Mono(iminophosphorane) 4 was selectively prepared from the reaction of 3,4-diaminothieno[2,3-b]thiophene 3 with excess triphenylphosphine, C(2)Cl(6), and Et(3)N due to intramolecular double hydrogen bond formation. Mono(iminophosphorane) 4 reacted with aromatic isocyanates to give stable carbodiimides 8, which were further treated with aliphatic secondary or primary amines to give 2-amino substituted thieno[3',2':4,5]thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidin-4(3H)-ones 10 or 12 in the presence of a catalytic amounts of EtO(-)Na(+). However, in the presence of a catalytic amounts of potassium carbonate, the carbodiimides 8 were transformed into previously unreported 5H-2,3-dithia-5,7-diaza-cyclopenta[c,d]indenes 13 via direct cyclization in high yields. The reaction of carbodiimides 8 with phenols in the presence of a catalytic amounts of potassium carbonate gave a mixture of 2-aryloxy substituted thieno[3',2':4,5]thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidin-4(3H)-ones 14 and 13. X-ray structure analysis of 10m supported the structure and the proposed reactivity of amino group. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

The crystal structure of the new title compound 2-ethoxy-3-n-butyl- benzofuro[2,3d]pyrimidin-4(3H)-one (C_(16)H_(18)N_2O_3, M_r = 286.32) has been prepared and determined by singlecrystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal is of monoclinic, space group P2_1/c with a = 13.7167(14), b = 13.113(1), c = 8.378(1) A, β = 98.992(2)^o, V = 1488.4(3) A~3, Z = 4, Dc = 1.278, F(000) = 608, μ = 0.089 mm~(-1), MoKa radiation (2 = 0.71073), R = 0.0498, wR = 0.1238 for 2336 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ(I). X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that all ring atoms in the benzo[4, 5]furo [2,3-d] pyrimi- dinone moieties are almost coplanar.

(Chemical Equation Presented) 1-Aryl-3-(2-ethoxycarbonylphenyl) carbodiimides 2, obtained from aza-Wittig reactions of iminophosphorane 1 with aryl isocyanates, reacted with primary diamines in 1:1 and 2:1 molar ratio under mild conditions to give selectively the regioisomers 3-aminoalkyl-2- arylaminoquinazolin-4(3H)-ones 3 and 3,3′-disubstituted bis-2-arylaminoquinazolin-4(3H)-ones 4 in good yields, respectively. To fully characterize the regioselectivity of aza-Wittig reactions of 1-aryl-3-(2-ethoxycarbonylphenyl)carbo-diimides with primary diamines, crystals of 4e were obtained, and its structure was determined by X-ray crystallography.

(Chemical Equation Presented) The carbodiimides 5, obtained from reactions of iminophosphorane 4 with aromatic isocyanates, reacted with amines, phenols or ROH to give 2-substituted 5,6,7,8-tetrahydropyrido[4′,3′:4,5] thieno[2,3-d]-pyrimidin-4(3H)-one 7 in the presence of catalytic amount of sodium alkoxide or solid potassium carbonate in satisfactory yields.

The title compounds 3,5,6,7-tetrahydro-4H-cyclopenta[4,5]thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-ones(6) were syn-thesized by base catalytic reactions of secondary amines with carbodiimides 4,which were obtained from the aza-Wittig reaction of iminophosphoranes(3) with aromatic isocyanates.
摘要:
Abstract 2‐(3H)Benzothiazolethiones (2‐mercaptobenzothiazole) are prepared by an improved method, which utilizes microwave‐assisted cyclization of the corresponding ortho‐haloanlines with potassium O‐ethyl dithiocarbonate. By using microwave irradiation, the relative reactivity of 2‐chloroanilines was greatly improved to the same level as that of 2‐fluoroanilines and 2‐bromoanilines.

摘要:
Novel 5-(2-chlorophenylmethylidene)-2-thio-4-imidazolinones 3 and 2-Alkythio-5-(2-chlorophenylmethylidene)-4H-imidazolin-4-ones 4 have been synthesized via a tandem aza-Wittig reaction to develop more imidazolinones that may possess biological activities. The target compounds were identified by GC-MS, IR, and 1H NMR spectroscopies, and element analysis, and, in the case of 4k, its structure was established by single crystal X-ray diffraction. They showed not only fungicidal activities against Gibberella zeae, Cercospora beticola, Fusarium oxysporium, Rhizoctonia solani, and Botryosphaeria berengeriana, but also growth inhibition of Barnyard grass and Cole root and stalk.
