A highly significant structure is observed in the Λc+K-π+π+ mass spectrum, where the Λc+ baryon is reconstructed in the decay mode pK-π+. The structure is consistent with originating from a weakly decaying particle, identified as the doubly charmed baryon Ξcc++. The difference between the masses of the Ξcc++ and Λc+ states is measured to be 1334.94±0.72(stat.)±0.27(syst.) MeV/c2, and the Ξcc++ mass is then determined to be 3621.40±0.72(stat.)±0.27(syst.)±0.14(Λc+) MeV/c2, where the last uncertainty is due to the limited knowledge of the Λc+ mass. The state is observed in a sample of proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.7 fb-1, and confirmed in an additional sample of data collected at 8 TeV. © 2017 CERN, for the LHCb Collaboration.

摘要:
A three dimensional (3D) porous framework-like N-doped carbon (PFNC) with a high specific surface area was successfully fabricated through ammonia doping and graphitization based on pomelo peel. The obtained PFNC exhibits an enhanced specific capacitance (260 F g-1 at 1 A g-1) and superior cycling performance (capacitance retention of 84.2% after 10000 cycles at 10 A g-1) on account of numerous voids and pores which supply sufficient pathways for ion diffusion during cycling. Furthermore, a fabricated asymmetric PFNC//PFN device based on PFNC and porous flake-like NiO (PFN) arrays achieves a specific capacitance of 88.8 F g-1 at 0.4 A g-1 and an energy density of 27.75 Wh kg-1 at a power density of 300 W kg-1 and still retains 44 F g-1 at 10 A g-1 and 13.75 Wh kg-1 at power density of 7500 W kg-1. It is important that the device is able to supply two light-emitting diodes for 25 min, which demonstrates great application potential. © 2016 American Chemical Society.

Quite a contrast to the current rapid development of mobile applications, user data security, information security and privacy protection are still in the initial stage. Recently, there is a trend that users are facing more and more serious privacy violations in kinds of mobile APPs which are the main platforms of mobile information resource. Through research on samples of typical mobile news APPs, it is found that mobile news APPs are in serious condition of privacy violation up to now, especially for those APPs that asked for lots of improper permissions with high risk. Furthermore, we conclude that privacy violation risk in mobile information resource management is significantly and positively correlated with quality coefficient(Pearson=0.728, p<0.05) and transparency(Pearson=0.808, p<0.05) of advertising effectiveness. It means that mobile news APP with higher quality coefficient and transparency of advertising effectiveness will demonstrate more privacy violation risk. Starting with resource profit model, recommendations on the enhancement of privacy protection of mobile information resource are given from the perspective of risk assessment and management. ©2016, Research and Development Office of Wuhan University. A full amplitude analysis of Λb0→J/ψpπ- decays is performed with a data sample acquired with the LHCb detector from 7 and 8 TeV pp collisions, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb-1. A significantly better description of the data is achieved when, in addition to the previously observed nucleon excitations N→pπ-, either the Pc(4380)+ and Pc(4450)+→J/ψp states, previously observed in Λb0→J/ψpK- decays, or the Zc(4200)-→J/ψπ- state, previously reported in B0→J/ψK+π- decays, or all three, are included in the amplitude models. The data support a model containing all three exotic states, with a significance of more than three standard deviations. Within uncertainties, the data are consistent with the Pc(4380)+ and Pc(4450)+ production rates expected from their previous observation taking account of Cabibbo suppression. © 2016 CERN.

