摘要:
The transformation of CO2 into a single product is a critical scientific challenge because of the difficulty associated with targeted activation and conversion of CO2 by heterogeneous catalysts. Herein, we present an atomic-scale dispersed Co-N species anchored Co@C hybrid structure (entitled as Co@CoN&C) that regulates catalytic properties in thermodynamic and kinetic processes to achieve active and highly selective CO yield in the photothermal CO2 reduction. An optimal sample delivers the maximum yield rate of 132 mmol gcat. -1 h-1 and remarkable CO selectivity (91.1%), while the undesirable methanation activity, compared with typical Co nanoparticles (NPs), was suppressed. The mechanism study suggests that the strong photon-matter interaction over graphitic-carbon and Co NPs can enhance the light-to-heat conversion efficiency and thus induce the high work temperature, which is thermodynamically beneficial for CO2 activation and subsequently promoted the catalytic activity. Furthermore, the carbon layers improve the adsorption of CO2, and the surface atomically dispersed Co-N species weakens hydrogenation capability, which kinetically controls the reaction pathway and therefore attains the high selectivity for CO production. This study exemplifies that the microstructure design can modulate the thermodynamic and kinetic factors of photochemical reaction and thereby achieve potential solar-to-chemical energy conversion. © 2020 American Chemical Society.

Electrospun core-shell nanofibers as an adsorbent for on-line micro-solid phase extraction of monohydroxy derivatives of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons from human urine, and their quantitation by LC-MS.

摘要:
A method is described for automatted on-line micro-solid phase extraction using polydopamine-modified polystyrene/silica electrospun nanofibers as an adsorbent for monohydroxy metabolites of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (OH-PAHs). They were then quantified by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. The sorbent has a network structure, high porosity, stability, hydrophilicity and good extraction capacity. Under optimal experimental conditions, the method has (a) wide linear ranges (0.03-25 ng.mL(-1) for 3-hydroxyphenanthrene and 1-hydroxypyrene; and 0.05-25 ng.mL(-1) for 2-naphthol), (b) good precision (with relative standard deviations from 2.0 to 12.4%), (c) high enrichment factors (24-112), (d) low limits of detection (2-21 pg.mL(-1)), and (e) acceptable recoveries from spiked samples (79.1 to 108%). The method was successfully applied for the analysis of trace OH-PAHs in urine. <jats:sec><jats:label /><jats:p>Although photocatalytic hydrogen evolution is significant for solar conversion and energy supply, the photocatalytic efficiency is hampered by the low photoinduced holes mobility. Herein, the 2D Ni(OH)<jats:sub>2</jats:sub> as an operational cocatalyst is integrated with 2D graphitic carbon nitride (2D‐CN) ultrafine to form a 2D/2D heterojunction to improve the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution. Due to the high mobility attribute of the Ni(OH)<jats:sub>2</jats:sub> holes and the unique 2D/2D heterojunction of Ni(OH)<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>/CN, the specific photocatalyst Ni(OH)<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>/2D‐CN accelerates the photocarrier separation/transport, thereby achieving the breakthrough of continuous photocatalytic hydrogen evolution without using Pt cocatalyst and sacrificial agent. Above all, the as‐obtained Ni(OH)<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>/2D‐CN exhibits a hydrogen evolution rate of 921.4 μmol h<jats:sup>−1</jats:sup> g<jats:sup>−1</jats:sup> with an external quantum efficiency of 5.21% at 400 nm using 10% triethanolamine as a sacrificial agent. The work provides a new research approach for the catalytic conversion of energy.</jats:p></jats:sec>

摘要:
New N-substituted-3-phenyl-1,6-naphthyridinone derivatives are designed and synthesized, based on structural modification of our previously reported compound 3. Extensive enzyme-based SAR studies and PK evaluation led to the discovery of compound 4r, with comparable c-Met potency to that of Cabozantinib and high VEGFR-2 selectivity, while Cabozantinib displayed no VEGFR-2 selectivity. More importantly, at oral doses of 45 mg/kg (Q.D.), compound 4r exhibits significant tumor growth inhibition (93%) in a U-87MG human gliobastoma xenograft model. The promising selectivity against VEGFR-2 and excellent tumor growth inhibition of compound 4r suggest that it could be used as a new lead molecule for further discovery of selective type II c-Met inhibitors.

