摘要:
This paper designs and implements the automatic invigilation functions using the embedded technology. It proposes a framework for automatic invigilation, which conducts the invigilation functions of the entire examination process. In the examination preparation stage, the framework collects the registration details of examinees and verifies the details with the database through the remote server. During the examination ongoing stage, it keeps checking the consistence between each examinee and his examination materials by photographing the examinee and scanning the QR codes on examination papers, sketch papers, and answer sheets. In the examination ending stage, it checks the consistence of an examination bag and the materials being put into it by scanning and verifying the QR codes on them. The framework reduces the human workload by using automatic functions to replace the human work. The tests demonstrates that the framework can perform the designed functions. (C) 2020 The Authors. This paper presents an algorithm for understanding problems from circuit schematics in exercise problems in physics at secondary school. This paper models the problem understanding as a problem of extracting a set of relations that can be used to solve problems with enough information. The challenges lie in not only analyzing the circuit schematics but also extracting the proper relations for a given exercise problem. To face these challenges a novel approach is proposed to detect circuit nodes with their current flows to extract the current equations for nodes. And the other novel approach is proposed to extract voltage equations of independent loops. The proposed approach was tested with a dataset collected from the text books and the exam papers for the students at secondary schools. Experimental results show that the effect of recognition and analysis we designed delivers promising result, and our approach can be adapted to more complex electrical circuit analysis.
摘要:
Extracting algebraic relations from a given circuit image is still a challenge task due to the complex topology of considered circuit. This paper presents an approach for extracting algebraic relations from circuit images through producing a set of atomic topologies from the complex topology of a given circuit. In which, algebraic relations, in form of a set of equations involving voltage, current and resistance relations from atomic topologies that is obtained by an iteratively operation of transforming a complex series/parallel connection into a series of atomic connection topology breaking down and shrinking. The extracted algebraic relations can be used to solve the exercise problem described by the circuit. Experimental results on 20 exercise problems show that the proposed algorithm can obtain a complete set of algebraic relations that can be used to solve the given problem. Further experiments conducted on a dataset of 200 scanned circuit images from the text books and exam papers demonstrate the proposed algorithm is the robustness and effectiveness.

Speech interaction is a prominent interaction technology in educational robot, and educational robot with speech interaction can have a more harmonic and natural way of interaction. In some specific application scenarios such as education, the performance of speech recognition is not satisfactory due to the wide range of vocabularies and poor network. This paper trains the language model with professional vocabulary in the specific subject and establishes the corresponding phonetic dictionary in speech recognition based on Sphinx, and combines with speech synthesis based on Ekho to implement the speech interaction of educational robot in the offline state, and designs the relevant application of speech interaction about the teaching scenario of Chinese ancient poetry. The experiment demonstrates that the system designed and implemented can meet the demand of practical application of speech interaction in specific subject, and achieve the purpose of enhancing the student's learning experience and improving the learning effect.

The development of a guide robot with explanatory features has always been a subject of concern. Based on NAO, a guide robot with Chinese and English voice recognition and expression is implemented, which enables visitors to interact with the robot in the exhibition hall. This paper designs interaction scheme, using the exhibition hall of the project team as experimental environment, focusing on how to make robots provide explanation service, especially on understanding the questions from visitors and the emotional expression of answers to visitors. This paper uses existing speech recognition methods and designs the explanation content and the dialog form, which allows the robot to recognize the questions from visitors, and combine speech representation with robot body movements so that the robot can express emotions to a certain extent. Finally, this paper verified the robot in the plane exhibition hall specializing in foreign propaganda, and the robot is able to perform their daily work on explanation, and greatly enhance the interactive experience of visitors.

The educational robotics is a novel technology for preschooler's companion and can be used for lower level education. This paper presents an AI-based robot system for achieving educational aims, such as metacognition tutoring and geometrical thinking training, with characteristics of contextual teaching by mining knowledge from the real world directly. For metacognition tutoring in our system, objects in real world are detected and a set of learning materials associated with the objects is presented for learners. For example, when a cat is detected, the robot will teach learners to pronounce the "Cat" in different languages, and more knowledge about cat will be pushed to the learners. For geometrical thinking training, an automatic questioning-and-answering section is employed to engage the learner to think, which is carried by a voice interaction between learners and robots. In our experiment, a set of specific object images are captured to validate the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed system. Our study indicated that the proposed system succeeded in captivating the children and parents in maximizing the children's desire to explore.

This paper concerns the problem of video stitching automatically in a multi-camera surveillance system. Previous approaches have used multiple calibrated cameras for video mosaic in large scale monitoring application. In this work, we formulate video stitching as a multi-image registration and blending problem, and not all cameras are needed to be calibrated except a few selected master cameras. SURF is used to find matched pairs of image key points from different cameras, and then camera pose is estimated and refined. Homography matrix is employed to calculate overlapping pixels and finally implement boundary resample algorithm to blend images. The result of simulation demonstrates the efficiency of our method.

During the simulation process of real-time three-dimensional scene, the popular modeling software and the real-time rendering platform are not compatible. The common solution is to create three-dimensional scene model by using modeling software and then transform the format supported by rendering platform. This paper takes digital campus scene simulation as an example, analyzes and solves the problems of surface loss; texture distortion and loss; model flicker and so on during the transformation from 3Ds Max to MultiGen Creator. Besides, it proposes the optimization strategy of model which is transformed. The operation results show that this strategy is a good solution to all kinds of problems existing in transformation and it can speed up the rendering speed of the model.
