摘要:
Based on the development trend of SNSs (social networking sites) and individuals’ specific experiences on SNSs, the current study aimed to investigate the association between information overload and the intention to reduce SNS usage, as well as the mediating roles of negative social comparison and SNS fatigue in this relationship. A sample of 986 undergraduate students who had an active WeChat Moments (the most popular SNS in China) account was recruited to participate in this research. The results indicated the followings: (1) There was a significantly positive association between each two variables among information overload, negative social comparison, SNS fatigue and the intention to reduce SNS usage. (2) After controlling for gender and age, information overload was positively associated with the intention to reduce SNS usage through the mediating roles of negative social comparison and SNS fatigue, and this association contained three mediating paths – the independent mediation effects of negative social comparison and SNS fatigue and the sequential mediation effect of negative social comparison and SNS fatigue. These results not only expand relevant research but also provide practical implications for the reasonable use and sustainable development of SNS. © 2020, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.

摘要:
This article reports a meta-analysis of the relationships between the Big Five personality traits and problematic mobile phone use (PMPU). After searching and screening the literature, a total of 36 studies involving 15,660 participants were included in the analysis. Using the random-effects model, the results indicated that neuroticism and extraversion were positively associated with PMPU. Conversely, agreeableness and conscientiousness were negatively associated with PMPU, while openness showed no association with PMPU. The result also showed that culture could moderate the relationship between openness and PMPU. Specifically, the negative relationship between openness and PMPU was not significant in collectivist culture but was significant in individualistic culture. In conclusion, high neuroticism, high extraversion, low agreeableness, and low conscientiousness are associated with PMPU. Moreover, the relationship between neuroticism, conscientiousness, agreeableness and PMPU is relatively stable. Besides, cultural background moderates the relationship between openness and PMPU. © 2020, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.

摘要:
This study explored the impact of family socioeconomic status on the parent-child relationship, the mediating role of children’s Internet use, and the moderating role of grade. A total of 450 pupils (mean age 9.69years, SD = 1.23) in grades 3 through 6 completed the Parent-Child Relationship Questionnaire, Children’s Network Questionnaire and Family Affluence Scale. The results showed: (1) family economic status, Internet use and parent-child relationship were significantly inter-correlated; (2) family socioeconomic status positively predicted a more supportive parent-child relationship, and children’s Internet use mediated this connection (mediating effect being 14.4% of total variance; (3) grade played a moderating role in the second half of the mediation model: For the junior grade children, family socioeconomic status predicted parent-child supportive relationships through the mediating role of Internet use, whereas the mediation effect was not significant for the senior grade children.

摘要:
为探究父母忽视与青少年网络游戏成瘾的关系及其中心理机制,本研究以全国七个省的八所中学共805名初二学生为被试,采用问卷法考察了父母忽视与青少年网络游戏成瘾的关系及希望在其中的中介作用,并检验了该过程是否受到性别的调节。在控制了每周上网时间和网龄后,结果发现:(1)父母忽视对网络游戏成瘾具有正向预测作用;(2)希望在父母忽视和网络游戏成瘾间起到完全中介作用;(3)性别调节了中介模型的前半段路径,具体表现为相对于女生,父母忽视对男生希望的负向预测作用更显著。结果表明父母忽视会明显降低初二学生的希望水平,进而增加其网络游戏成瘾风险,并且在男生群体中的作用更加显著。