Problematic Internet use (PIU) creates psychological, social, school and/or work difficulties in a person's life. This study examined the unique roles of four dimensions of temperament (effortful control, sensation seeking, anger/frustration, and shyness) on adolescent PIU, as well as the mediating role of deviant peer affiliation (DPA) on these pathways. Participants were 2758 Chinese adolescents (46% male; mean age = 13.53 years, SD = 1.06) selected by stratified and random cluster sampling from 10 middle schools in southern China. After covariates were controlled, structural equation modeling (SEM) demonstrated that effortful control negatively predicted PIU, while sensation seeking, anger/frustration and shyness positively predicted PIU. SEM also identified that DPA partially mediated the pathway from all four temperament dimensions to PIU. These findings provide evidence for the relationship between specific temperament dimensions and adolescent PIU, and highlight DPA as one explanation for the prevalence of PIU. © 2016 Elsevier Ltd. This study investigated the role of need satisfaction in adolescent pathological internet use by comparing the differences in the perception of need satisfaction online and offline. A compensatory satisfaction theory was proposed to explain the role of need satisfaction online in pathological internet use. Cross-sectional data were collected from 4559 Chinese students from 12 to 20 years of age. The participants responded to an anonymous questionnaire concerning their internet use behavior, their perceived level of need and their need satisfaction online and offline. The results of structural equation modeling showed that pathological internet use was predicted not by the level of need, but rather by the way in which the need was satisfied. Need satisfaction perceived online predicted adolescent pathological internet use positively, while need satisfaction perceived offline predicted pathological internet use negatively. Furthermore, the direct comparison of need satisfaction online and offline showed that the advantage of need satisfaction online completely mediated the effect of unsatisfied need on adolescent pathological Internet use. Enlightenment of the theory and implications for efforts to encourage offline activities are discussed. © 2015 Elsevier Ltd.

A search for CP violation in D0→K-K+ and D0→π-π+ decays is performed using pp collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb-1, collected using the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV. The flavor of the charm meson is inferred from the charge of the pion in D∗+→D0π+ and D∗-→D0π- decays. The difference between the CP asymmetries in D0→K-K+ and D0→π-π+ decays, ΔACP≡ACP(K-K+)-ACP(π-π+), is measured to be [-0.10±0.08(stat)±0.03(syst)]%. This is the most precise measurement of a time-integrated CP asymmetry in the charm sector from a single experiment. © 2016 CERN, for the LHCb Collaboration.

Although recent studies have documented that perceived negative school climate is associated with adolescent Internet addiction, little is known about the mediating and moderating mechanisms underlying this relation. The present study examined whether deviant peer affiliation mediated the relationship between perceived school climate and adolescent Internet addiction, and whether this mediating process was moderated by adolescent effortful control. Our theoretical model was tested using data collected from 2758 Chinese adolescents (mean age = 13.53 years, SD = 1.06). After controlling for demographic variables, perceived school climate was positively associated with adolescent Internet addiction. Mediation analyses revealed that deviant peer affiliation partially mediated the association between perceived school climate and adolescent Internet addiction. Tests of moderated mediation further indicated that the mediated path was weaker for adolescents with higher effortful control. Results highlight the significance of identifying the mechanisms that moderate the mediated paths between perceived school climate and adolescent Internet addiction. © 2016 Published by Elsevier Ltd.

Mobile phone is popular among residents in rural areas of China, especially among the adolescents. The aim of the present research was to investigate how the attitude towards mobile phone as a social status symbol affected life satisfaction of adolescents living in rural areas of China. Teacher-student relationship and student-student relationship as important interpersonal relationship indicators of adolescents were included as mediator variables. Participants were 656 adolescents (316 girls, Mage=14.43±1.67 years), and they were surveyed on the attitude towards mobile phone as a social status symbol, teacher-student relationship, student-student relationship, and life satisfaction in the present research. Results showed that the attitude towards mobile phone as a social status symbol reduced life satisfaction. What's more, attitude towards mobile phone as a social status symbol could reduce life satisfaction via teacher-student relationship, as well as via teacher-student relationship and student-student relationship in sequence. We concluded that the attitude towards mobile phone as a social status symbol is a new risk factor of adolescents' development. © 2016 Elsevier Ltd

