By analyzing the impacts on the runoff of rain flood by the change of land utilization types, this paper gained the results on the dramatic change in the substrate surface during the urbanization process in Wuhan: Because of the urbanization of Wuhan city, the staunch ground is increasing, the rainfall of the city zone is increasing, and it increasing the runoff coefficient, shortening the influx time, increasing the peak discharge, bringing forward the flood peak. Then the paper targeted the concrete situation of flood and waterlogs disasters in Wuhan and pointed out the measures on reduction of rain flood disaster.

摘要:
This article first elaborates the evolution of human-water relationship in the middle reaches of Yangtze River. In the ancient times, natural habitats of the human species were centered around large water and grass rich areas. People maintained an orderly and complete relationship with the water-environment, with the progression of time agricultural societies, begun to exploit the Two-Lake Plains (Hunan and Hubei plains), they constructed irrigation projects and re-constructed the water environment. In Ming and Qing Dynasties, reclamation from lakes caused deterioration of human-water relationship, by the time china was declared a sovereign government, Chinapsilas human-water relationship had became comprehensively deteriorated. further more, this paper also analyzes the influence of human activities on the water environment focusing on aspects of the changes within the lakes system, the evolution of hydrological characteristics, the variation of the frequency of flood disaster and the deterioration of water quality in the middle reach of Yangtze River. The result showed that river systems of Yunmeng marsh, Dongting Lake, Poyang Lake, Jingjiang river have undergone profound changes; the runoff and the sediment content exhibited a decreasing trend in recent years. The frequency of flood disaster has also been on the increase in recent decades. The rapid development of agriculture and other industries accelerated the ecological environmental destruction and the water quality. Finally, the paper discusses the water environmental variation and its effects on human social culture, custom, architecture, settlement vicissitude as well as the agriculture and the influence of flood disaster intensification. The paper demonstrates that water is one of the necessary driving forces for social development.

Dawu is rich in tourism resource, but it is quite lag behind comparing to those mature red tourism spots since its late start, non-general development and initial stage. It needs to be completed fatherly. By analyzing on the present sate and potential of red tourism resource development in Dawu and combining with its favorable condition in developing red tourism resource, the article will give corresponding game and advice to its developing direction against to the present problems.

This paper studies the present state of water and soil loss in the Hubei province. Chinese scholars have analyzed the causes of water and soil loss, and pointed out that both natural factors and human activities are the root causes for these losses. The associated natural factors include the landscape, soil, groundwater and precipitation. Since the climate in this area is subtropical monsoon, heavy rainfall occurs during summer and as a result, the greatest water and soil loss mainly takes place in this season. Hubei province is divided into three regions according to the degree of water and soil loss. The first region is that of mountainous areas given its landscape, this area is characterized with serious water and soil loss. The second region features agriculture and industrial activities, the original land surface area in this region is greatly disturbed by the human activities that it is subjected to. The third division is that of the land around lakes, this division is based on the unique type of soil found in such areas. Human activities including the land use in the agriculture and urban expansion, is found especially in mountainous areas. Research has established that water and soil loss has since 1980, increased more and more with the passing of time. It can be concluded that this trend will continue if the human activities do not support the soil and water systems. Finally, the results from the prevention and treatment discussed showed that the control measures for the prevention of water and soil loss must be definitively enforced at the earliest convenience.

The purpose of this paper is to develop a framework of ecological vulnerability assessment, and to assess the ecological vulnerability by this framework in the middle and lower reaches of the Hanjiang River Basin. Based on the theory of cause - and - consequence, we proposed an indicator system of ecological vulnerability assessment at basin scale. Twelve indicators are selected to constitute the proposed framework of ecological vulnerability assessment. Based on the Landsat TM images acquired in 2000 and technical support of ERDAS & GIS software, an empirical study was carried out. The results of study show that the general characteristics of ecological vulnerability in spatial differences in the Hanjiang River Basin are as follows: the expression of ecological vulnerability is the most vulnerable in the plain regions, the middle vulnerable in hilly regions, and the weakest vulnerable in mountainous regions.