摘要:
A growing body of research has demonstrated that mindfulness can effectively alleviate depressive symptoms. However, few studies to date have investigated how mindfulness links to depressive symptoms from the perspective of attention. Moreover, it remains unknown under what conditions mindfulness links to depressive symptoms. To fill in these gaps, this study examined boredom proneness as a possible mediator and meaning in life as a possible moderator of the link between mindfulness and depressive symptoms. A sample of 746 college students (Mage = 19.23; SDage = 1.06) in China completed the self-report questionnaires of mindfulness, boredom proneness, depression, and meaning in life. Results of mediation analysis showed that boredom proneness partially mediated the association between mindfulness and depressive symptoms. Moderated mediation analyses further revealed that the indirect effect of mindfulness on depressive symptoms via boredom proneness was moderated by presence of meaning and search for meaning (two components of meaning in life), respectively, with the indirect effect being stronger for individuals with lower levels of presence of meaning/search for meaning. These findings broaden our understanding of the psychological processes that underlie the association between mindfulness and depressive symptoms, and offer practical guidance on relieving depressive symptoms. BACKGROUND: With the increasing incidence of mobile phone addiction, mobile phone addiction has been considered to be related to adolescents' psychological distress. However, the underlying mechanisms of this relation were still unclear. The present study tested the mediating role of rumination and the moderating role of the capacity to be alone in the relation between mobile phone addiction and psychological distress. METHODS: 754 middle school students were recruited to complete measures of mobile phone addiction, rumination, the capacity to be alone, psychological distress and demographic variables. RESULTS: Mobile phone addiction was significantly and positively associated with psychological distress, and this link could be mediated by rumination. Moreover, the direct effect of mobile phone addiction on psychological distress and the indirect effect of rumination in this link were moderated by the capacity to be alone. Both these two effects were stronger for adolescents with lower capacity to be alone. LIMITATIONS: The present study is limited in terms of its sample selection, cross-sectional design, and self-reported instruments. CONCLUSIONS: The present study advances our understanding of how and when or for whom mobile phone addiction is related to serious psychological distress. Education professionals and parents should pay special attention to the psychological distress of adolescents suffering from mobile phone addiction, particularly for those with lower capacity to be alone.

目的:探讨社会排斥和自尊的关系,应对方式在其中的中介作用以及内隐人格观的调节作用。方法:采用青少年社会排斥量表、自尊量表、内隐人格观量表及应对方式量表,对657名高中生进行问卷调查。结果:(1)社会排斥和自尊显著负相关;(2)社会排斥不仅能够直接预测自尊,还能通过不同的应对方式间接作用于自尊;(3)个体的内隐人格观水平能够调节社会排斥与积极应对之间的关系,对于倾向于持增长内隐人格观的个体,社会排斥对积极应对的负向预测作用显著,对于倾向于持实体内隐人格观的个体,社会排斥对积极应对的预测作用不显著。结论:应对方式在社会排斥与自尊之间起部分中介作用,内隐人格观在社会排斥与积极应对之间起调节作用。

目的:探讨小组合作学习、学业自我效能感对其学业成绩的影响及作用机制。方法:采用小组合作学习量表、学业自我效能感量表对319名初中生进行问卷调查。结果:初中生的小组合作学习与学业自我效能感、学业成绩均呈显著正相关。学业自我效能感不仅在小组合作学习与学业成绩之间起部分中介作用,还能够在二者的关系中起调节作用。结论:小组合作学习的方式不仅能够直接促进学业成绩,还能通过学业自我效能感进一步作用于学业成绩。

Although perceived stress has been shown to be related to online compulsive buying among women, little is known about the underlying mechanisms of this association. The present study examined the mediating role of negative coping and the moderating role of self-esteem in the association between perceived stress and online compulsive buying. A sample of 548 female consumers (M age = 21.41 years, SD = 4.40) completed questionnaire measures of perceived stress, self-esteem, negative coping, and online compulsive buying. Frequency of online buying and amount of money spent online per month were used as covariates. Results indicated that perceived stress was positively associated with online compulsive buying. Negative coping partially mediated this association. In addition, the direct effect of perceived stress on online compulsive buying, and the mediating effect of negative coping, were moderated by self-esteem. Specifically, these effects were weaker for women with higher self-esteem. These findings advance our understanding of how and when perceived stress is related to online compulsive buying among women. Limitations and implications are discussed. © 2019

