摘要:
Mercury ion (Ⅱ) is known as one of the most toxic metal ions both for humans and the environment. In this work,a new fluorescent probe based on dansyl dye was designed and synthesized, and its determining property towards metal cations was investigated. The result indicated that this dansyl-based fluorescent probe possessed high selectivity and good sensitivity towards mercury ion (Ⅱ) in an aqueous media without any interference from other metal cations. It was worth mentioning that the detection limit of mercury ion (Ⅱ) can reach to 2.1 × 10~(-8) mol/L. Such low detection limit and good water-solubility supported this probe could be used to visualize the level of mercury ion (Ⅱ) in living cells. Furthermore,the bioimaging experiment confirmed that this probe had good membrane permeability and biocompatibility.
摘要:
Luminescent, chemosensors for chiral molecules have drawn significant attention. In this study, a new iridium complex 1 bearing two urea groups and ethyl naphthalene groups was synthesized as a phosphorescent chemosensor for chiral anion recognition. Addition of t-Boc amino acids induced phosphorescence enhancement with the maximum emission at 560 nm. As large as K-D/K-L value of 5.0 was observed for iridium complex 1 with phenylgylcine. Two urea groups provide a preorganized binding site for the carboxylates, whereas two ethyl naphthalenes act as chiral barriers. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

A fluorescent sensor for halogenated solvents termed AMN is reported. AMN shows strong fluorescence in most halogenated solvents (QE > 0.1) but weak fluorescence (QE<0.01) in most non-halogenated solvents. In chlorinated solvents, the fluorescence intensity decreased with the reduction of chlorine content. On the contrary, in brominated solvents the fluorescence intensity increased with the reduction of bromine content. It is worth mentioning that AMN displayed fluorescence emission centered at 520 nm in CCl4 with a quantum yield of 0.607, at 556 nm in CHCl3 with a quantum yield of 0.318, at 584 nm in CH2Cl2 with a quantum yield of 0.128, whereas in CHBr3 was centered at 441 nm with a quantum yield of 0.012. AMN was shown to have the ability to differentiate CCl4, CHCl3, CH2Cl2 and CHBr3 halogenated solvents.
摘要:
A novel naphthalimide-based fluorescent probe employing a sulfonamide unit as a thiol-responsive group is reported. It is capable of efficiently distinguishing GSH from cysteine and homocysteine. Bioimaging shows that it has high selectivity in living cells and can visualize the level of GSH in lysosomes. It is worth mentioning that different groups on the imide unit can affect the selectivity and reaction dynamics of the probe towards thiols.

A new dinuclear-copper(II) complex (Cu-L2) with two ammonium arms based on bis-2-((pyridin-2-ylmethylamino)methyl)phenol as the coordinated unit was synthesized. The complex exhibited high affinity with pyrophosphate (PPi) in aqueous solution. Using pyrocatechol violet (PV) as a colorimetric indicator, the indicator displacement assay (IDA) was carried out to determine the binding constant between the complex and PPi. A ca. 784-fold enhancement was founded when compared Cu-L2 to ammonium-free counterpart (Cu-L1). The new dinuclear complex was successfully used to monitor the hydrolysis of PPi catalyzed by pyrophosphatase (PPase). Furthermore, by employing esculetine as a fluorescent indicator, the complex was also used to detect PPi released during polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