Although stressful life events have been shown to play an important role in adolescent Internet addiction, little is known about mediating and moderating mechanisms underlying this relation. Based on the integration of self-determination theory and stress-coping theory, the present study investigated (a) the mediating role of psychological needs satisfaction in the relationship between stressful life events and Internet addiction, and (b) the moderating role of coping style in the indirect and direct relationships between stressful life events and Internet addiction. This model was tested with 998 Chinese adolescents (mean age = 15.15 years, SD = 1.57). Participants filled out questionnaires regarding stressful life events, psychological needs satisfaction, coping style, and Internet addiction. After demographic variables were controlled, stressful life events were significantly positively associated with Internet addiction. Mediation analysis revealed that psychological needs satisfaction partially mediated the association between stressful life events and Internet addiction. Moderated mediation analysis further indicated that the mediated path was weaker for adolescents with higher levels of positive coping style. These findings underscore the importance of identifying the mechanisms that moderate the mediated paths between stressful life events and adolescent Internet addiction. © 2016 Elsevier Ltd. The present study examined whether self-esteem mediated the relationship between passive social network site use (SNS) and subjective well-being, and whether this mediating process was moderated by effortful control. 451 college students (mean age = 21.51 years, SD = 1.47) in Hubei province, China, completed anonymous questionnaires regarding passive SNS use, subjective well-being, self-esteem and effortful control. The results showed that the negative association between passive social network site use and subjective well-being was mediated by self-esteem. Moreover, the mediating effect of self-esteem was moderated by effortful control, with the mediating effect being stronger for individuals with low effortful control than for those with high effortful control. These findings can be beneficial to our understanding of how and when passive SNS use impacts college students’ well-being. © 2016

The first observation of the Bs0→D0KS0 decay mode and evidence for the Bs0→D∗0KS0 decay mode are reported. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb-1 collected in pp collisions by LHCb at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV. The branching fractions are measured to be B(Bs0→D0K0)=[4.3±0.5(stat)±0.3(syst)±0.3(frag)±0.6(norm)]×10-4,B(Bs0→D∗0K0)=[2.8±1.0(stat)±0.3(syst)±0.2(frag)±0.4(norm)]×10-4,where the uncertainties are due to contributions coming from statistical precision, systematic effects, and the precision of two external inputs, the ratio fs/fd and the branching fraction of B0→D0KS0, which is used as a calibration channel. © 2016 CERN, for the LHCb Collaboration. 6-Hydroxymethyl-7,8-dihydropterin pyrophosphokinase (HPPK) catalyzes the first reaction in the folate biosynthetic pathway. Comparison of its X-ray and nuclear magnetic resonance structures suggests that the enzyme undergoes significant conformational change upon binding to its substrates, especially in three catalytic loops. Experimental research has shown that, in its binary form, even bound by analogues of MgATP, loops 2 and 3 remain rather flexible; this raises questions about the putative large-scale induced-fit conformational change of the HPPK-MgATP binary complex. In this work, long-time all-atomic molecular dynamics simulations were conducted to investigate the loop dynamics in this complex. Our simulations show that, with loop 3 closed, multiple conformations of loop 2, including the open, semiopen, and closed forms, are all accessible to the binary complex. These results provide valuable structural insights into the details of conformational changes upon 6-hydroxymethyl-7,8-dihydropterin (HP) binding and biological activities of HPPK. Conformational network analysis and principal component analysis related to the loops are also discussed. © 2016 American Chemical Society.

通过对华北型煤田大采深高承压水和下组煤开采条件下10起较典型的煤层底板承压突水实例进行深入系统分析,基于时空4维结构概念,首次提出了"分时段分带突破"的煤层底板突水机理。从空间上即上组煤2号主采煤层至煤系基底奥灰强含水层之间,以薄层灰岩含水层为界分4个隔水地质单元,以因采动影响而产生的各种破坏损伤及原始导升裂隙带等按阻水能力为界划分11个阻水"分带",并建构了6种突水模式;从时间上按煤层底板渗水及突水通道形成进程划分4个"时段";在此时空概念基础上运用地质结构力学、水动力学、线性断裂岩石力学和非线性系统动力学等进行了相关实验及综合分析,给出了相应时段的煤层底板突水判据。

Production of Bc+ mesons in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV is studied with data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.0fb-1 recorded by the LHCb experiment. The ratio of production cross sections times branching fractions between the Bc+→J/ψπ+ and B+→J/ψK+ decays is measured as a function of transverse momentum and rapidity in the regions 0<pT<20GeV/c and 2.0<y<4.5. The ratio in this kinematic range is measured to be (0.683±0.018±0.009)%, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. © 2015 CERN, for the LHCb Collaboration.