Smartphone use has become increasing popular worldwide in recent years, contributing to smartphone addiction tendency. The present study aimed to explore the relationship between self-expansion via smartphone and smartphone addiction tendency, the mediating effect of need satisfaction perceived online, and the moderating effect of environmental sensitivity, respectively. A sample of 1338 adolescents from Hubei Province of China (M = 16.09, SD = 0.96) were recruited to complete anonymous questionnaires. The results revealed that self-expansion via smartphone positively predicted adolescent smartphone addiction tendency directly and indirectly through the mediating role of need satisfaction perceived online. Moreover, environmental sensitivity moderated the mediating effect of need satisfaction perceived online as a second-stage moderator, and the mediating effect was stronger for adolescents with higher environmental sensitivity. The present study suggests that reducing the level of need satisfaction perceived online and teaching adolescents how to seek social support and develop coping skills may be important in the prevention and intervention of smartphone addiction. © 2020

研究旨在考察社交网站(微信朋友圈)中的积极反馈(点赞)与个体主观幸福感的关系,及其内在作用机制—孤独感的中介效应和生命意义体验的调节效应.采用朋友圈点赞频率问卷、生命意义体验量表、孤独感量表和主观幸福感量表对461名微信使用者进行研究.结果 表明:(1)个体在朋友圈中获得点赞的频率可正向预测其主观幸福感;(2)生命意义体验对点赞频率与主观幸福感之间的关系具有调节效应;(3)这种调节效应以孤独感为中介变量.研究揭示了社交网站中的积极反馈与个体主观幸福感之间关系的内在机制及其个体差异,对避免社交网站中社会反馈的消极影响具有理论意义.

摘要:
The present study aimed to investigate the association between online parent-child communication and left-behind children’s adaptation as well as the underlying mechanisms – the mediating role of parent-child relationship and the moderating role of gratitude. A sample of 756 left-behind children (53.94% boys, Mage = 14.42) in central China was recruited to complete measures on online parent-child communication, parent-child relationship, gratitude, and subjective well-being. Results showed that online parent-child communication was positively associated with left-behind children’s subjective well-being, and parent-child relationship could mediate this relationship. Moreover, both the direct effect of online parent-child communication on left-behind children’ subjective well-being and the mediating effect of parent-child relationship were moderated by gratitude, they were stronger among individuals with higher gratitude. This study not only deepens our understanding on left-behind children’ development and adaptation in current information society, but also provides guidance for the intervention and improvement of their adaptation. © 2019, Springer Nature B.V.

Although Social Network Site (SNS) usage has been shown to be related to online compulsive buying among women, little is known about the mediating mechanisms underlying this association. Based on the Interaction of Person-Affect-Cognition-Execution model (I-PACE) for addictive behaviors and social comparison theory, the present study examined the mediating roles of upward social comparison and state anxiety in the link between passive SNS usage and online compulsive buying among female undergraduate students. A sample of 799 Chinese female undergraduate students (mean age = 19.86 years, SD = 1.63) were recruited to complete questionnaires measuring passive SNS usage, upward social comparison on SNS, state anxiety, and online compulsive buying. After controlling for online shopping experience, the results showed that passive SNS usage was positively associated with online compulsive buying; upward social comparison and state anxiety partially mediated this link, which contained three mediating pathways - the separate mediating effect of upward social comparison and state anxiety, and the sequential mediating effect of upward social comparison and state anxiety. These findings can advance our understanding of how passive SNS usage is related to online compulsive buying among female undergraduate students. Limitations and implications of this study are discussed.

摘要:
基于有限自制力理论探讨了心理特权对网络欺骗行为的影响及作用机制,采用心理特权量表、简版自我损耗量表、内隐人格理论量表和青少年网络偏差行为量表对738名大学生进行调查.结果 发现:(1)在控制性别的条件下,心理特权显著正向预测网络欺骗行为;(2)心理特权通过自我损耗的中介作用间接预测网络欺骗行为;(3)内隐人格观调节心理特权通过自我损耗预测网络欺骗行为的前半路径,具体来说,相对于渐变论的大学生,实体论大学生的心理特权更多地通过自我损耗影响其网络欺骗行为.

