摘要:
A simple method for synthesizing titanium carbide (TiC) nanowires is demonstrated. TiC nanowires with a covered layer of graphite can be synthesized by the reaction of TiO gas with methane in the presence of a catalyst containing Fe. This graphite layer can be effectively removed by heating as-synthesized samples to 600 degreesC in air. The length of TiC nanowires is several hundreds of microns and their diameters range from 30 to 100nm. A growth mechanism of TiC nanowires involves vapor-liquid-solid reaction. 摘要:
The energies and the magnetization of an electron in a piece of metal in the structure of Metal/Insulator/Metal/Insulator… (M/I/M/I…), in a magnetic field, at high temperature, and in range of quantum size thickness of the piece of metal layer have been obtained. The results show that when the thickness of the metal layer becomes smaller, the orbital magnetism of the charged particles which collide with the wall of the metal layer is to vary from diamagnetism to paramagnetism. The smaller the thickness of the metal layer becomes, the more particles will collide with the boundary of the metal layer, and then the paramagnetism becomes stronger. Finally, when the thickness of the metal layer becomes very small (<100 nm), all of the orbital diamagnetism will reverse to paramagnetism, and then the paramagnetization will be almost a maximum constant.

WT5”BZ]The energies and the magnetization of an electron in a metal cylinder in a magnetic field, at high temperature, and in range of quantum size of the cylindrical radius have been obtained by the WKB method. The results show that the smaller the cylindrical radius of the metal is, the stronger the diamagnetism is, and approximately, in the range of 100nm, the diamagnetism reaches its maximum and is stronger 10 4~10 6 times than that of Landau's. Otherwise, we find a vibration of the magnetization of the system when the metal cylindrical radius becomes smaller than that value corresponding to the maximum diamagnetism.

High critical current density and in-plane aligned YBa2 Cu3 O7-x (YBCO) film on a textured yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) buffer layer deposited on NiCr alloy (Hastelloy c-275) tape by laser ablation with only O+ ion beam assistance was fabricated. The values of the x-ray phi-scan full width at half-maximum (FWHM) for YSZ(202) and YBCO(103) are 18° and 11°, respectively. The critical current density of YBCO film is 7.9 × 105 A cm-2 at liquid nitrogen temperature and zero field, and its critical temperature is 90 K.

摘要:
Based on the mechanism of film growth in IBAD, it is demonstrated that the energetics and the inertness of the assisting ions are crucial for the in-plane textured microstructures of the depositing YSZ films, the size and the mass of assisting ion beam being not. When the O<sup>+</sup> ion beam energy is increased to 500 eV and an electrode of electrons is placed in the path of the O<sup>+</sup> ion beam to neutralize the O<sup>+</sup> ions, the textured YSZ buffer layer on stainless steel substrate can be obtained. Then, a high critical current density and in-plane YBCO assistance can be fabricated.
