The book demonstrates some academic dialogue between Perloff and Harold Bloom over years, which reveals the subtle change in Perloff's critical ideas. The focuses of the dialogue-aesthetic criticism, language as the subj ect, and concern with realityconstitute the core value of Perl off's "differential reading," which witnesses her critical absorption of both New Criticism and Cultural Criticism and leads to her discovery of "the other tradition"the tradition of suggestive poetry neglected and rejected by New Criticism which devoted itself to the tradition of "symbolistic poetry".

This article mainly discusses the generative mechanism of the particle question, thetypical Chinese head-final sentence. It is held that evidence shows that though the head ma(吗) occursat the end of the sentence in the linear structure, in fact it generates at the beginning of the sentence inthe syntactic structure. The complement IP of the head ma does not undergo movement to generatethe Particle Question because there are problems with the motivations of the movement and more importantly, there is no IP movement cross-linguistically. It thus points out that Chinese particle ques-tion is generated because the head ma undergoes rightward movement so as to satisfy its requirementfor cliticization.

In her last masterpiece The Cleft, she negates the dualism on male power while tries not to make a new dualist mistake that woman and nature are superior to man and culture. So in this novel, she achieves her eco-feminism ideality which human and nature, man and woman are harmonic and unified. In this masterpiece, Lessing catches the nucleus policy of eco-feminism, tries to upset the duality antinomy that sense is superior to nature and man is superior to woman. She realizes that the ultimate way to solve the eco-crisis and social duality opposite is to construct a culture based on eco-feminist ethic in whicla man and woman coexist and man and nature live in harmony.

内容摘要:罗曼·加里的小说《天根》通过讲述上世纪五十年代发生在法属赤道非洲的猎象与反猎象的故事,试图唤起人们对生态的关注和保护.《天根》的成功既源于它深刻的思想内涵,更源于它别具一格的叙事形式.小说采用对话为主要叙事方式,并以其产生的内在动力将读者引入人物的不同维度.同时,这种特定的叙事策略也展现出作者、文本现象以及读者反应三者构建的复合关系.作者以不同的对话方式塑造人物,推动故事情节的发展,使小说的内容与形式相得益彰.本文试从聚焦式对话、剪接式对话和独白式对话等三个方面分析《天根》的对话叙事策略,以揭示小说深刻的思想内涵和独特的艺术魅力.Romain Gary's novel The Roots of Heaven tells of the story about elephant poaching and anti-poaching, which occurred in French Equatorial Africa in 1950s, as an attempt to arouse human's awareness of nature protection. The success of this novel not onlyresults from its profound ideological content, but also from its dialogues as a major element in its narrative art. The fiction applies dialogues as its main narrative mode, whose inner dynamic drives readers into the multiple dimensions of the characters in it. Furthermore, this special narrative strategy presents the composite relationship among the author, the text and the reader. Various dialogue strategies are utilized in the story's characterization and plot development, which contributes to the artistic unity between its content and form. This paper tries to analyze the narrative art of dialogues from the focused dialogue, clipped dialogue and monologue in The Roots of Heaven, which may help to reveal its deep ideological connotations and unique artistic charm.
