摘要:
Raman spectroscopy combines the fingerprinting advantage of mid-IR spectroscopy with the ease of use and remote, non-invasive capability of near-IR spectroscopy. Now, Raman spectroscopy is fast becoming a perfect technique of analysis in raw material identification, verification, process control in biological, chemical and industrial fields, because Raman spectra are a fingerprint for the molecular species present in a specimen and can be used for both qualitative identification and quantitative determination. This paper introduces that low-resolution Raman spectroscopy (LRRS) satisfies the need for a highly useful, low-cost spectroscopic approach to both qualitative and quantitative analyses. First the principles and methods of analyses were introduced, especially quantitative analyses based on ratio method, and then several applications were described, which were representatives of qualitative and quantitative analyses. Secondly, these experimental results were discussed and analyzed in detail. The results show that the Raman spectroscopy technology is flexible, affordable and easily adapted to on-site and in situ analysis.

摘要:
The electromagnetic (EM) scattering by rivets on the conducting plate is studied for the first time by using electric field integral equation (EFIE) in conjunction with the moment method. The surfaces of the rivets and the plate are partitioned into triangular cells, the current distribution on the patches is represented by sub-domain type basis function, the EFIE is translated into matrix equation by the Galerkin method, then the current coefficient is obtained. The results show the properties of radar cross section (RCS) varying with the incident angle when there are rivets on the plate.

The entanglement property between two two-level atoms interacting with a stochastic field is studied. We analytically prove that when the correlation time κ −1 of the stochastic field is very short compared to the radiative lifetime γ −1 of the atom, the steady-state entanglement between the two atoms can appear. The concurrence characterizing the entanglement degree has also been calculated by using Monte Carlo simulation. It is shown that the correlation time has a strong effect on the entanglement. We also discuss the influence of strength of the stochastic process on the entanglement. The validity of the decorrelation approximation is also investigated.

摘要:
A novel method was demonstrated to fabricate boron nitride nanotube films on silicon substrate in a location-controlled fashion. The pre-deposited SiO2 layer on the substrate controls the growth space of BN nanotubes synthesized by an ammonothermal reaction of boron and its oxide.

In this Brief Report the properties of both dynamical and static entanglement in the integrable quantum dimer are studied in terms of the reduced-density linear entropy and von Neumann entropy with various coupling parameters, total boson numbers, and initial states. The mean entanglement, which is defined to be averaged over time, is used to describe the influence of the classical separatrix on the behavior of entanglement. It is shown that the mean entanglement exhibits a maximum near the position of the corresponding classical separatrix energy and that the static entanglement of the state with the largest eigenvalue of the quantum spectrum displays a maximum near the bifurcation point. For weak coupling and larger total boson number the maximum entanglement state is exactly at the position of the classical separatrix and bifurcation. In strong coupling all initial states have nearly the same mean entanglement.