In order to solve the problem of information sharing, updating, maintaining and interacting of agricultural land grading of the test area in Hubei Province,China, we discuss the innovative software solutions based on the Asp.Net technique and ArcIMS platform in this paper. Consequently, this paper focuses on the design and implementation of Information Publication System of Agricultural Land Grading (IPS-ALG).This application utilizes ArcIMS server to deliver a spatially enabled Internet solution for the tracking and management of land grading, facilitating access to up-to-date spatial data and map service for the end-users and providing decision support for the regional government.

Based on the digital topographic map of 1/ 250000 scale, a primary assessment for flood risk in Hubei Province has been made by use of the strong function on space analysis and overlapping of GIS (Geographic Information System) platform. Firstly, through analysis and digitization, four raster coverages are obtained about the following factors that compose flood risk: precipitation, topography, water system (including rivers, lakes and reservoirs) and frequency of historical floods. Secondly, a map of assessment for flood risk in Hubei Province is made by overlapping these raster coverages of the four factors. Results show that, the flood risk is highest in Jianghan Plain and Xiangyang Plain, their risk classification value is 5; it is less high in the edge areas of the plain and low in hill areas, the risk classification value is 4; most part of the mountain areas in west, northeast and southeast of Hubei Province have relative lower flood risk of classification value 2; the high mountain area of Shenlongjia has lowest flood risk of classification value 1. The above result is agreed with the facts of flood disaster occurred in history.

Water pollution incidents have taken place in China frequently resulting in an enormous economic loss. How to solve the problem timely, effectively and efficiently becomes a significant issue to scrub the deleterious effects of sudden pollution accidents. Emergency pollution incident management system is a complete system composed of data layer, model layer and the system interface layer. It has early warning functions such as the real-time monitoring of water quality and prediction of pollution emergencies. To take Wuhan city for example, this system realize the function of attribute query, mouse fixed-point tracking, input of incidents site and output of transportation process as well as extension of pollutants cluster from time to time. It can also query the water quality in different time. The system can be enhanced profoundly and will shorten the response time in a large scale. The successful control methods provide references and technical support for watershed management of pollution accidents in other area.

Human activities on land-use make the land-cover gradually change or transit. With the GIS/RS technique, the paper studies the ecosystem service values change in Qianjiang City which is begotten by land use change. The results shows that the ecosystem service values shows an upward trend, and the land use structure is more reasonable.

Accumulating evidences demonstrate that the channeling of nitric oxide (NO) into S-nitrothiols (SNOs) plays a pivotal role in mediating NO actions. Recent work suggests that GSNO reductase (GSNOR), an enzyme responsible for SNO metabolism, is abnormally elevated under asthmatic conditions. To study GSNOR induction in mice lung, male Kun Ming mice were exposed to gaseous formaldehyde (FA) of 0, 3.0 mg/m~3 and 3.0 mg/m~3 with α-lipoic acid (LA) injection, continuously for 3d. After exposure, GSNOR activity and transcription were examined, and GSH levels in broncho alveolar lavage fluid (BALF) were measured to indicate the oxidative stress. Results showed that GSNOR activity was elevated upon 3.0 mg/m~3 FA exposure (compared with 0 mg/m~3 FA inhaled group, p<0.01) and the elevation was completely inhibited by LA injection (compared with 3.0 mg/m~3 FA inhaled group, p<0.01). Meanwhile, GSH levels were significantly decreased in 3.0 mg/m~3 FA inhaled group (compared with 0 mg/m~3 FA inhaled group, p<0.01), and were regenerated by LA injection (compared with 3.0 mg/m~3 FA inhaled group, p<0.01). The expression of GSNOR correlated with the results of GSNOR activity assay. The results indicated that gaseous FA might activate GSNOR with the increase of oxidative stress. Since GSNOR has a central role in mediating SNO signaling and asthma development, these findings also suggested that indoor air pollutants such as FA might be key risk factors for the rise in asthma cases.

Safe and reliable drinking water is vital to every community. But water pollution incidents have taken place in China frequently resulting in an enormous economic loss. How to solve the problem becomes a significant issue to scrub the deleterious effects of pollution accidents. So the establishment of response models of water pollution accidents in Wuhan city is necessary in order to enhance rapidity, effectiveness and accuracy of emergency commanding, and to improve the level of scientific decision-making. As emergency pollution management system is a complete system composed of data layer, model layer, the system interface layer and network layer. It also has early warning functions such as the real-time monitoring of water quality and water quality prediction of water pollution accidents. Early warning and emergency response system for water pollution accidents in Wuhan City, China shows a quick-acting and accurate numerical method to calculate the value of pollutant concentration in a short time.