摘要:
In this study, a novel multiwalled carbon nanotubes/polyaniline-polypyrrole@polydimethylsiloxane (MWCNTs/PANI-PPy@PDMS) fiber was prepared by a facile electrodeposition strategy followed by polymer surface modification, and used as the sorbent of in vivo solid phase microextraction (in vivo SPME). The custom-made fiber exhibits better enrichment capacity than three commercial SPME fibers. Ultra-high enrichment factor (438–2659), satisfactory thermal and mechanical stability, excellent matrix-compatibility and anti-biofouling ability render the fiber attractive as in vivo sampling probe. Combining in vivo SPME with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), a convenient and sensitive method was successfully developed for the rapid determination of pesticides (hexachlorobenzene, chlorothalonil, fipronil, chlorfenapyr) in garlic. Under the optimal conditions, the proposed method displays relatively wide linear range (three or four orders of magnitude) with a coefficient of determination above 0.9944 both in the standard solution and spiked homogenized garlic samples, respectively. Low detection limits from 0.38 to 1.90 ng g−1 were obtained in homogenized garlic samples. Relative standard deviations (RSDs) less than 15.5% and recovery between 84.0% and 108.2% indicate satisfactory precision and accuracy of the method. In summary, a promising non-lethal method based on in vivo SPME-GC-MS is developed in this study, which provides a green, efficient, economic and rapid strategy for the determination of trace pesticide residues in edible plants. © 2019 Elsevier B.V.

In this work, an innovative aptamer-based magnetic adsorbent (Fe3O4@PDA-aptamer MNPs) was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis method followed by the surface functionalization of nanoparticles. After fixing in a steel stainless tube as sorbent of magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE), an online magnetic solid phase extraction-high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (online-MSPE-HPLC-MS) method was developed and applied for the determination of 8-hydroxy-2′-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) and monohydroxylated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (OH-PAHs) simultaneously in urine. The synthesized sorbent presented outstanding features, including large specific surface area, high enrichment capacity and excellent stability. High throughput analysis can be achieved by affinity-specific adsorption of 8-OHdG and non-specific adsorption of OH-PAHs at the same time. In addition, online MSPE can greatly simplify the analysis process, reduce human errors and enhance the sensitivity. When compared with offline MSPE, a sensitivity enhancement of 30–400 times was obtained for the online method. Some experimental parameters such as the amount of the sorbent, sampling flow rate and sample volume, were optimized systematically. Under the optimal conditions, the limits of detection (LOD) were in the range of 0.028–0.114 ng mL−1, and the correlation coefficients (R2) were higher than 0.9962. The relative standard deviations (RSDs) were less than 16.1% (n = 5) and the recoveries ranged from 71% to 116%. The above results show that the rapid, sensitive and automated online-MSPE-HPLC-MS method has potential application in the simultaneous determination of 8-OHdG and PAHs in complex sample matrix to assess the environmental exposure level. © 2019 Elsevier B.V.

摘要:
The exploration of monohydroxy polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) produced by oxidative stress and DNA damage is a powerful and non-invasive tool to study the health risk of exposure to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). A nanocomposite prepared from graphene oxide, poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) and polypyrrole was electrodeposited on the internal surface of a stainless-steel tube for online in-tube solid phase microextraction (IT-SPME) of 8-OHdG, 3-hydroxyphenanthrene and 1-hydroxypyrene from urine. The coating possesses excellent chemical and mechanical stability, high extraction efficiency, good resistance to matrix interference, and a long lifespan. An online IT-SPME-high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry method was developed for the determination of these three metabolite biomarkers in human urine. Figures of merit include (a) enrichment factors of 30-48; (b) low limits of detection (4-41 pg.mL(-1) at S/N = 3); (c) wide linear ranges (0.05-50 ng.mL(-1)); (d) good recoveries from spiked samples (71.6-109.5%); and (e) acceptable repeatability (2.3-14.6%). The method offers the advantages of low cost, simplicity, sensitivity, rapidity and automation. The interplay of salicylic acid (SA) and reactive oxygen species (ROS) can modulate biotic and abiotic stress of plants, essential biological aerobic oxidation processes. Meanwhile, ROS plays a critical role in TiO2 photocatalytic system for the degradation of organic species. Herein, we developed a system consisted of SA and TiO2 aiming at the selective oxidation of organic molecules by ROS. Interestingly, SA complexed with TiO2 leads to ligand-to-metal charge transfer (LMCT) under visible light irradiation. The charge transfer from ligand (chemically adsorbed SA) to metal (conduction band of TiO2) activates O2 to ROS, superoxide (O2[rad]−). The positive charge located at ligand SA is connected with (2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-1-yl)oxyl (TEMPO) catalysis for direct two-electron oxidation of amines and later regenerated by O2[rad]−. SA and its derivatives were screened as ligands of TiO2 for the selective aerobic oxidation of amines into imines under blue light-emitting diode (LED) irradiation in which 5-CH3O-SA (5-methoxysalicylic acid, 0.8 mol%) complexed with anatase TiO2 and coupled with TEMPO (5 mol%) confers significantly better results than the others. By this visible light LMCT route, both primary amines and secondary amines can be selectively oxidized into corresponding imines with atmosphere O2 as the terminal oxidant. Importantly, the desired product of N-benzylidenebenzylamine can be isolated in 92% yield. © 2018 Elsevier B.V.

