摘要:
The core of an e-Learning system typically consists of a learning content management system (LCMS). It is aimed at managing learning content which is typically stored in a database. An LCMS provides many essential benefits to e-Learning, but the current system architecture has some disadvantages. The authors analyzed these disadvantages and proposed an improved LCMS (ILCMS) framework. The new framework evolves from local to global. It starts with a local system for local users, and then connects with other local systems to build the broader network.

摘要:
Peer-to-peer or P2P technology is a collaborative technology premised on individual users voluntarily making computer resources available, such as files and computing services. Nodes in the network play the role both of a client and a server. This paper firstly analyzed the characters of collaborative learning. Then it expounded the advantages of collaboration learning on peer-to-peer environment. Based on the analysis, the authors proposed some critical components of a P2P based collaborative learning system. Such as collaborative learning tools, learning group, teacher's role, etc. At last, they put forward some basic modules of a collaborative learning system base on P2P. These modules include file sharing module, file downloading module, instant messaging module, distributed search module, membership management Module and publish/subscribe service module.

摘要:
Rapid development of E-Learning applications brings large requirements of Virtual Classroom learning resources. Especially in teachers lecture courseware. However, the high technical requirement of courseware developers and low reusability of learning resources heavily impede the process of E-learning. There is an urgent need for virtual classroom system to assist teachers to develop and transmit standard and reusable courseware. The paper presented a virtual classroom system based on SCORM specification (VCS). The system has two major features. One provides visual courseware conforming to SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) specification. It can be reused and shared by the computer all over the world. Another key feature is development of the real classroom. It provides the standard service for the online students.

摘要:
Characteristic of wireless sensor network and difference with Ad Hoc network are briefly introduced firstly. On the basis of analyzing of some existed route update methods, a new sensor network route update approach has been proposed by utilize the sequence of the sink node. Also the material implements and the performance evaluation of this algorithm are presented.

摘要:
With the rapid increase of learning resources, the contradiction between learning content Intelligent Properties and its share and reuse becomes an outstanding event. In order to solve the problem, we probe into a way to integrate the DRM technologies and learning technology standards into the development of a learning content management system. We also design a novel online management system for broadcasting environments of virtual classroom or courseware on demand based on a Browser/Server framework, which carries out learning content management for reuse, share, interoperation and security. We place particular emphasis on the strategies of integration of digital rights management and flexible commercial model by license services into application, management, exchange and trade of web-based learning content and try to solve the problem between reuse and protection.

This work presents the blocking performance of a single node with (full or limited) wavelength conversion in wavelength routed optical networks (WRON) based on the theory of probability. A blocking probability model is proposed. Particularly, we pay more attention to investigate wavelength routing node performance improvement by using the more feasible case of limited wavelength conversion. Based on our analytical model, we calculate the blocking probability for a single wavelength routing node and then make a simulation to validate it. It is shown that a node with low conversion degrees having a small number of fiber link ports and a large number of wavelengths per link is a more realistic choice.

With the development of mobile telecommunication network, users of CDMA advanced their request of network service quality. While the operators also change their network management object from signal coverage to performance improvement. In that case, reasonably layout & optimization of mobile telecommunication network, reasonably configuration of network resource, improvement of the service quality, and increase the enterprise's core competition ability, all those have been concerned by the operator companies. This paper firstly looked into the flow of CDMA network optimization. Then it dissertated to some keystones in the CDMA network optimization, like PN code assignment, calculation of soft handover, etc. As GSM is also the similar cellular mobile telecommunication system like CDMA, so this paper also made a contrast research of CDMA and GSM network optimization in details, including the similarity and the different. In conclusion, network optimization is a long time job; it will run through the whole process of network construct. By the adjustment of network hardware (like BTS equipments, RF systems, etc.) and network software (like parameter optimized, configuration optimized, capacity optimized, etc.), network optimization work can improve the performance and service quality of the network.
