摘要:
Design and application of learning activity is an important content in e-learning. The paper firstly analyzes the state of art in designing learning activities, including Simple Sequence specification, Educational Markup Language, Learning Design theory and so on. In aspect of the compounding application between learning activities and learning resources, the paper discusses the basic designing strategy of the learning activities, and builds up the model to integrate learning resources and learning tools into learning activities. Based on the related learning theory, a case is discussed to design learning activities for a lesson. According to a true lesson using LAMS system, it analyzes the applied strategy and outcomes of the learning activities design. By the experiment, the results show that the integration of learning activities and learning resources can promote learning performance.

Web-based education encouraged learner-centered, individualized study way. After analyzing the individualization situation of the web course in our country, aiming at the problem of the common deficiency of individualization in web course, combining with the Chinese E-Learning Technology Standard(CELTS) ,this paper constructed the systematic frame of the learner-based web course, and primarily debated how to realize the individualization of web course based on the learners' characteristics, and also it's advantage.

In recent years, the network attack become more and more widespread and difficult in against. The traditional technique, such as Firewall is good, but when malicious traffic originates from inside network or enters through a hole in the firewall you may need another line of defense to protect you. This is a article introducing the concepts of IDS, what they do, the functions they serve, the classification of IDS, how you might use an IDS to monitor for and detect suspicious or malicious activity on the network and the different methods of intrusion detection that they may employ.

摘要:
Based on the Lyapunov stability, an adaptive sliding mode controller for uncertain time-delay systems is presented. Sliding mode motion of the closed-loop system from any initial states can asymptotically approach to zero in the finite time, which avoids need of the upper bound of perturbations. By applying free-weighting Matrices technique and delay transformation model, a delay-dependent sufficient condition is derived to guarantee the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system. A numerical example is given to illustrate the feasibility of the proposed control methodology.

摘要:
Synchronization of unified chaotic systems and its application to secure communication are discussed. An adaptive control strategy for synchronization of unified chaotic systems in the present of uncertain parameter and external disturbances is presented, which can lead to achieve quickly synchronization between the drive chaotic system and the response chaotic system. After transformation of the useful signal, a secure communication based on chaotic masking is derived, which can guarantee the useful signals recover quickly from the receive system. Simulations show that the synchronization of unified chaotic systems and secure communication are feasible and effective.

As one of the first batch universities which supply Free Education for Normal School Students, Huazhong Normal University started one of 985 teacher education innovation platform projects "The establishment of central region teacher education reform and the construction of creative experiment base". Taking one of the programs "E-learning support platform for Students with Free Normal Education" as an example, this paper design a standardized scheme of resource database on the platform. The innovation of the article is that the scheme integrated three learning resource standards to the maximum extent, and through three steps the learning resources will be completely packaged as standard components. We hope this paper will provide some information for universities and developers who concerned about this area.

With the continuing growth of the internet, more and more people are taking advantage of distance learning courses. However, most of long-distance education systems can not be effectively implemented chemical experimental teaching. Learners can not make a practice in network environment, which is not conducive to the consolidation of learning and practice skills training. In addition, some existing chemical experimental systems have mostly used multimedia courseware or flash that is a two-dimensional and lack of interactive. To solve theseproblems, this paper proposes a three-dimensional interactive virtual chemical laboratory framework based on VRML. The framework is based on constructivist learning theory, three-dimensional modeling and scene interactive technology of VRML.Through using three-dimensional modeling, the system can show a real experimental environment. At the same time, utilizing scene interactive technology,it can implement the complex human-machine interaction in chemistry, so that the learners get the senses of realism and immersion.

Learner characteristics will determine the way they respond to both formal and informal learning environments. This paper explored learners' characteristics in distance learning, analyzed what should be improved in existing characteristics models, and then proposed a characteristics model of distance learners. According to this model, the characteristics of distance learners are divided into four features: demographic feature, environment feature, psychological feature and strategy feature. The research carried out with analysis on distance learners in China. The purpose of the research was to improve the educational experience of students studying distance learning courses.

摘要:
A novel load balance technique based on rumor mongering in structured P2P networks is presented in this paper to address the hotspot problem when using DHT P2P networks as the distributed index systems. The basic idea is making use of the periodical topology maintenance communications to piggyback and spread popular information by way of rumor mongering in background. It is shown in the paper that, this rumor mongering technique is able to spread information quickly among nodes in structured P2P networks without introducing additional communication overhead, which effectively reduces load on hotspots.

The educational information resource management system, which is based on SOA, achieves the goal of "change as need" for the system, ensures rapid update of the businesses and functions, improves the services of reuse, shortens the system development cycle, and cuts down the developed costs. This paper firstly analyzed the current educational resources management system, and found the existing problems, so it is suggested to developed resource management system based on the SOA, and it also demonstrates the advantages of the SOA-based resource management system. Then the paper introduces detailedly the Overall design of the educational resource management system based on the SOA, the system functions, and the system business process, and this paper also focuses on the implementation of the services related to the system, services Registration, discovery and call and the key technology of the services combination and flow arrangement.

LAMS (learning activity management system) is a very flexible learning design tool. With the combination of LAMS and the content, teachers/lecturers can easily organize the learning activities for the Students in e-learning. This paper focuses oil the application and functions of LAMS ill college and university e-learning. Through formal research and evaluation of the impact of LAMS on e-learning in 3 disciplines (carried out in Huazhong Normal University), the presentation summarizes both the merits and the downsides of the application of LAMS in College & university e-learning and concludes with reflection oil how further work will go oil.

Many computer graphics require complex, highly detailed models. However, the level of detail actually necessary may vary considerably. To control processing time, it is often desirable to use approximations in place of excessively detailed models. Triangle mesh simplification has significant application in 3D modelling; geometric element decimation algorithm is one of the triangle mesh simplification algorithms, which has many advantages over other simplification algorithm. We have developed a surface simplification algorithm which can rapidly produce high quality approximations of polygonal models. The algorithm uses iterative contractions of edges to simplify models and can control the error effectively.