摘要:
Hydrogen production from coal gasification provides a cleaning approach to convert coal resource into chemical energy, but the key procedures of coal gasification and thermal catalytic water-gas shift (WGS) reaction in this energy technology still suffer from high energy cost. We herein propose adopting a solar-driven WGS process instead of traditional thermal catalysis, with the aim of greatly decreasing the energy consumption. Under light irradiation, the CuOx /Al2 O3 delivers excellent catalytic activity (122 mumol gcat (-1) s(-1) of H2 evolution and >95 % of CO conversion) which is even more efficient than noble-metal-based catalysts (Au/Al2 O3 and Pt/Al2 O3 ). Importantly, this solar-driven WGS process costs no electric/thermal power but attains 1.1 % of light-to-energy storage. The attractive performance of the solar-driven WGS reaction over CuOx /Al2 O3 can be attributed to the combined photothermocatalysis and photocatalysis.

摘要:
A novel solid phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (SPME-GC-MS) method was developed to quantify two new fungicide residuals (Y13149, Y12196) in mung bean sprouts. With a stable and biocompatible elcetrospinning nanofiber (polystyrene/graphene@silica, PS/G@SiO2) as coating, the SPME fiber was directly inserted into the stem of mung bean sprout to in-situ in-vivo sampling and extraction, followed by GC-MS analysis. Under the optimal conditions, satisfactory average recoveries of 99% and 72% were obtained for Y13149 and Y12196 with the relative standard deviations (RSDs) under 16.3%, indicating good precision and anti-matrix ability of the method. The result also exhibited low detection limit (0.06-0.08mug.L(-1)) and wide liner range (0.3-100mug.L(-1)) with the correlation coefficients (R(2)) of 0.9989. The established method was applied successfully to trace the accumulation and distribution of fungicides in mung bean sprouts, and it provides a simple, rapid and reliable quantitative method for food analysis.

Cu-Based catalysts are currently used for the low-temperature water-gas shift (WGS) reaction, where the metallic Cu acts as the main active site. Under light irradiation, the Cu nanoparticles absorb photons, and electrons are promoted to the excited state. Then, the rapid relaxation of those excited electrons further drives the excited lattice phonon mode to generate heat in the local environment. This leads to a relatively high temperature at the catalytic reaction site. Herein, Cu-based catalysts were fabricated, and their catalytic activities for the WGS reaction were tested under the light irradiation of a xenon lamp without any additional heat treatment. Time-dependent temperature monitoring revealed that the temperature reached at 300 °C in 3 min, and then stabilized at ca. 350 °C for those Cu catalysts, which provided sufficient energy to overcome the energetic barrier and initiate the WGS reaction. Various metal oxides were optimized to function as the support, and Cu-ZnO exhibited the highest photothermal catalytic activity, which could produce 9.5 mmol of H2 in 30 min and had the CO conversion efficiency as high as 86.8%. The superior catalytic activity was ascribed to the strengthened interaction between the intermediate formate species and the partially oxidized Zn in the Cu-ZnO catalyst. © 2019 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

