Rainfall is one of the most important ecological and environmental factors which influences the germination, growth and subsequent establishment of plants and species composition in many areas of the world, especially in arid and semi-arid areas. A large number of scientists and scholars have been doing research on it and produced a great many useful results. This paper is a comprehensive analysis on the study of rainfall in the last decades, including various methods such as modeling, simulation, statistics, time-series, predicting and so on dealing with rainfall distribution, intensity, long-term trends and so forth. The methods and productions could provide references for our further study on rainfall analysis.

In this paper we present the notion of regularized resolvent families, which generalizes the classes of regularized semigroups, regularized cosine families and resolvent families. We obtained some generation theorems and analyticity criterions for regularized resolvent families.

We investigate elliptic equations related to the Caffarelli–Kohn–Nirenberg inequalities:
$${-div(|x|^\alpha |\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u)=|x|^\beta u^{p(\alpha,\beta)-1}, u(x) > 0,\,x\in\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^N} (N\geq 3), 1<p<N$$
and
$${\alpha, \beta\in \mathbb{R}}$$
such that
$${\frac{p(N+\beta)}{N-p+\alpha} > p}$$
. For various parameters α, β and various domains Ω, we establish some existence and non-existence results of solutions in rather general, possibly degenerate or singular settings.

摘要:
In this paper, we are concerned with the large time decay estimates of solutions to the Cauchy problem of nonlinear evolution equations with ellipticity and damping. Different end states of initial data are considered. The optimal rate of decay to the linear diffusion waves is obtained. The optimal rate of decay of solutions to the linearized system plays a crucial role in the analysis.