Technology devices are ubiquitous in people's lives and can interfere with parent–child interactions. This parental technoference is related to negative parent–child relationships and increased child behavior problems. The present study examined the relationship between parental technoference and adolescent smartphone addiction as well as the roles of social sensitivity and loneliness. A sample of 3051 Chinese adolescents (Mage = 13.08 years, SD = 0.89) responded to the anonymous questionnaires regarding covariates, parental technoference, social sensitivity, loneliness, and smartphone addiction. Results indicated that parental technoference could positively predict adolescent smartphone addiction tendency. In addition, social sensitivity and loneliness mediated the association between parental technoference and adolescent smartphone addiction in both parallel and sequential fashion. Specifically, it suggested that parental technoference could lead to higher social sensitivity and loneliness, which in turn resulted in increased adolescent smartphone addiction tendency. The present study contributes to a better understanding of how parental technoference increases the risk of smartphone addiction and also provides important theoretical and practical implications. © 2020 Elsevier Ltd

本研究以482名中学生为被试,采用问卷法探究父母情感温暖、父母拒绝以及父母过度保护的教养方式、心理特权以及观点采择对青少年感恩的影响机制.结果 表明:(1)父母情感温暖显著正向预测青少年感恩,父母拒绝显著负向预测青少年感恩;(2)观点采择在三种父母教养方式与青少年感恩之间起中介作用,心理特权只在父母拒绝和父母过度保护与青少年感恩之间起中介作用.这表明父母教养方式通过观点采择和心理特权的中介作用影响青少年感恩,但是不同的教养方式作用路径不同.

本研究基于有限自制力理论考察童年期虐待对网络成瘾的影响及其作用机制。以1162名大学生为被试,采用童年期虐待量表、自我控制量表、感恩量表和网络成瘾量表进行测试,结果发现:(1)童年期虐待和自我控制、感恩呈显著负相关,与网络成瘾成显著正相关;自我控制与感恩呈显著正相关,与网络成瘾呈显著负相关;感恩与网络成瘾呈显著负相关。(2)自我控制在童年期虐待和网络成瘾之间起中介作用。(3)\"童年期虐待→自我控制→网络成瘾\"这一中介路径的前半段受到感恩的调节;与高感恩个体相比,童年期虐待对低感恩个体的自我控制的影响更小。感恩不仅不能缓冲童年期虐待对自我控制的负面影响,反而会增强这一过程,提示我们注意积极特质在特定情境下的消极作用。

摘要:
触屏学习是通过触屏软硬件设备呈现学习内容,并以手势触屏交互方式获取知识或技能的过程。目前触屏学习基础性研究处于探索阶段,在有效性上,研究发现触屏学习本身可能是有效的,但在相对优势上结果具有较大异质性;在学习后效上,触屏学习有助于提高学习动机,但没有稳定地促进知识保持、知识理解以及二维到三维的学习迁移。针对触屏学习的促进或阻碍作用,以往研究分别从具身认知或认知负荷等理论视角给予解释。学习者、学习材料、学习环境等可能是影响触屏学习效果的重要因素。广泛地将触屏设备应用于学习或课堂场景为时尚早,呼吁未来研究从理论建构、影响因素、特点分析及行为/神经机制角度考察触屏学习的作用。

摘要:
The present research tested the mediating roles of positive feedback and relational certainty in the relation between active social networking site use and life satisfaction. A survey research method was adopted in which four anonymous questionnaires, Inventory of active social networking site use, Positive Feedback Scale, Relational Certainty Scale as well as Life Satisfaction Scale, were completed by 742 senior middle school students. Results indicated that active social networking site use could not only predict life satisfaction positively through the mediating role of positive feedback, but also through the mediating role of relational certainty. The sequential mediating role of positive feedback and relational certainty could also be found in the complex mechanism of active social networking site use on life satisfaction. These results shed light on the importance of active social networking site use and positive feedback for adolescent adjustment. © 2018, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.