摘要:
The mild recognition sites of oxygen atoms and phenyl rings from 5-(4-pyridyl)-methoxyl isophthalic acid (5,4-PMIA2-) moieties and tetrakis(4-pyridyloxymethylene) methane (TPOM) linkers inside the channels of a novel three-dimensional microporous metal-organic framework (MOF) [Co2(5,4-PMIA)2(TPOM)0.5]·xsolvent (1) are presumed to provide pore environments with moderate contacts toward guests, as indicated by grand canonical Monte Carlo simulations, which appear to be beneficial for adsorption and separation applications. As expected, 1 represents one of the rare examples that show both high storage capacity of C2Hn and good adsorption selectivity of C2Hn/CH4 and CO2/CH4 under ambient conditions, and yet, it has significantly lower energy consumption for regeneration. In addition, a validated submicro-1-based microsolid-phase extraction (μ-SPE) method for the determination of trace monohydroxylated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in complex human urine was developed with satisfactory sensitivity and good precision by online coupling to liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, which represents the first example of a mixed-ligand MOF applied as an efficient sorbent for μ-SPE. 摘要:
The relationship between oxygen vacancy (OV) concentration of semiconductors and their photocatalytic performances is far from clarified. In this study, by tuning the OV concentration of BiOCl (001) surface via a novel H<inf>2</inf>O<inf>2</inf>treatment coupled infrared irradiation method, we demonstrate that OV concentration of BiOCl (001) surface strongly determine its surface atomic and electronic structures to modulate the photocatalytic pathways. Being of shorter Bi–Bi and Bi–O bond lengths as well as more electrons being less localized, BiOCl (001) surface with higher OV concentration favored molecular oxygen activation to generate O<inf>2</inf><sup>2−</sup>via a two-electron transfer pathway, while the generated O<inf>2</inf><sup>2−</sup>could prevent the over oxidation of amines and thus achieve high selectivity in the oxidation of amines to imines. Similar phenomena were also observed for other semiconductor photocatalysts such as TiO<inf>2</inf>and Nb<inf>2</inf>O<inf>5</inf>, suggesting the generality of oxygen vacancy concentration mediated selectivity enhancement. These findings shed light on the relationship between the oxygen vacancy concentration and the surface structure of semiconductor photocatalysts and offer a novel pathway to realize photocatalytic selective oxidation of amines to imines.<br/> ©2018 Elsevier B.V.

The exploration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) produced by cell lines may be a powerful and non-invasive tool for the study of the health risk of human exposure to atmospheric particulate matter (PM). In this work, we developed a sensitive solid phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method (SPME-GC-MS) to analyze VOCs in breathed gas of PM2.5-induced human embryonic fibroblast cell line (MRC-5). A novel graphene oxide/polyaniline/polydopamine (GO/PANI/PDA) coating was prepared on a stainless steel wire via electrochemical deposition and self-polymerization for the first time. The GO/PANI/PDA coating exhibited high extraction efficiency, good thermal stability (>380 ℃), excellent mechanical stability as well as long service time (>150 times). Parameters that may affect the results were optimized systematically. Under the optimal conditions, VOCs including benzene series, aldehydes and alkane were detected with low limit of detection (0.2–2.0 μg L<sup>−1</sup>) and good correlation (correlation coefficients above 0.9922). The relative standard deviations of within-day and between-day were 1.1–8.4% and 0.2–11.2%, respectively. Satisfactory recoveries of 82–117% indicated good repeatability of the method. The method has been successfully applied for the determination of target VOCs in the headspace gas of PM2.5-induced MRC-5 cell. And it is expected to provide an alternative tool for the study of cytotoxicology of atmospheric particulates.<br/> ©2018 Elsevier B.V.

In this work, an innovative magnetic aptamer adsorbent (Fe3O4-aptamer MNPs) was synthesized for the selective extraction of 8-hydroxy-2′-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG). Amino-functionalized-Fe3O4 was crosslinked with 8-OHdG aptamer by glutaraldehyde and fixed into a steel stainless tube as the sorbent of magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE). After selective extraction by the aptamer adsorbent, the adsorbed 8-OHdG was desorbed dynamically and online analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS). The synthesized sorbent presented outstanding features, including specific selectivity, high enrichment capacity, stability and biocompatibility. Moreover, this proposed MSPE-HPLC-MS can achieve adsorption and desorption operation integration, greatly simplify the analysis process and reduce human errors. When compared with offline MSPE, a sensitivity enhancement of 800 times was obtained for the online method. Some experimental parameters such as the amount of the sorbent, sample flow rate and sample volume, were optimized systematically. Under the optimal conditions, low limit of detection (0.01 ng mL−1, S/N = 3), limit of quantity (0.03 ng mL−1, S/N = 10) and wide linear range with a satisfactory correlation coefficient (R2 ≥ 0.9992) were obtained. And the recoveries of 8-OHdG in the urine samples varied from 82% to 116%. All these results revealed that the method is simple, rapid, selective, sensitive and automated, and it could be expected to become a potential approach for the selective determination of trace 8-OHdG in complex urinary samples. © 2017 Elsevier B.V.