A hapten di(2-ethylhexyl) 4-aminophthalate (DEHAP) which possesses the structural feature of di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) was synthesized via esterification and reduction with 4-nitrophthalic acid and 2-ethyl-1-hexanol. The product was confirmed by infrared absorption spectroscopy (IR), 1H nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H NMR) and mass spectrometry (MS). Then glutaraldehyde was used as crosslinker to link DEHAP and bovine serum albumin (BSA) to make artificial immunogen DEHAP-BSA. DEHAP was linked to ovalbumin (OVA) through diazotization to prepare coating antigen DEHAP-OVA. The structure of artificial antigens was identified by ultraviolet spectroscopy (UV) and SDS polyacrylamide gels electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). BALB/c mice were immunized with DEHAP-BSA and the titer of antisera they produced were detected by indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results showed that the artificial antigens for DEHP were synthesized successfully and specific polyclonal antibodies with high titer were produced, which made it possible to obtain monoclonal antibodies and establish immunoassay for DEHP.

The main idea of pervasive computing is to embed computer into the living environment or tool of human, so as to make the computer invisible from user's sight and the users can focus on their task itself instead of the computer. As having natural relationship with the spatial distribution and mobile, the pervasive computing has been applied in Geospatial information areas widely. However, the pervasive computing has brought challenges to the Geospatial information science, and the first step of the solution to this challenge should be the modeling of Geospatial context. This paper summarizes and analyses typical Geospatial context, builds up a formal context model for Geospatial information service based on ontology. The model is designed hierarchically and the context is expressed using the Web ontology language (OWL), which improves context expressing ability. Finally, this paper designs a context-aware computing model for Geospatial information.

Studies of China's energy development and carbon trading opportunities under CDM using aggregate approaches often face two kinds of difficulties: regional variations and institutional constraints of economy. This study initiates research that disaggregates the recent development of the Chinese electricity industry in a case study of Hubei Province. We highlight a bifurcated development of efficient generation technologies and link it to the institutional arrangements for electricity supply, change of fuel structure and specific policy incentives. We also find that carbon emission from the Hubei electricity generation follows a declining trend. An attempt to derive a shadow price of carbon by correlating heat rates with unit costs of generation shows some problems in the cost data. Our study suggests that credible and cost-effective baselines in Chinese power will demand desegregations along vectors of regions and technologies, and require an understanding of economic and institution characteristics of energy decision making.

This paper explores the frequency of precipitation days to better understand flood potential by using different percentiles in the Yangtze River basins from 1950 to 2000. The positive (increasing) trends of the precipitation days at the 75th and the 95th percentile are analysed on both yearly and decadal scales. Some interesting facts have been revealed through this study. It is observed that the precipitation days at the 75th percentile increase more than that of the 95th percentile in the basin. This explains that the yearly increasing precipitation is due to excessive rains and not heavy rains. Also, through the trends (positive and negative), the variation of yearly precipitation days can be classified.

摘要:
Watershed, as it comprehensively represents any part of water resource on our land, is considered the most appropriate units not only for the assessment of water environment, analysis and usage of water resources, but also for the management of water quality. Therefore, many scholars use watershed management to deal with the arising water problems and maintain sustainable development at watershed scale. Considering the complication and uncertainty of watershed system, previous scholars began to use various newly-built models to fulfill the task of watershed management, that is, the multi-objective optimization watershed management models. These models enable us to view watershed management from environmental, economical and social aspects. Base on the study of these models, this paper comprehensively concludes the mechanics, feature and methods of the models. Especially, we analysis four applications of multi-objective optimization models in watershed management. Finally, we analysis the problems of the existing models and express our expectation of the development of multi-objective optimization watershed management models in the future.

Based on principle of classification, graduation and evaluation on cultivated land and technology of composite geography information system (ComGIS) and Unified Modeling Language(UML), this paper designs and implements classification, graduation and evaluation on agricultural land information system (ALEIS). After designing system unitary structure, the process of setting up use-case models by using multi-layer use-case modeling is introduced. Then system analysis, program and testing and direction are presented. The results indicate that it can obtain favorable effect by using UML in the process of developing cultivated land classification, graduation and evaluation information system (ALEIS)