Top quark production in the forward region in proton-proton collisions is observed for the first time. The W + b final state with W -> mu nu is reconstructed using muons with a transverse momentum, p(T), larger than 25 GeV in the pseudorapidity range 2.0 < eta < 4.5. The b jets are required to have 50 < p(T) < 100 GeV and 2.2 < eta < 4.2, while the transverse component of the sum of the muon and b-jet momenta must satisfy p(T) > 20 GeV. The results are based on data corresponding to integrated luminosities of 1.0 and 2.0 fb(-1) collected at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV by LHCb. The inclusive top quark production cross sections in the fiducial region are sigma(top)[7 TeV] = 239 +/- 53(stat) +/- 33(syst) +/- 24(theory) fb; sigma(top)[8 TeV ] = 289 +/- 43(stat) +/- 40(syst) +/- 29(theory) fb: These results, along with the observed differential yields and charge asymmetries, are in agreement with next-to-leading order standard model predictions.

摘要:
The organization of learning resources is an important part of an online learning system. However, the methods which we commonly use in recent years, such as organizing resources manually and single type resource bundle, cannot meet the requirements of online resources organization. We propose a micro-resources organization and generation method based on mixed resource bundle. This method contains three parts which can respectively realize the pack, analysis and layout of online learning resources. In this paper, we give the details of how these three parts are working. Then, we give an example of English micro-content resource bundle. It proves that our method can work very well in English online learning. In the next phase, we will extend our method to other subjects.

A search is presented for hidden-sector bosons, χ, produced in the decay B0→K∗(892)0χ, with K∗(892)0→K+π- and χ→μ+μ-. The search is performed using pp-collision data corresponding to 3.0fb-1 collected with the LHCb detector. No significant signal is observed in the accessible mass range 214≤m(χ)≤4350MeV, and upper limits are placed on the branching fraction product B(B0→K∗(892)0χ)×B(χ→μ+μ-) as a function of the mass and lifetime of the χ boson. These limits are of the order of 10-9 for χ lifetimes less than 100 ps over most of the m(χ) range, and place the most stringent constraints to date on many theories that predict the existence of additional low-mass bosons. © 2015 CERN. © 2015 CERN, for the LHCb Collaboration. Fluctuation and noise propagation in phenotypic transition cascades of clonal populations

Quantitative modeling of fluctuations of each phenotype is a crucial step towards a fundamental understanding of noise propagation through various phenotypic transition cascades. The theoretical formulas for noise propagation in various phenotypic transition cascades are derived by using the linear noise approximation of master equation and the logarithmic gain. By virtue of the theoretical formulas, we study the noise propagation in bidirectional and unidirectional phenotypic transition cascades, respectively. It is found that noise propagation in these two phenotypic transition cascades evidently differs: In the bidirectional cascade, a systemic random environment is provided by a correlated global component. The total noise of each phenotype is mainly determined by the intrinsic noise and the transmitted noise from other phenotypes. The intrinsic noise enlarged by interconversion through an added part shows a novel noise propagation mechanism. However, in the unidirectional cascade, the random environment of each downstream phenotype is provided by upstream phenotypes. The total noise of each downstream phenotype is mainly determined by the transmitted noises from upstream phenotypes. The intrinsic noise and the conversion noise can propagate in both bidirectional and unidirectional phenotypic transition cascades.

People's language features are exhibited on their online social network websites, such as Twitter, Weibo in Sina or ShuoShuo in QQ (a former version of microblog). Several leading labs have already made remarkable breakthroughs in the area of collecting and analysing texts generated by a huge population. In this paper, a novel research topic is presented, with the assumption that different kinds of people may exhibit their unique language features, especially mood disorder patients and normal people. The best efforts have been carried out to verify this assumption. Three mood disorder patients and 32 normal people are invited into this test, with their four-year short texts on their microblogs. The results show that though there is no obvious difference between their neither positive nor negative emotion expressions, a sharp gap does exist in the dimension of anger. The authors expect their findings can be tested in a much larger dataset in the future. If the conclusion still holds, a promising auxiliary toolkit for mood disorder diagnosis can thus be developed.