In this article, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) modified nanofibers that represent a novel kind of packing materials for micro-solid phase extraction (μ-SPE) is reported for the first time. The composite material was fabricated through in-situ formation of AgNPs on the polydopamine (PDA) coated polystyrene electrospun fibers (PS@PDA-Ag). The nanofibers displayed desirable hydrophilicity, large surface area, high porosity, good extraction ability and certain capacity to resist matrix interference. A μ-SPE combined with liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC–MS) method was developed for the online determination of three monohydroxy polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (OH-PAHs) metabolites in human urine. Under the optimal conditions, good linearity (0.02–5 ng mL<sup>−1</sup>) was acquired with the correlation coefficients (R<sup>2</sup>) being larger than 0.9962. Low limits of detection (0.007–0.032 ng mL<sup>−1</sup>) expressed the satisfactory sensitivity of the method. Moreover, the intraday relative standard deviation values lower than 9.7% and the recoveries among the range of 71–116% were obtained. In general, the online μ-SPE-LC–MS method had the features of simplicity, rapidity, sensitivity and automation, and it was expected to become a promising approach for the online analysis of trace OH-PAHs in complex biological samples. ©2017 Elsevier B.V.

Compared with imaging in the visible (400–650 nm) and near-infrared window I (NIR-I, 650–900 nm) regions, imaging in near-infrared window II (NIR-II, 1000–1700 nm) is a highly promising in vivo imaging modality with improved resolution and deeper tissue penetration. Here, a small molecule NIR-II dye,5,5′-(1H,5H-benzo[1,2-c:4,5-c′] bis[1,2,5]thiadiazole)-4,8-diyl)bis(N,N-bis(4-(3-((tert-butyldimethylsilyl)oxy)propyl)phenyl) thiophen-2-amine), is successfully encapsulated into phospholipid vesicles to prepare a probe CQS1000. The novel NIR-II probe is studied for in vivo multifunctional biological imaging. The results of this study indicate that the NIR-II vesicle CQS1000 can noninvasively and dynamically visualize and monitor many physiological and pathological conditions of circulatory systems, including lymphatic drainage and routing, angiogenesis of tumor, and vascular deformity such as arterial thrombus formation and ischemia with high spatial and temporal resolution. More importantly, by virtue of the favorable half-life of blood circulation of CQS1000, NIR-II imaging is capable of aiding precise resection of tumor such as osteosarcoma and accelerating the process of lymph node dissection to complete sentinel lymph node biopsy for better decision making during the tumor surgery. Overall, CQS1000 is a highly promising NIR-II probe for multifunctional biomedical imaging in physiological and pathological conditions, surpassing traditional NIR-I imaging modality and pathologic assessments for clinical diagnosis and treatment. © 2017 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. In this work, electrospun polystyrene/metal-organic frameworks-199 (PS/MOF-199) nanofiber film was synthesized and investigated as a novel adsorbent for thin film microextraction (TFME) of aldehydes in human urine. Some properties of the prepared PS/MOF-199 nanofiber film, including morphology, structure, wettability, solvent stability and extraction performance were studied systematically. Porous fibrous structure, large surface area, good stability, strong hydrophobicity and excellent extraction efficiency were obtained for the film. Based on the PS/MOF-199 film, a thin film microextraction-high performance liquid chromatography (TFME-HPLC) method was developed, and the experimental parameters that affected the extraction and desorption were optimized. Under the optimal conditions, the limits of detection (LODs) were in the range of 4.2–17.3 nmol L<sup>−1</sup>for the analysis of six aldehydes. Good linearity was achieved with correlation coefficients (R<sup>2</sup>) being lager than 0.9943. Satisfactory recovery (82–112%) and acceptable reproducibility (relative standard deviation: 2.1–13.3%) were also obtained for the method. The developed TFME-HPLC method has been successfully applied to the analysis of aldehyde metabolites in the urine samples of lung cancer patients and healthy people. The method possesses the advantages of simplicity, rapidity, cost-effective, sensitivity and non-invasion, it provides an alternative tool for the determination of aldehydes in complex sample matrices. ©2016 Elsevier B.V.
