially on the surface structure. Spherical BN particles have the lowest thermal conductivity while the collapsed BN nanotubes possess the best thermoconductive properties. A model was proposed to explain the experimental observations based on the heat percolation passage considerations.

Transmitted-Reference Ultra Wideband (TR-UWB) systems adopt autocorrelation receiver (AcR) as a suboptimal receiver, which offers a good performance but a simple structure. In order to enhance the performance of the AcR without increasing the complexity of the receiver structure, some improvement is made in this paper. We combine a limited number of multipath to capture enough received signal energy and suppress the noise by averaging the received signals. A quasi-analytical/experimental approach is applied to analyze the performance of this improved AcR. Finally, simulations are carried out under the multipath circumstances and comparisons are made to demonstrate the performance improvement of the improved autocorrelation receiver.

We propose net charge fluctuation as a measure of local charge correlation length. It is demonstrated that, in terms of a schematic multiperipheral model, net charge fluctuation satisfies the same Quigg-Thomas relation as satisfied by charge transfer fluctuation. Net charge fluctuations measured in finite rapidity windows depend on both the local charge correlation length and the size of the observation window. When the observation window is larger than the local charge correlation length, the net charge fluctuation only depends on the local charge correlation length, while forward-backward charge fluctuations always have strong dependence on the observation window size. Net charge fluctuations and forward-backward charge fluctuations measured in the present heavy ion experiments show characteristic features similar to those from multiperipheral models. But the data cannot all be understood within this simple model.

We present the first statistically meaningful results from two-K-s(0) interferometry in heavy-ion collisions at root s(NN)=200 GeV. A model that takes the effect of the strong interaction into account has been used to fit the measured correlation function. The effects of single and coupled channels were explored. At the mean transverse mass < m(T)>=1.07 GeV, we obtain the values R=4.09 +/- 0.46(stat)+/- 0.31(sys) fm and lambda=0.92 +/- 0.23(stat)+/- 0.13(sys), where R and lambda are the invariant radius and chaoticity parameters, respectively. The results are qualitatively consistent with m(T) systematics established with pions in a scenario characterized by a strong collective flow.
