摘要：
Web-based education resources management should take the needs of learners as the prerequisite, take the outstanding management theory as a guide, and take advanced information technology as a support, following the technological specification published by the government, and achieves rational utilization and management of resources. The paper expounds the present situation and the existing problems of Web-based education resources management, and puts forward the corresponding solutions based on analyzing the nature of the problems. ©2009 IEEE.

摘要：
Emerging concerns about quality of e-learning products and services animated a project in many countries to establish and implement quality assurance. This paper introduces the international standard of quality management, assurance and metrics for information technology learning, education, and training which is put forward by technical committee ISO/IEC JTC1 SC36. With the implementation of tuition-free normal college students' education in Huazhong Normal University, the paper describes how to use the quality assurance standard to establish a learning management platform for tuition-free normal college students in Huazhong Normal University. According to Reference Framework for Quality Descriptions (RFDQ) of the quality assurance standard, needs analysis and framework analysis of the platform are conducted by way of interview and investigation, and subsequently detailed functional design of the platform is implemented. Finally, the author explores the quality assurance of the platform. ©2009 IEEE.

摘要：
The measurement of alternating current (AC) is realized by using fiber Bragg grating (FBG), giant magnetostriction material (GMM), and the technology of fiber coupler demodulation (fiber wavelength division multiplexing filter, FWDMF). The magnetostrictive effect of GMM, the theoretical analysis of the FBG current measurement and the interrogation technology of FWDMF are introduced as well. The sensing unit of AC current measurement is constructed with magnetostrictive material and FBG. The feasibility of AC current measurement by using this method is proved, when the AC exciting current is in the scope of 0-2A. ©2009 SPIE.

摘要：
Virtual reality technology is widely used in indoor building walkthrough. As the limited capabilities with data volume and network transfer, 3D scenes on the Web have less photorealistic and interactive than stand-alone systems. This paper designs and implements a system for indoor virtual roaming. Its manipulating mechanism make scene with good interactivity. Moreover, powerful capabilities in data compression increase the speed of data transfer. Finally, this system is applied to a project on displaying an online sample rooms. The result shows that it can enable consumers to have an immersive experience. ©2009 IEEE.

摘要：
In our opinion, the evaluation is one of the most important parts in serious games. An approach to evaluation system design for serious game is come up and discussed in this paper. Firstly, we discuss the importance and the function requirements of evaluation system in serious game. These functions are: record and playback, data processing, feedback, database interface, script language support, and so on. Secondly, we design and implement our evaluation system in the form of component for our 3D game engine. Finally, a demonstration is given. ©2009 Springer Berlin Heidelberg.

摘要：
Protein folding problem is one of the central problems in the cross-discipline field involving biology, computational physics and computer science. In this paper, based on the heuristic physical model, a three-dimensional AB mode-based protein folding problem is converted from a nonlinear constraint-satisfied problem to an unconstrained optimization problem, which can be solved by the gradient method. However, in the course of solution using the gradient method, it is often possible for the calculation of gradient method to fall into the trap of local minimum. To jump out of the trap of local minimum and guide the search to the points with better prospects, we proposed a heuristic Tabu search method. The computational results show that our algorithm can outperform nPERM algorithm and HSA algorithm in terms of finding states with lower energy for the four benchmark sequences.

摘要：
This paper introduces a new evolutionary algorithm based on the local search strategy and uses it to solve the Traveling Salesman Problem. The algorithm incorporates speediness of local search methods in neighborhood search with robustness of evolutionary methods in global search in order to obtain global optimum. The experimental results show that the algorithm is of potential to obtain global optimum or more accurate solutions than other evolutionary methods for the TSP.

With the rapid development of digital museums, virtual cultural heritage applications are gaining popularity with the technical ability to represent historical knowledge in virtual worlds storytelling. This paper introduces an approach to creating a virtual storytelling about relics. Finally, the lacquer chest found in the tomb of Marquis Yi of the Zeng state is demonstrated the application of visual storytelling in digital museums that can give visitors a sense of personal presence in a reconstructed historical situation.

Google Earth is a powerful geographic browser for viewing, creating, and sharing interactive files containing highly visual location-specific information. It allows the learners for collaborative learning and communion to share images, placemarks, shapes, and folder data with other participants. This paper elaborates its applications in education from mainly three aspects (i.e., network learning platform, making teaching materials, and assisted classroom instruction). 摘要：
Aiming to solving bottleneck problems such as modeling 3D scene and character in the process of virtual product development, this paper investigates a data-driven synthesis of geometric model, and applies to a shape-based search to find 3D models or parts in a model base, and then composite parts to form new models. Its application shows that this approach can efficiently create geometric models of the scenes and characters in cultural activities based on existing 3D models in ethnic cultural model library with regional characteristics. ©2009 IEEE.

摘要：
A novel backoff algorithm in CSMA/CA-based medium access control (MAC) protocols for clustered sensor networks was proposed. The algorithm requires that all sensor nodes have the same value of contention window (C

) in a cluster, which is revealed by formulating resource allocation as a network utility maximization problem. Then, by maximizing the total network utility with constrains of minimizing collision probability, the optimal value of C

opt) can be computed according to the number of sensor nodes. The new backoff algorithm uses the common optimal value W
opt and leads to fewer collisions than binary exponential backoff algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms standard 802.11 DCF and S-MAC in average collision times, packet delay, total energy consumption, and system throughput.

The Super Sketch-Pad (SSP) is a dynamic geometry software of China, which is a Chinese version designed for the teaching and learning of mathematics. This paper mainly introduces its motion driving mechanism, some application in dynamic geometry, locus, and trace, and so forth. SSP lead students to understand the geometrical characters of graphs visually, to see the beauty of geometry and to enhance their interests in mathematics. 考虑到支持向量机在训练样本有限的情况下处理高维数据的优势,为实现地雷的自动识别,运用支持向量机和遗传算法设计并实现了地雷分类器.但是,地雷目标信号经常淹没在强噪声信号中,为提高雷达回波信号的信噪比,进一步提高识别率,文章采用了基于小波包阈值去噪的方法对雷达数据进行预处理.通过实验结果可以看出,本文所采用的方法有效地克服了数据维数高,样本缺少的问题,实现了地雷的分类和识别,识别率达到了86%.

Resources construction is the key element of modern distance education project in rural K-12. But how to design and develop the high-quality and easy-to-use resources is still an important problem. In order to make the resources more applicable and useable, Resources construction should pay attention to resources' actual using situation from the users' real need. This essay presented a new model: situation analysis, function extracting, and system framework for design and developing modern distance resource, and give some suggestion from this perspective. ©2009 IEEE.

Teacher's personal teaching website is a practice of modern network teaching. Also it's an experimental field of the future learning society. Towards high availability and performance database clusters for archived stream

摘要：
Some burgeoning web applications, such as web search engines, need to track, store and analyze massive real-time users' access logs with high availability of 24*7. The traditional high availability approaches towards general-purpose transaction applications are always not efficient enough to store these high-rate insertion-only archived streams. This paper presents an integrated approach to store these archived streams in a database cluster and recover it quickly. This approach is based on our simplified replication protocol and high performance data loading and query strategy. The experiments show that our approach can reach efficient data loading and query and get shorter recovery time than the traditional database cluster recovery methods. ©2009 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.
